"This restaurant is an express trip to Osaka to discover the city's culinary speciality of kushikatsu (meat, vegetables or seafood skewers coated with breadcrumbs and deep - fried). Dish after dish reveals fine flavours, such as: beef sancho, peppered foie gras, and shiitake mushrooms. The courteous service transports you to Japan." - Michelin Inspector

The only place in Paris where you can enjoy authentic Japanese *kushikatsu*. Set in a calm and refined atmosphere, you can watch the chef’s expert skills from across the counter as you savor each dish. The pairing with champagne or wine is absolutely perfect, and despite being fried, the food feels light and never too heavy—a true culinary gem.

It was a great experience in Paris! The portion and quality of ingredients everything was perfect! The master takes care each small details, each one of skewers is art, frying, timing to serve food, I felt I am in my home country Japan.

Very special and classic Japanese restaurant. Everything is good, the only thing they need to improve is that maybe someone will feel hungry after finishing the menu, because it’s a bit too small. I hope they can put more food inside.

An amazing place with incredible food that is served as a whole experience. Can highly recommend asking for the non-meat variations that are not automatically offered but very delicious. Every single dish had so many unexpected, subtle flavors. Can’t wait to come back.

A different kind of Japanese in Paris! Specialised in “brochettes”, Kushikatsu Bon seems to be the only spot in Paris offering this staple Japanese dish in such a high level of quality. At first when entering, you can feel the professionalism by the greeting of the staff and hotel as well as the table setup and service. The cute pieces on the table are not only beautiful, they also each have a use. You are asked to choose between a two set menus with one having the last skewer chicken, the other being wagyu. I went for the chicken. After a brief intro of the sauces and the chef’s presentation of the raw skewers that will be served, the show starts! Superb amuse-bouche, with amazing salsifi and mushroom. Tofu was not my favorite but was followed by a comforting asparagus and mushroom. Chef continued with seafood skewers including shrimp and fish which were also very nice. A transition happened with a very original potato mini-onigiri (which is more surprising than tasty) that took then the show to another level. The skewers kept on only getting better: a magret de canard skewer as well as a foie gras skewer made flambée, small transition with a super cold noodle soup, then a very juicy chateaubriand steak skewer and a conclusion with a beautiful chicken skewer on a plate with the chef’s personally writing your name with sauce on the plate. The cherry on the top of the cake was the delicious desserts, coming for a not-so-dessert person that I am. Overall, Kushikatsu Bon is definitely a must try in Paris, and also definitely a restaurant that will go places in the future. I was intrigued by watching the chef measure the table setting with a ruler with his staff, and this showed how much attention to detail is spent at this location. What is even better is that after having a set menu full of fried items, you do mot fill bloated or bad at all! On the contrary, you feel like you just went through a very nice typical Japanese experience.

Amazing food experience. All products really fresh and tasty. Nice selection of Sake as well. Service is good with clear explanation and direct contact with Chef. For an authentic Osaka experience.

Google
watching DIRTY DISHES... a fine dining restaurant that is trying to sell the 'sitting in front of counter' cooking experience, but instead of cooking you end up just looking at a build up of pile of dirty dishwear. It's hard to focus on the food. Would NOT RECOMMEND FOR THIS PRICERANGE. The service didn't feel really heartfelt, 2 times they left a cupboard with folder, screwdrivers.. open right in front of us eating.

Yelp
My daughter and I had a perfect evening here tonight. Made a reservation, but it wasn't crowded on a Monday night anyway. It was beautiful food, prepared simply and elegantly, and also delicious. This will be our most expensive meal we splurge on here in Paris, and it was well worth it. The meal is a fixed menu, but they asked at the beginning if we had any food sensitivities or things we don't eat (we told them we would try everything.) The attention to detail with sauces and preparations was gratifying. As they brought out the small bite courses, the server explained what was in the items, and which of the four sauces was recommended. You can tell that some thought goes into each item, such as the foie gras with a slice of eggplant that was perfectly seasoned and had a touch of vinegar or something acidic to complement the rich foie. The server and chef were friendly and personable while being perfectly professional at the same time. As I said, this was an expensive meal for us, but I had canceled a reservation at another restaurant that was said to have a great view of the Eiffel tower, but every review stated that the other place was overpriced for the quality of the food and service. I don't mind spending a little more on a truly exceptional meal, and for us Kushikatsu Bon was just that. Would absolutely return on a future visit if we're lucky enough to come back!

Yelp
We came here for dinner on the last night of our vacation and had a really incredible experience. Great food and attentive and friendly staff. Tasting menu features an array of unique and delightful fried skewers and sauces. Our first time with this type of menu, and would definitely recommend everyone try it at least once. Just make sure you wait for the food to cool enough before scarfing it down in one bite!

Yelp
We were there last night while they had a promotion of €48 per person tasting menu. We ordered a 36cl Saka for €34. We also asked for two tea while eating the different skews very slowly. The skewers were prepared well and tasted quite good but served very slowly. The problem was each portion was very tiny. I was deceived by the pictures posted on Yelp as well as Tripadvisors. The actual size is way smaller than the picture posted. Although there were about a dozen items, I still felt hungry when I left the restaurant. The most surprised charge was €14 for 4 cups of tea. We used to get free tea when having Japanese food in North America and this restaurant charged us €3.5/cup of tea. Yes, the onus is on us as we didn't ask for price before ordering but we should have been told when we asked for refilling. Overall, we spent €144 for two but still hungry when leaving the restaurant. Stay away form this restaurant.
