Where To Find The Best Matcha In London - London - The Infatuation

"The bench outside Kuro Coffee, a cool, minimalist Notting Hill spot, is never empty. Not at 3pm on a Sunday, nor 7am on a quiet Friday morning. The matcha is a satisfying, vibrant green: it’s whisked fresh by hand so you may have to wait a minute, but the smooth, earthy flavour is worth it. Get it with coconut milk for a tiny bit of sweetness, or go all out and get their dessert-esque ‘matchaccino’ which is topped with creamy, sweet whipped cream." - rianne shlebak

24 Of The Best Outdoor Cafes In London - London - The Infatuation

"Despite the lovely seating upstairs, you should try and nab the bench outside Kuro Coffee when it’s sunny. This Notting Hill spot makes great coffee (we’re fans of their mocha in particular) and the baked goods from their sibling bakery around the corner, Kuro Bakery." - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna

Kuro Coffee - Review - Notting Hill - London - The Infatuation

"The first couple of times we walked past Kuro Coffee, we noticed that the bench out front is never empty. Not at 3pm on a Sunday, or 7am on a quiet Friday morning. Despite the seating upstairs, the whole energy of this place should really be appreciated in its small, buzzy downstairs cafe. It’s got a minimalist interior going on, with whites and beiges everywhere. They make great coffee, but we’re fans of their mocha in particular, and the baked goods from their sibling bakery around the corner, Kuro Bakery. If it’s on, get the excellent bread and butter pudding, and if it isn’t then try your luck at the bakery. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Pause Unmute" - Rianne Shlebak

12:45pm, Sunday. 31/08/25 KURO COFFEE Food & Drinks: - my Latte had balanced taste, good coffee beans, thank you barista ☕️ and paired beautifully with banana cake. - Recommend the banana cake 🌟 - Flat White, "was too milky, couldn't taste the 'Kuro' in coffee".. in this particular serving ~ - Iced Matchaccino; matcha was of good quality, however a conservative amount; tasted a little too much cream and milk. Though I've not tried myself yet; I believe the normal matcha may be a better choice here. Matchaccino greatly suited for those whom are starting out to try matcha. Atmosphere: for a small coffee shop - good outside bench seating - upstairs, windows letting in natural light; seemed like a nice space to work/ light reading. Though, can be a little crowded since as it seemed to allow laptops on weekends - if you're more than two, it'd be better to just take away and sit out in the sun. Service: Usually I don't mind a good coffee with a little sass or attitude, especially I understand Notting Hill can get quite busy and stressful when comes tourist szn. I can't help I'm excited to try KURO for the first time with my friends and captivated by the smell of grounded coffee beans☕️ and can be a little indecisive even if I agreed to confirming the order :') It being a nice sunny Sunday early afternoon.. before heading to KURO Bagels which is lovely by the way ~ ! I had looked away for the mere moment after ordering to look once more at the ceramic tumblers..when she called out to me to pay I said after looking for the card machine and realised the payment screen "ahh sorry I forget I need to get use to the large touch screen payments" however, the lady interrupted my apology with a glare "you mean you forget to pay?!" in a discourteous undertone. Yes, I may look young.. but sadly ignorant with technology as I work creatively offline. If I've upset the lady in some way, bc it either seemed like I was going to sit down (small shop; bench right next to tumbler shelf) or held up a potential queue for a minute.. I wish you well and hope you get some good night's rest after a long weekend of work🙏 Will try the matcha from KURO BAGELS next time, the atmosphere there is very inviting and the staff are attentive and patient 🫶 (^will review soon:)

Stumbled into the cafe and instantly fell in love with the cozy, minimalist vibe. It’s the kind of place where even your coffee feels calmer. The barista was incredibly friendly and kind, and when I asked for a hidden gem in the area, he gave me a recommendation (think it was The Sun In Splendour that he was talking about, such an incredible pub as well) so good I’m convinced he’s basically a Notting Hill treasure map in human form LOL Great coffee, lovely atmosphere, and seriously sweet people. A tiny gem in an already charming neighborhood!

Google
Good filter coffee and it was "Brazilian". There are limited upstairs seats if you are looking for the working if needed. Try to get your croissant from "Kuro bakery" that on the main street, just a minute’s walk away.

The place is very small and not comfortable for sitting. I tried the filter coffee and it was good, but the plain croissant was average. Overall, the quality is fine but the space is too tight, so I wouldn’t come back mainly because of the limited seating.

Nice cute coffee shop in Kensington area on hill gate street. Right across inf the corner they have also a separate bakery. They have any upstairs area for seating.

Nice little spot for a break. The cappuccino with soya milk was really good, and they also have a nice selection of sweets with some vegan options available. The place is small but very cosy, perfect to relax for a while.

The best bakery in London! If you know something better, please let me know. Try the chocolate almond croissant — it’s amazing! But even better was the crokie croissant, which, unfortunately, has been discontinued. Dear owners, please bring the crokie croissant back to the menu! Thanks ☺️
