Kuromon Sushi

Kuromon Sushi is honestly one of my new favorite spots. The fish is super fresh, the rolls are beautiful, and everything tastes so clean and flavorful. The Peruvian Japanese mix makes every bite a little different in the best way. The seared salmon and scallop nigris and the hand rolls were my favorites. The vibe is calm, cute, and the service is great too. Definitely a place you want to keep coming back to!! 10 out of 10!!!

Kuromon is an incredible example of a restaraunt with a heart and a menu that is so incredibly thoughtful and delicious. The atmosphere is calm and full of intentional Japanese design. The service was warm, friendly and welcoming. And the food…the food was so delicious. The hand rolls were fresh and yummy. The tuna tataki was melt in the mouth and its sauce was addictive. Overall, a must go. The chef and owner Gio was a brilliant guy and hope he goes far.

Loved this restaurant! The ingredients were so fresh. The salmon nigiri was insanely delicious. It was so soft it felt like it melted in my mouth. The acevichado was amazing as well. Will definitely be coming back. Andhiny and chef Gio were super nice and attentive. 100% recommend.

First off, the food… it was.. AMAZING!! The sushi was delicious and the sashimi was at its freshest and cut to absolute perfection. The lighting in the shop was dim but not dark which made me feel cozy and at home. Not only was the food amazing, the service was too! The waiter, Andhiny, was super kind and helpful. She not only took our orders with a cheerful smile, she also gave us tips on good places to go in Miami as I was on vacation! This place is one of a kind. Highly recommended

We have been looking for a good late night sushi spot near north bay village… and we were so happy to find out about Kuromon. Ambiance, service, quality of food and attention to detail were superb. Hamachi belly, scallop, toro, wagyu… anything on the menu is worth getting. ALSO, to the Veteran (thank you for your service) who paid our meals, thank you and enjoy your next meal on me sir. CHEERS!

This new sushi spot is an absolute gem! The dishes are authentic, incredibly fresh, and made with top-quality ingredients that you can truly taste in every bite. The ambience is amazing — the whole place is so aesthetic, cute, and thoughtfully designed, making it the perfect spot for a casual night out or a special dinner. On top of the food and atmosphere, the service is exceptional. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and genuinely makes you feel taken care of. Everything about this place feels intentional and elevated. Definitely one of my new favorite sushi restaurants in town — I can’t wait to come back!

Great food and service! Ingredients are fresh and rolls are well put together. Nice addition to the neighborhood. *** UPDATE *** A dozen of visits later and I wish I could add an extra star for consistency! The freshness of the fish and the quality of prep are always on point and the hospitality never fails. Truly a place where the front and the back of the house are always on point. What a gem!

An awesome new spot in MidBeach for excellent sushi with great service in a clean, cute spot. The rolls and sushi/nigiri were fresh and very tasty, and the miso soup is the best I’ve had on the Beach. They specialize in flavorful lightly torched nigiri with elegant spices in top, as found in high end sushi places. The simple but delectable spicy hamachi and spicy tuna were fresh, crunchy with vegetables and the perfect amount of spiciness. Honestly, two of my favorite rolls on the Beach. The tuna tartare was also a treat. Best sushi in MidBeach for sure! Service was offered by the super attentive and friendly Andhiny who is co-owner/operator with her talented sushi chef partner. I can’t wait to tell friends and return soon!

If I could give Kuromon Sushi more than 5 stars, I would! From start to finish, this was an unforgettable sushi experience. We sampled a variety of dishes, and while everything was delicious, the standouts for me were the nigiri. The Salmon Anticuchero, Wagyu Anticuchero, and Truffle Salmon are absolute must-tries. Lightly seared to perfection, each piece comes with its own thoughtfully crafted topping that enhances the fish without overpowering it, so flavorful you won't even think about reaching for soy sauce. The fish quality is exceptional, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and paired with perfectly seasoned rice. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Plates arrived at just the right pace, and they were happy to share recommendations and answer questions. This is, without a doubt, one of the best sushi experiences I've ever had and I'm already planning my next visit.

We were so excited for Kuromon to open, and it did not disappoint! You can tell the chef pays close attention to every detail of the sushi--from the rice to the presentation. This is the kind of sushi that doesn't need to be drowned in soy sauce; in fact, I don't think I used it once because every bite was packed with incredible flavor. We ordered the Dragon Roll, Nike Anticuchera, Spicy Hamachi, and Spicy Tuna, and loved them all. Fresh, beautifully plated, and perfectly balanced--Kuromon is definitely a new favorite.

Highly recommend Kuromon Sushi. The food is delicious and the quality of the sushi was incredibly fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. The truffle salmon nigiri is a must-try! Omg. Incredible spot and there is no doubt that this has become my go to neighborhood sushi spot. Fish = very fresh. Rolls and sushi = creative blend of flavors, fresh, melt in your mouth fresh and simply delicious. Gio and staff = kind, creative and hard working. I won't be going anywhere else for my sushi and you shouldn't either.

Amazing sushi, especially their specialty nigiri's. Not your typical regular sushi flavors but better. The sushi rice that they make has an amazing taste to it and it definitely elevates everything that already tastes good. Freshest ingredients and bold flavors that, in my opinion, you don't even really need to dip in soy sauce. If you're not a person who eats raw ingredients, they offer other stuff that are just as amazing especially their gyoza that is just so delicious and different than other places I've been to. They obviously offer your regular sushi styles but if you're also looking for something unique and deliciously unusual flavors, this is definitely a place to go to! I highly recommend Kuromon sushi and can't wait to go back soon!

Amazing service, amazing food. The wife and husband who own it are gems. So thankful we stumbled upon this place. Everything was amazing from start to finish.

Tried Kuromon Sushi opening week and it did not disappoint. Cozy, elevated space that's perfect for date night. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and some of the best sushi I've had--especially the salmon aburi and salmon anticuchero. Highly recommend!

Dont order take out from this restaurant. they do not care about take out orders and will make you wait an hour for your food while tables that have ordered 20 minutes after you finish their entire meals. not even an apology from the chef. Then the waitresses lie to you and say only a couple more minutes every 20 minutes. Very unprofessional

Food was really good, service is excellent, restaurant is charming. Nice ambiance. We will definitely go back soon.
