"Created by DJ Steve Aoki and his restaurateur brother Kevin Aoki, this Japanese spot in the Famous Food Street Eats food court at Resorts World Las Vegas features a variety of yakitori and noodle soup dishes. Chicken skewers run about $6 each. Even the combo plates of three to four items top out at $17." - Janna Karel

"Now, Rocky Aoki’s oldest two sons have opened Kuru Kuru Pa, a fast-casual chicken yakitori spot, at Resorts World’s Famous Foods Street Eats with hopes to do for yakitori as their legendary father did for teppanyaki in the 1960s. Though the Japanese-style chicken on a skewer is common in the coastal U.S., it has yet to find the wide popularity that sushi and ramen have. But if things go the way the Aoki brothers want, that is about to change." - Emmy Kasten

The wagyu bowl with added shrimps was a delicious experience. The wagyu beef was tender, with a rich with flavor that paired perfectly with the shrimp. The teriyaki sauce added a perfect balance of savory and sweet. I would def recommend

I stopped by this place on a whim before heading into Resort World’s Theater for a concert. I was blown away by the beef teriyaki. I highly recommend. The service is great. I was eating with a plastic fork which broke while I was eating. I just kept using it and an employee noticed and brought a new one to me. That small act of kindness made my day!

I was excited to visit the Famous Food Hall in Resorts World and was willing to walk the 45 mins to get there since it’s at the northern tip of the LV strip. But boy was I disappointed with this chicken teriyaki bowl. The chicken was tender, which was good, but everything else was mediocre to soggy. The rice consistency was way too wet. The flavour just reminded me of Teriyaki at the mall, except this was more expensive and less food. Also note that the food hall doesn’t take cash, it’s credit only. They don’t call our your order number when it’s ready. You have to ask them if the bowl sitting there is yours.

I'm sure glad I didn't let the negative reviews stop me. My wagyu bowl was AMAZING. I was on hangover day 2 and this bowl (with a side of kimchi) brought me back to life. Seriously. I can't wait for my next trip out, it'll be my first stop after the airport. Go, run, get the bowl!

Google
I should have known better not to try anything associated with Steve Aoki. Nothing personal against the guy but I can't see anyone who is an ambassador for the chessy EDM scene to also be a quality oriented restaurateur. Unfortunately at the time I did not even realize that this was his restaurant (although his name is on the sign). I got one of the Chicken Teriyaki bowls and the chicken really did not taste like anything and the bowl had waaay tooo much white rice in proportion to everything else in the bowl. I just hope next Tiesto does not open a restaurant...

Had the steak bowl and it was phenomenal this lil hidden gem is inside resorts world and is by far the best bang for your buck! I had the steak pans my buddy had the shrimp 10/10 would recommend!

Google
Associates were nice. Its not their fault they have to serve what they do. This place is a walk up food place located in resort world in Las Vegas so it's like a mall/food court setting with a casino feet away. The food tho... how can they get it so wrong? The skewers are so small and thin. I personally didn't get blown away by the flavor either. The menu is confusing. They show various things in each picture but it's one of each so I paid 26 bux for 3 things. Rice ball and 2 skewers. I hope I can attach a picture. I sure the details are there but when you're hungry and excited about this place so I over looked that part I guess. Long review short... No I don't recommend this place. Especially if your hungry. These are appetizer sizes and well I wish I had looked at the reviews first.

Sarah

Google
Ordered 4 steak bowls all of them were gross. The meat is thin and had absolutely no seasoning whatsoever and had an overwhelming char flavor. No teriyaki sauce a few shreds of carrots and couple pieces of cabbage for the veggies. For $20+ a bowl we were completely disappointed and had to force ourselves to eat it.

Nica L.

Yelp
The guy at the counter was really friendly and likeable. I ordered a Wagyu bowl (it did not taste like Wagyu, that was the chewiest "wagyu" steak I ever tried to eat-- like meat gum. I couldn't even swallow it. Husband took it back and got me a garlic shrimp bowl instead and it was delicious. There's a lot of seating in this food court area and the hotel employees do a great job at keeping it clean. Nice place to eat at a reasonable price.

