Kusina Ni Mars - Review - Lakeview - Chicago - The Infatuation
"Kusina Ni Mars is a casual Filipino spot in Lakeview located inside Chicago Sugar Daddy, its sibling bakery. Dishes are served turo turo style, with a variety of ready-to-eat food lined up in steam trays. They also have garlic rice plates with egg and proteins like longanisa or tocino, as well as lechon kawali, sinigang, and pork adobo." - John Ringor
Ordered the beef pares and it tasted just like you would get back in the PH!
They offer different sizes depending how hungry you are. I ordered their biggest size and it lasted me two meals.
We have not tried their silog / breakfast meals yet but will be back to try them!

If you're craving home-cooked Filipino food, you've come to the right place. Flavors are on point for anything I've ordered from here.

Authentic and traditional Filipino food, drinks, and desserts! Sobrang sarap ng ulam, parang luto sa bahay! Will definitely be back

Yelp
The sign says Yes Daddy which is the dessert side. Kus ins no Mars is the take out food part of the business.
As we entered, we immediately saw the Filipino dishes ready to be served! Our server was nice and maybe a little shy. We ordered a few dishes with white rice. Next time I'll try the garlic rice. The dishes were tasty! Please see the pics!
We can't wait for our next visit after this soft launch period.

Yelp
Not enough food!! Was very tasty but for the price should have at least more than 2 sausages, cmon bro this is an epidemic with many restaurants these days. If you want customers to come back you have to fill them up!! This is very basic... very delicious tho.
