Kushikatsu Bon

Such a lovely dining experience at Kushikatsu Bon Bon! The food was delicious — perfectly fried kushikatsu, light and crispy, with great flavour throughout. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and well balanced. The vibe of the restaurant is cosy and lively at the same time, making it such a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the evening. What really stood out was the amazing hospitality — the team made us feel so welcome and taken care of. We ended up staying for three hours because we were enjoying ourselves so much. A truly memorable experience — can’t wait to come back!

Overpriced. The meat or fish lunch looks reasonable at 25€ but the tea is 4,5 euro per cup. If you want a refill, you pay again. In the end the bill came to 70€ for two people for a nice bit not so special piece of breaded fish filet for my wife and breaded meat balls for me. Starters are super tiny morsels, desert is a single mochi the size of a walnut. Very nice young Japanese lady serving us, and nice authentic Japanese atmosphere, but too expensive for what it was.

This authentic and refined Japanese restaurant will delight you with its precise preparations of delicious and innovative flavors. We got a special lunch menu which consisted of an array of small delightful plates with tantalizing combinations. Even the small dessert at the end, consisting of a sweet potato mini cake paste with a sweet soy and yuzu tang, was a mini marvel.

Quite a hidden place. A very nice restaurant where you’ll receive authentic Japanese hospitality. The food was absolutely wonderful albeit the wait in between dishes. But if you’re having a friends’ gathering, it gives you time to catch up. They have good wines. Highly recommended for a night out!

The only place in Paris where you can enjoy authentic Japanese *kushikatsu*. Set in a calm and refined atmosphere, you can watch the chef’s expert skills from across the counter as you savor each dish. The pairing with champagne or wine is absolutely perfect, and despite being fried, the food feels light and never too heavy—a true culinary gem.

It was a great experience in Paris! The portion and quality of ingredients everything was perfect! The master takes care each small details, each one of skewers is art, frying, timing to serve food, I felt I am in my home country Japan.

An amazing place with incredible food that is served as a whole experience. Can highly recommend asking for the non-meat variations that are not automatically offered but very delicious. Every single dish had so many unexpected, subtle flavors. Can’t wait to come back.

My daughter and I had a perfect evening here tonight. Made a reservation, but it wasn't crowded on a Monday night anyway. It was beautiful food, prepared simply and elegantly, and also delicious. This will be our most expensive meal we splurge on here in Paris, and it was well worth it. The meal is a fixed menu, but they asked at the beginning if we had any food sensitivities or things we don't eat (we told them we would try everything.) The attention to detail with sauces and preparations was gratifying. As they brought out the small bite courses, the server explained what was in the items, and which of the four sauces was recommended. You can tell that some thought goes into each item, such as the foie gras with a slice of eggplant that was perfectly seasoned and had a touch of vinegar or something acidic to complement the rich foie. The server and chef were friendly and personable while being perfectly professional at the same time. As I said, this was an expensive meal for us, but I had canceled a reservation at another restaurant that was said to have a great view of the Eiffel tower, but every review stated that the other place was overpriced for the quality of the food and service. I don't mind spending a little more on a truly exceptional meal, and for us Kushikatsu Bon was just that. Would absolutely return on a future visit if we're lucky enough to come back!

We came here for dinner on the last night of our vacation and had a really incredible experience. Great food and attentive and friendly staff. Tasting menu features an array of unique and delightful fried skewers and sauces. Our first time with this type of menu, and would definitely recommend everyone try it at least once. Just make sure you wait for the food to cool enough before scarfing it down in one bite!

We were there last night while they had a promotion of €48 per person tasting menu. We ordered a 36cl Saka for €34. We also asked for two tea while eating the different skews very slowly. The skewers were prepared well and tasted quite good but served very slowly. The problem was each portion was very tiny. I was deceived by the pictures posted on Yelp as well as Tripadvisors. The actual size is way smaller than the picture posted. Although there were about a dozen items, I still felt hungry when I left the restaurant. The most surprised charge was €14 for 4 cups of tea. We used to get free tea when having Japanese food in North America and this restaurant charged us €3.5/cup of tea. Yes, the onus is on us as we didn't ask for price before ordering but we should have been told when we asked for refilling. Overall, we spent €144 for two but still hungry when leaving the restaurant. Stay away form this restaurant.