Skyler S.

Yelp
I had to chew the "Wagyu" beef for what seemed like an eternity. And did I mention it was almost $30? I'm not the only one to write about this. There are a number of better places in the food court. Don't choose this one.

Alexis M.

Yelp
This was just okay. I didn't want to read into too much of the already low ratings on yelp so I had to try it for myself. We ordered the shrimp bowl. The shrimp pieces were a decent size and there was a lot of rice. The shrimp was super charred where it was a little too bitter for my taste. It will fill you up, but it does lack flavor. I don't think I'll be coming back again...but who knows...service was nice as quick. Keep in mind they don't offer tap water only bottled.

Jackie K.

Yelp
I ordered the Snake River Farm Wagyu Bowl for take out. It's a bit pricey at $25.75. Lucky I had a Resort World Food and Beverage voucher. The meat is tender. The flavor subtle. The rice underneath the beef was a bit soft and soggy from the gravy. Otherwise a very tasty meal. The food court is located in Resorts World Casino. Lots of open and clean tables are available to all the vendors. Service was efficient and courteous at this location.

Ashley B.

Yelp
It was really easy to order on the big tablets and the food came out so fast. I came around 3pm so not many places were opened and I settled on this place. I'm so glad I did because it was sooo good. Such a smokey flavor that I love. Probably the best take out teriyaki I've ever had. I wasn't expecting much from the restaurants in resort world but this is a must try! It's a pretty good portion but there is a lot of rice. It's a really easy place to order some food then pickup and sit anywhere with family or friends. UPDATE: if you come here for the food. Just come here for the food then LEAVE! I thought there would be more stuff to explore but we kept getting lost in the conference centers and there was nothing to do here.

Damiana D.

Yelp
The third time proved to be the charm as this bowl surpassed previous experiences, despite still earning a modest 5/10 rating. My request for extra sauce, a staple in my orders, was finally acknowledged. The shrimp, though charred to perfection, were unfortunately overcooked and chewy. Similarly, the rice suffered from overcooking, yet the abundant sauce helped mitigate its texture. Disappointingly, the promised garlic and butter flavors were absent from the dish despite their mention in the title. It's something decent to eat if you're in a rush.

David Joshua D.

Yelp
I decided to eat here since I went to go visit Resorts World on my recent Vegas trip. The food court area was nice. There was a lot of different options to choose from. Decided to try the Snake River Farm Wagyu Bowl out. The food was just okay. The meat was a bit chewy and not really what I'd be expecting with the Wagyu name. Also, the food was pretty pricey as well. I didn't think it was really worth the price. Don't think I'd be eating here again.

Angelica L.

Yelp
Overall: 3.4/5 The prices here are pretty high for small yakitoris. This place is a hit or miss so I wouldn't recommend eating here unless you're really craving or just wanted something small to eat. Kurobuta Pork Jowl ($7): It was a bit overcooked. Angus Beef Tenderloin ($8): The beef was tender and marinaded well. The wasabi surusa and crispy garlic gave it extra flavor.

Mel J.

Yelp
My kid was cranky and tired from a long road trip. When we got to the food court, he didn't want to eat anything until he saw someone hold a chicken satay and insisted that he wanted that. So, I reluctantly bought him 1 piece of chicken breast. It was $10 for one skewer! The food came out pretty slow (around 20 minutes for 1 skewer) even though it was around 8:30pm (late dinner). I tried a tiny bite and my kid finished it. For me, the chicken was tender but it tasted a bit bland. The yuzu sauce was just ok - didn't really help to elevate the yakitori. I won't buy it again. It was just a super expensive regular yakitori. Later I found out that it is owned by the famous DJ Steve Aoki - maybe that's why the price is so expensive (?)

Bob J.

