Excellent food, but the owner completely ruined the experience.
We were a group of 16 people traveling together and chose Kuro Mori with great expectations. The food was truly excellent, and our waiter was friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the owner’s behavior overshadowed everything positive.
She tried to charge us for four bottles of water that were never brought to the table, at €6 each. The bottles that were served were refilled in the restaurant, not mineral water, and some were brought without being ordered, which caused understandable confusion.
There was also a misunderstanding with the wine: the glasses contained only 0.10 L, and we were told they would be refilled later. When the bill arrived, both pours were charged as separate glasses.
Despite the disagreement, we offered to pay the full amount, but the owner reacted shouting, making a scene, and even refusing to take the payment.
Such a pity, because the food and the waiter’s service were outstanding — but the owner showed a complete lack of manners and professionalism.
We wouldn’t return and cannot recommend this place, especially considering the prices and the way we were treated.
