"This really lovely restaurant located in the centre of the Baroque city has a long tradition dating back to 1408. Kuno von Rebstock is said to have been one of the first owners of the Zum Rebstock estate at that time – hence the name. Today, diners can look forward to the ingredient-led cuisine of chef duo Robin Hofmann and Patrick Grieshaber. Creative modern dishes such as pike ceviche with carrot, egg and parmesan are served as part of a four- to six-course set menu by a well-drilled yet friendly and relaxed front-of-house team who give excellent advice on wine pairings. The restaurant itself is also pleasing on the eye, with its modern, elegant interior done out in warm and earthy tones and furnished with chic armchairs, and designer lamps. We had the 5 course menu and it's a very interesting tasting experience. I have to admit some courses with not so common ingredients and the specific ways of preparation did not fit my taste but I take it as experimental for me. For every course, a card specifically introduces the dish is prepared. The service was very good. There was even a surprise desert and a small gift to bring home. Well it's expensive but worth it.

Very friendly service. Some sauces overpowered the taste of the main dishes. Very salty. Food has gotten better this fall 2023. Salad dressing is more subtle and supports the flavor of the salad ingredients. However, when offering a steak dish, they should asks the guests how they would like their steak to be done. Still delicious in Fall 2024. And in May 2025. Delicious strawberries with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Whoever rated this fantastic gourmet restaurant badly, should not have come here in the first place. If you want to be part of something bigger than just a plain dish, get excited for something you might never forget. I’m a good eater myself and I never went home in need for more food. Been here to many occasions, even at New Year’s, it has been delightful every time. The service is extraordinary, every dish is explained - even in English - and the wine offered is a matter for itself I can’t get into now or it’ll take too long to read. I’m sure to come back and get some more of this awesomeness. Chapeau, with best regards.

Probably one of the best restaurants in Franken. Creative and exciting dishes, presented by a passionate and knowledgeable staff. Can’t wait to return and try their new creations. The tasting menus are just fabulous!

Der Abend im Kuno war großartig. Angefangen beim Service: äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente war ebenfalls sehr ansprechend. Und das Essen selbst war unheimlich gut durchdacht, sehr lecker und inspirierend. Also einen Besuch absolut wert!

The food was the best I've ever had! This is a Michelin one-star restaurant with a modern interior, great mood, very kind staffs, and above all, the food is great. Although I decided to explore other restaurants too during my stay, I always missed this restaurant whenever I had other "good" restaurants in the city.