Yelp
Resorts world is fantastic with all the food options in and outside of the food court. The walk up ordering is a bit wonky but with a little help we figured it out. I ordered the shrimp and chicken bowl with a Diet Coke for $32.75. This might be the biggest ripoff on the strip! So many other options all around this places and based on the other reviews I'm not the only one who feels this way. The chicken is burnt and the little marinade they put on the rice wasn't put on the protein for whatever reason. Tasteless and Overpriced is the the best way to describe this 1.9 rated establishment. Skip it at all cost and you'll be happy you did!

Angela G.

Yelp
You rarely ever see a Yakitori place unless you're in downtown Little Tokyo or somewhere authentic but even then, it feels so rare to find. We were pretty excited to find this spot while browsing the food court of the new hotel. We went up to the kiosk, my bf browsed and ordered what he wanted while my mom and aunt also ordered from their menu. We ordered and found a table to sit at while waiting for our food. Not even lying, there was one chef and one person working the register. I have no clue what the chef was doing but it really shouldn't take a good hour for an onigiri and 2 yakitori. Why in the world did it take extremely long?! We ended up ordering food from other places in the meantime because it took that long and even after finishing those meals, they still weren't ready. We had to ask the lady what was taking so long and she kept brushing us off and telling us it would be out soon. You can see the guy cooking through the window and he seemed BEYOND slow. Maybe he was new? Shouldn't he have another worker helping if he is? I don't know but it was awful and definitely not worth the wait for the world's tiniest serving. Definitely not coming back here unfortunately. IG: @ammysalamii

Yelp
I just had lunch at Kuru today and thought it was excellent. I had the salmon teriyaki bowl and it had just the right amount of teriyaki sauce. The salmon portion was generous and delicious. They cook to order, so it took about 15 minutes to get my order, but fresh is always best!

Anthony F.

Yelp
Really skimpy on amount of food. Came with a chicken breast sliced up in 5 pieces. Really little veggies and too much sauce my rice was drenched in sauce the the rice was mushy. For a food place in Resorts Wold I expected a better meal. My pizza I had was way better.

Jill L.

Yelp
What an absolute rip off of a place. I ordered the Mama San Combo and another order of Kurobota pork jowl skewers to share. Bottom line: Don't eat here. Look at the photo. This plate cost $25. The touchscreen with the extra sides of pork jowl skewers had two in the photo yet only came with one, $7 for one skewer with the smallest pieces of meat! And the chicken wings were puny. I understand Vegas is expensive and I go all the time. But this place is highway robbery.

reymund p.

Yelp
Food-by far this is the worst bowl I've ever ate. The quality of meat used here is terrible. The seasoning was great but the meat. Ugh the meat. Not good. Service-friendly. Ambiance-very cool looking in here. Ambiance is not the problem. The food needs an extreme overhaul otherwise you might as well close this place down.

Melissa L.

Yelp
I was checking out resorts world for the first time and ran across steve Aoki's brothers restaraunt. Being a big Steve Aoki fan I thought I'd give it a try. First off let me start by the food taste so good. The meats are seasoned very well. Everything tasted delicious! Everything including the rice was good. The price you pay is insanely ridiculous for 3-4 tiny pieces of meat you get on a stick that won't even fill up a toddler. I rather you charge me 40-50 dollars for a whole steak. Honestly, I have had bigger chunks of steak and chicken in a salad. It was a bit pathetic to me. Overall I enjoyed it but due to the stingy portions sadly, I prob won't eat here again unless they change it. You can get WAY more food for what you Pay there elsewhere in vegas.

Ray F.

Yelp
More like an appetizer and tapas bar than a restaurant? Another average walk up kiosk restaurant in "Resort World" Order on the screen, pay digitally (there is no cash option) and wait to be texted when you food is ready. The whole looking for a place to sit and then have to go grab your food only to loose your seat? This is not what I consider dining. The food was okay, to better than the others in the area, but thats not saying much. The skewers were okay, but nothing special and again for the price an undervalue. We tried the chicken and beef both, again they were okay but not great and three small skewers (6 total with both) was pricey. The small grilled peppers were pretty good, flavorful but a tiny portion for the price. 3 Stars - Just Okay and nothing special and as such average 00787

Caroline L.

