Kung Wo Beancurd Factory

Visited this place long ago this time made a return with a friend who has never tried before. Got a surprise when I arrived saw another shop next door wondering if it's the same shop. I still preferred the older store but the lady told me it's the same they have expanded and it's more cooling there with air-conditioning. We sat at the new area and realized they have expanded their menu too. We were back just to try the original items so we got the soya bean drink, beancurd and the fried tofu, fried puff and the golden fish and soya cake. Felt the standard pretty much was the same, still as good as the last visit way back. The one we enjoyed was the fried items, so good we ordered another serving of the golden fish and soya cake. Good place and one of the iconic and traditional shops to visit in Hong Kong. Reasonable prices and maybe will visit again to check out the other items the next time.

I’m usually not a fan of soy milk, but this one truly amazed me. Ordered a soy milk and deep fried combo — the tofu aroma was strong, in the best way possible. Easily one of the best soy milks I’ve had. Cheap eats with great satisfaction. Highly recommended!

Kung Wo Beancurd Factory is a busy place in Sham Shui Po. Although not 100% vegetarian / vegan, it has some delicious vegetarian options including cheung fan (ricesheet rolls), udon, stir-fried noodles, soymilks, teas, congee, tofu pudding and the best part…tofu ice-cream with ginger syrup! If you don’t get enough ginger syrup, make sure you ask the staff because it really is the best part. Be careful about the tofu puffs & deep-fried tofu dish. We asked their staff and they said it contained fish products. 113 HKD for 3 people was an amazing deal. I would definitely stop by again, even if it is just to pick up a scoop of ice-cream or the deliciously fresh soymilk.

Probably the best tofu pudding I've ever had! The tofu pudding is smooth, but doesn't break apart easily. The soy milk is a bit bland, but seems to be a common soy milk style in Hong Kong. The pan fried tofu was also really good and smooth! It's pretty rare to find smooth tofu pan fried to begin with, because they usually break apart. They have two sides, the more traditional (cramped seating) side, and the slightly more upscale side.

tasty tofu products, low price. but don't expect to sit comfortably and hygienically at lunch hour. please prepare your own napkins.

For the locals, this might be debatable, but for me Kung Wo Beancurd Factory in Sham Shui Po is the best place to go to for “Dau Foo Fa” or “Tau Foo Fa” or “Tofu pudding” however you’d like to call it in English. Attached to the factory is a restaurant serving their eponymous tofu pudding along with other tofu-based small dishes. The Dau Foo Fa here is super smooth (the smoothest I’ve ever had) and has a wonderful soy taste. It is just simply the best. For tofu lovers, Kung Wo does not only just offer Dau Foo Fa, but a range of tofu-based dishes. That’s not surprising given fundamentally, they make tofu. What is surprising is how good those tofu dishes are. The tofu ice-cream is a definite must try! There is English on the menu fir the non-Chinese speakers. This is the second time I’ve eaten here. Will be back for more.

Came here straight when I arrived Hong Kong! It was pretty good for a cold day. The fried tofu puff was awesome, and was expecting more on the tofu pudding (in my opinion, maybe brown sugar would taste better than just white sugar).

The best tofufan in HkG. Must order the hot . Not cold. Because hot is soft and lebih enak. The cold one put into refrigerator much hard not good . Tafu goreng also good as I know. I look someone order goreng ikan ball jumbo. Look good not not try.