Yelp
We loooove Steve Aioki so we had to eat here as one of the restaurants offered in the "street food" area of Resorts World casino. Food: Ordered Crazy Combo $17 which comes with 1 chicken breast skewer, 1 angus beef tenderloin skewer, and 1 salmon yaki onigiri. Also ordered an extra onigiri $5 for the baby. The skewers were pretty good and the onigiri was toasted on the outside so had an interesting crunchiness. I had to knock off some stars for the price and customer service. The meal would've been 5 stars if maybe the combo was more like $14-$15 and if the workers seemed happy giving you the food tray instead of a just a blank face and no words spoken. This combo was more like a snack than a meal.

Jay M.

Yelp
I visited Kuru Kuru located in Resorts World. I ordered the beef tery bowl. I honestly wish the beef was medium rare. It was a bit tough to bite into. The rest was great, rice and tery yumm!

Alizen R.

Yelp
Man, it really hurts me to write such poor reviews but I really had so much more hope for Kuru Kuru Pa and it just did not deliver. I know a lot of people think that the food options at Famous Food Street Eats are expensive but this was definitely overpriced and not worth the money I paid for it. $8 -- Chicken Thigh is a huge pass. Did the chicken taste good? Yeah sure but I wouldn't have paid this much for something when I could order so many other things at the street eats area. Choose at your own risk... (12/100--2022)

Jaynar S.

Yelp
I ordered the Chibi Aoiki Combo. Even though it may look appetizing, all the skewers are WAY over seasoned. The chicken wings were covered with too much schichimi powder and sea salt. Plus, the combo comes with a rice ball that is already covered in Furikaki seasoning, which is salty seaweed. Furthermore, they sprinkle more seasoning on the skewers after the meat has been marinated. At this price point,I do not recommend this place.

Christine L.

Yelp
Would recommend this place for beer/alcoholic snacks, but not for full-on meals. Overall proportions are just rather small. Located in the innermost area of the Famous Foods Street Eats food court at the new Resorts World Las Vegas, go all the way down the line. For best parking, go to the Resorts World Self Parking garage in the back, then cross Goh Tong Way and follow the round horseshoe road/driveway to the back entrance. You can order from Kura Kura Pa Yakitori through the standalone screens throughout the food court or at the counter, it's the same system. Part of said system is that you'll receive a text when your order is ready, which is good because some stalls took longer than others. It's also useful because the food court is big so it'll give you the chance to explore in the meantime. Plenty of seating and there's even a part of the eating area where they occasionally have a DJ. There are even projectors in the back area to watch the game! Generally, I would say the options in this food court are rather hit or miss. I would recommend looking up each individual stall you're eyeing to see if they have the proportions and kind of food you really want before you order. This vendor was, unfortunately, a bit of a miss for me, even though we were first attracted to Famous Foods Street Eats because of Kura Kura Pa Yakitori. I don't know what it was about that day, but a lot of what we got was very salty. And Kura Kura was the saltiest of all to the point where I found it a bit inedible. But the whole resort IS still in the process of getting on their feet, so I wouldn't discount them yet.

Lychelle O.

Yelp
Oh Steve Aoki, I wish I loved this spot as much as I love your music! That could be the reason why you are a DJ and not a chef, no offense to your brother. We came to the Resorts World Famous Street Eats inspired by Asian late night small bites. There are plenty of options, but the sticks of yakitori appealed to me as it was an easy bite and promised to be packed full of flavor. Unfortunately, at $8 a stick it was a let down. I thought perhaps it would at least deliver on flavor, instead it was just a stick of meat that felt like it was glazed last minute with the sauce. I can't get behind the price or the size of the yakitori, especially as the flavors were nothing to write back home about. This could pass after a long night of drinking and bar hopping, but I suggest choosing another spot to eat if you have not done that prior to coming here.

Elizabeth V.

Yelp
RIDICULOUSLY long time for the worst most bland food ever. RW has far better food you can waste time on. I ordered the "garlic butter shrimp" bowl and it had ZERO garlic ZERO butter. Do yourself a favor and avoid this garbage place. Please. You'll see very pissed and disappointed people waiting around this place so don't become one.

Ben Carlos D.

Yelp
When I saw a Chibi of Steve Aoki, I knew I had to get a menu item from Kuru Kuru Pa. The Aoki last name, though mostly known in EDM to the younger generation is the name tied to one of the largest hibachi restaurant chain in the world. We tried the Aoki Brother special and the disappointment just hits. Each skewer was seasoned so strongly that you couldn't properly enjoy the actual meat. The only redeeming item on the plate was the rice ball. If they had screwed that up, I'd be thoroughly surprised. If you want yakitori, I would suggest venturing outside the Strip and closer to Chinatown. If you want a badly seasoned skewer just to say you ate at a restaurant that Steve Aoki had a hand in designing, then go ahead and I hope you have a better experience than I did.

Chris V.

Yelp
You know how there's lots of great and non-overpriced yakitori off the Strip? If not, consider yourself warned now. Kuru Kuru Pa Yakitori has the name recognition of Steve Aoki attached to it. It also has insane prices, as I already saw when browsing their menu on the kiosk ordering system shared between them and most other inhabitants of the Famous Foods Street Eats complex in the Resorts World Las Vegas. Both the Salmon Yaki Onigiri ($8) and Kimchi Yaki Onigiri ($7) were bland and uninteresting. I would've considered a higher rating had I not tried both of those. The Shishito Peppers ($7) also were fairly bland. The proteins were good, but they seemed so overpriced to me. Yes, it's on the Strip, but this business is being billed as street food, not as a real sit-down restaurant. Chicken Hearts ($9) were good here, but they came in tiny pieces and can be obtained at at least one off-Strip concept spun off from a renowned local Japanese restaurant. Similar idea with the Kurobuta Pork Jowl ($11) and Chilean Seabass ($14), both of which were pretty tasty but also stingily portioned. Specifically for the pork jowl, I can guarantee that this version isn't even near the best in town. I'd like to note that neighboring businesses have received poor ratings on account of the wait time, and that wasn't a negative issue for me. During my weekday early evening visit, it took 10 minutes from ordering to the your-food-is-ready text. Going with Kuru Kura Pa alone will cost an arm and a leg just to satiate your belly, and there are so many delicious Japanese grilled meat options off the Strip. I'll even name Hachi and Raku as starting points, just in case you're reading this and aren't well-versed in the local food scene.

Jessie K.

Yelp
If I could give less than one I would. We ordered for take out so we could relax in our room. When we cut into our fish it was completely raw and inedible. To have anything done they asked us to come down to the spot to discuss it. Honestly exhausting and unsatisfying experience. 10/10 would not recommend.

Gail U.

Yelp
6-29-21 Researching Yelp we planned visiting the newest addition to the Vegas scene and include a meal to make our time worthwhile. The food hall is amazing like hawkers at an Asian night market and as congested as food stalls in Little India. Way more frequented than a farmers market. Want the glitz, liveliness and adrenaline call of a Vegas hotel and casino? Make the time to visit. Expect the crowd and to pay exhobitant amounts based on your choices. For example I ordered 6 varied skewers partly based on cashiers recommendation that with tip was $73+. So tasty and ready in about ten minutes. Order on one of the many kiosk pay stations or at the screen at the counter. I knew I wanted the chicken gizzards but hubs said You can have it all so I gave him most of the Chilean bass. We shared the other skewers. From what I saw the skewers were dipped then brushed with a perhaps sweetened teriyaki sauce. Whatever it was reminded me of the taste of those bbq meat sticks you ate with saimin from my childhood- SO good!!! You get what you pay for- the price entitled you to enjoy the sights of the newest jaw dropping bright dazzling lights atmosphere, the hustle and bustle of diners scurrying to place an order and the throngs of curious crowds like a herd of steadily moving buffalos moving in one direction. Would I eat there again? Yes!!! Saw many people enjoying eating bowls of noodles. Just didn't want to order then wait to try it at the moment. They'll always be a next time.

Jen W.

Yelp
Kuru Kuru Pa Yakitori is located within Famous Foods Street Eats, a food hall at Resorts World inspired by the street food stalls in Southeast Asia.  Resorts World is the new hotel that just opened on the Vegas Strip in June 2021 (the most recent opening before that was the Cosmopolitan in 2010).  Many of the places are Michelin Plate and Bib Gourmand-recognized hawker stands from Asia. It was very convenient to be able to order and pay from multiple stalls at the electronic kiosks ()though you could also go to each restaurant and order as usual). Each stall texts you when your food is ready for pick up. You would almost be tempted to overorder as there are so many stalls, but the Vegas prices should help prevent that :)   I'm glad we went with a big group so we could try different things. Also, parking at Resort World is free and so is the WiFi (though you need to submit an email address). We ordered the Crazy Combo w/jidori chicken breast skewer, angus beef tenderloin skewer, and salmon yaki onigiri. Everything tasted good, albeit a bit expensive, but a good addition to the mix of everything else we ordered.

Tom S.

Yelp
I ordered Chicken Teriyaki as recommended by staff. I cannot really taste the Teriyaki at all. Overall I like Steve Aoiki as a Dj. lol

Studio E.

Yelp
Food and service were great. Ordering was simple. Atmosphere is food court...had shrimp bowl...lots of shrimp.

Sara M.

Yelp
Ate here late one night while staying at the nearby Hilton property. Great food but really small portions for the price. The portions were more of an appetizer but still, my "crazy combo" was tasty and fresh. For $16 I got a small plate of a chicken skewer, one beef tenderloin and one egg shaped patty of Salmon Yaki Onigiri (grilled rice ball with soy sauce). $5 for a bottled water is nuts but again, it's Vegas.

Benny C.

Yelp
The chicken pieces were completely black and overcooked on the other side. I do not know who cooked this but this is unacceptable for me to eat.

Brian J.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place out. But was feeling so let and down and disappointed when I received my order. Portions were very small and cost was high. This alone was enough to ruin my taste buds. So maybe that could have been the cause for the uneventful flavors. But I would bet more on the theory that this restaurant didn't really try to impress. Having the Aoki name was enough to get me to try this place out. But it wasn't enough to wow me. In addition to the lack of flavors, they also ran out of gizzards. How could they run out of gizzards when they serve so less per order?

Abigail C.

Yelp
Sad. I understand that I'm in a hotel and a casino so the food is going to be overpriced and not good, but this was especially disappointing. The rice was mushy and over cooked and the teriyaki sauce tasted like nothing. I asked for extra and it made no difference. No flavor at all. Love Seattle teriyaki so I was excited to try this place. Total bomb. The chicken was grilled nicely but for $23, go somewhere that might provide some flavor to the mediocre meal.

Daniel V.

Yelp
Was a little disappointed in the combo. 3 skewers and had to add more sides just to make the plate look full. Price for everything you see picture was roughly $30+ ‍. Paid for the experiences.

Anna G.

Yelp
Pork jawl was tasty but for the amount and size of the skewer? It's definitely not worth 7 dollars! The the salmon onigiri though, was delish!!! I'll be back for that for sure!

Melinda O.

Yelp
So my total for the crazy combo was 18 (including tax). I opened my box and was disappointed with how small the kabobs were. I will say that all 3 items were DELICIOUS! My beef kabob was tender and cooked perfectly...had a wasabi sauce on top, but it wasn't overwhelming (not a wasabi fan). The salmon onigiri was yummy and the chicken kabob has a nice lime kick to it. 4 stars based solely on it being pricey for the size, but it was so delicious I didn't care as much once I was done.

Benyamin H.

Yelp
I recently visited Kuru Kuru Pa Yakitori restaurant owned by musician Steve Aoki at the new Resorts World. The restaurant attempts to recreate the magic of small Japanese restaurants in an overly sterile and artificial manner. I ordered the Mama San combo consisting of Shishito Peppers marinated in yuzo-miso and covered in Bonito flakes, furikake ongiri rice and the kurobuto pork jowls. The food was decent in flavor, however the portion size was small and the price was very expensive for essentially a tasting. Overall, I was disappointed in my experience at Kuru Kuru Pa Yakitori. The food was high flavor but small portions and overpriced. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, in fact, if I did they would more than likely lose respect for my taste in food.

Edgar D.

Yelp
This place is expensive the beef kabobs are the best tasting. The wings are seasoned with powder and semi burnt. I cannot recommend this place. The best thing about it, is that it's conveniently on the casino floor in the food court. I also like the cash less ordering system. All of the restaurants are on a touch screen ordering Point of Sale screen. Which allows you to order from multiple restaurants on the same screen. Each kabob is like $9 dollars. Not worth the price. It was cool to try but we won't be back. The theme is super cool and the casino is less than a year old and because of the pandemic, everything looks new.

Nashashibi N.

Yelp
Over priced mediocre food. I ordered the shrimp bowl, shrimp was not even hot. Lacked flavor, would have had a better meal at Panda Express and that's sad. I will never return.

Vincent D.

Yelp
Ouch, the hype was lit when we went to the Resort World! We wanted to try the somewhat luxurious quasi-authentic street food experience. The nice thing about this glorified food court is that it is convenient; you can charge your bill to your room - which is kind of nice. You do not need to bring your wallet or your phone. And here we have this place, Kuru Kuru Pa - supposedly owned by the Aoki brothers. I do not have anything good to say about the food quality, so I will just let the readers know my honest opinion: - The price is outrageous, $7.00 for a stick of meat with at most four pieces in a stick. $8.00 for an Angus steak which is super tough and tasteless - There are other weird combos, but pretty much the quality of the meat is the same, the pricing is just outrageous for food court food. - The taste was unbelievably bland; you might as well not advertise it as a yakitori place if you do not know what "yakitori" is. - A Japanese food place that is out of "canned green tea"? Is this some kind of a joke? Just because you are famous, you should probably not be selling something that is half-baked like this, this is embarrassing.

Yelp
This was my first time not checking yelp beforehand as I was starving and regretted the decision afterwards.. I ordered the combo that came with two skewers and an onigiri. These were the tiniest, smallest, and priciest skewers I've ever ate. The beef and chicken were dosed in this very tangy sauce that you couldn't even taste the protein. The fried onirgri with salmon was the saddest looking rice ball ever. It was mainly rice and had very little bits of salmon inside. Would definitely not recommend eating here unless its the very last resort.

Yelp
I get why people gave them such a low rating. It is really expensive for what it is, an the portions are small. It really doesn't compare to getting yakitori in Japan where it's about $1.50 for 2 skewers. The only reason why I still give them 4 stars is because we ordered the Kurobuta pork jowl yakitori and it was some of the tastiest bits (literally bits) of food I had at the food hall. You got a nice bite on the outside, with slightly charred bits that had hints of charcoal flavor (one of the characteristics of yakitori). The fatty cut of meat was absolutely juicy and it was so flavorful. I do think the prices should be at least half of what it is now, or should at least come with two skewers instead of one. Just think of it as the Benihana of yakitori-- overpriced for what it is! I haven't tried the other items on the menu so just solely based on the jowl, I think it was delicious!

Yelp
I have NEVER given a single star to any restaurant before since I know how much a critical review can affect people's perceptions of a business. That being said, I must give an honest review - if Yelp had 0 stars as an option, then I would heavily consider giving that rating. The reason I would rate so low is because of the misleading menu, tremendously small portions, and astronomical costs. I ordered the Chicken Wing , Kimchi Yaki Onigiri, Angus Beef Tenderloin, Kurobuta Pork Jowl because they looked so good on the menu. If you look closely at the menu, each image has multiple pieces of meat/onigri I and seems to be sufficient for a small meal. However when I received my order, I was given 3 pieces of meat and 1 onigri. I felt very misled that each order was a for a single piece of meat. Not only was the portion small but it cost me more than $40 for the 4 items. I felt upset that the portions were small and when I asked the cashier if this was all, she laughed at me and said yes. Accordingly, I would highly recommend against ordering from this establishment. I am not sure if Steve Aoki is associated with this restaurant as others have said in their reviews, but if that is the case, I would highly recommended that he: 1) disassociates himself and likeness from the business; 2) goes on UnderCover Boss to truly understand the lackluster food quality and disappointing customer experience. I am in incredible disbelief that this type of business is operating at a quality Las Vegas hotel. A microwavable pack of ramen noodles would be much more affordable and 1000x more satisfying than this location. Avoid at all costs.

Yelp
Mama Aoki garlic butter, shrimp bowl $21.75. Coke Zero $6.00. Expected to pay high prices at Las Vegas casino resort. The shrimp bowl was delicious. You get a text message when order is ready, show your text message when picking up order. Atmosphere was great enjoyed the constant activity/ movement in the food hall. It was very busy.

Yelp
It's no surprise the Aokis would offer gourmet food at Kuru Kuru Pa Yakitori, their family being in the restaurant business for over a half century. Yakitori is a grilled skewer of meat, which is their specialty here. I'm not into innards so I passed on the hearts and gizzards, but maybe you're more adventurous. Wings come three to a skewer and taste real good with the shichimi togarashi seasoning (chili flakes, sesame, seaweed) which gives them a bit of a kick. Just know that they are kinda small, with the bones still in and the amount of meat you get for $8 is more like an appetizer. Most of the others, like the thigh ($7) and breast ($9) are small too, so don't expect to get full unless you order a bunch of skewers. But they do taste delicious, so I recommend you get a variety. Kuru Kuru Pa is located in Resorts World's 'Famous Food Street Eats', an upscale food court. They don't take cash....none of the restaurants do. Problem is, when there's a glitch in the computerized ordering process, everything shuts down as they lack the ability to put in orders manually. It was almost comical that day when the cooks stood still with spatulas in hand, unable to use their hibachis for all the hungry diners watching from three feet away....because of a slow computer. I guess you call that progress. I like the taste of the food at Kuru Kuru Pa...in my opinion, they do need to be a bit more generous with the helping size. Or maybe that's just the reality of operating a business in a high rent casino these days. Decor is cool with some Aoki anime art and the workers there were friendly. Give it a try, you'll probably like it.

Yelp
My husband and I have been waiting to make our way to Resorts World to try this place out mainly because of two reasons... 1) I love yakitori 2) Aoki brothers After a small trek down Resorts World, we finally stumbled upon the Famous Food Street Eats area. There is a monitor located in the Food court where you can order your meals and pick them up when they are ready. We decided to try Yakitori which was moderately priced at $9 a pop. The results were... how do you call it?... mehhhhh... I decided to place my bets with the Chicken Wings and Yakitori. I originally thought this was a kid's meal and that the cook was playing a joke on me.. He was not... The taste was average. Portions were miniature. See the pictures below...

Yelp
Beef is like maybe 2-3 / 10 , over cooked and way too much sauces. Somehow it gets ready lots earlier than the chicken so when I get them all together, the rice ball and beef have already getting cold. The chicken have some problems with it , taste not fresh at all. Not sure because it's pre packaged or preseasons . The meat taste so weird . If it's not free casino host credits, I'll ask for the refund... that's for sure.
