Tasty sushi, ramen, and salads! We got the vegan ramen, the Kusshi noodles, and the sashimi salads, and we were incredibly happy about the flavorful and original dish. I had also tried their vegetarian sushi box, and it was delicious mushrooms, pickled radish, and avocado/cucumber rolls. I must say that the service was particularly slow. I admit that we came quite late, an hour before closing, but the server was really not present. We had to go find him twice, once to check on our food and once to ask for the bill. The wait time was a bit excessive when we were only two tables remaining for most of our meal. I personally also find the prices a bit excessive, even for a Kusshi place. We understand that it comes with very good food, but the bill always comes to above 30$ with taxes and tips, no matter what you take.

Might be my new favorite restaurant in DC. Went for lunch and food was great and rally affordable. I was served by Daria who was equally great and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there. Definitely recommend dining in because the atmosphere was really enjoyable and wasn’t crowded so you can have a conversation with someone without having to yell like at most restaurants in DC. The sushi was better then any place I’ve tried in the area and I really thought I got more then what I paid for which is rare in DC

Good sushi. Nice venue, atmosphere could gain if the light were not as bright. Rolls come with a generous amount of sushi and the prices are not bad either! Sake crudo is a great way to start Enjoyed the Seared Spicy salmon, cherry blossom, and ruby. The sunset is good too but is sweet! Delicious Taro Bliss - a liquid desert. Friendly staff - service is fine but not super attentive

Kusshi Glover Park has a huge menu with so many options — honestly, I wanted to try everything. I came with my friend to explore the Kusshi sushi, and we ended up ordering a lot of different dishes. Everything was absolutely delicious. The fish was very fresh, and all the food came out surprisingly fast. The service was amazing too. Terri and Tina were wonderful and so sweet — always attentive and quick to help with anything we needed. They made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend!

Came here for happy hour with my husband and let me tell you, the food was so good. The inside is not super spacious but cozy with enough seating. We ordered the Kusshi Wings and Takoyaki which were only $5-$8 and some sushi I didn’t take pictures of. The prices for happy hour are amazing and there are a good amount of options. I definitely recommend coming for happy hour for good food and affordable prices. Our server was lovely and made our experience here amazing.

Fast and efficient. I usually order via door dash. Doria is nice and will be back for sushi’s happy hour. I usually get a kani crab and shrimp room deep fried. Today I tried the salmon. Really good. Good spicy mayo! Yummy moocchi!! Check it out

Ordered at-home catering for a Valentine’s party and had a great experience. The manager, Darya, was incredibly kind and accommodating when helping me choose the rolls and coordinate pickup. Everything was ready on time, with great presentation. The food was fresh and delicious. My only regret is not getting better photos of the rolls. The lava roll and seared salmon nigiri were heavenly.

Staff are on their phones. Zero sense of urgency. I arrived at 5:30 and stood at the host stand for 5 minutes before anyone even noticed I was there and acknowledged my presence, they're all apparently too busy chit-chatting and staring down at their phones. Meanwhile, there's garbage on the floor, but sitting and staring down at your phone is way more important than doing your job. Needless to say I won't be back.

Glover park is their newest location and I'm so glad I got to try it. Highly recommend the Kusshi Seared Fatty Salmon. It was delicious and melted in my mouth. This kusshi sushi also has more sushi roll options than other locations. I tried both the crazy toro and got beef rolls. * Crazy Toro: This roll was amazing! The o toro on top was incredibly tender, although the menu listed caviar and I got Ikura instead. Still delicious! * Got Beef: The a5 wagyu on the roll was amazing. I liked the seared wagyu on top of the roll more than the katsu. Was very happy that they served a wagyu roll at only $24. Shoutout to Darya, the manager, for providing excellent service. He was super friendly and clearly passionate about both the new restaurant and opening the upstairs bar. The downstairs already has a great vibe with fun posters and sconces. Overall, I had a fantastic experience. Highly recommend Kusshi Sushi Glover Park! Can't wait to see what they do with the upstairs space!

At first I wasn't going to write a review to gatekeep this place but I just had to leave a review. From the outside the restaurant may not look like much but once you step in inside you're just swept away by decor, the ambiance and the immediate greeting from the staff. Had Darya as our server and may have experienced the best service I've ever had in my life. He was welcoming, nice, knowledgeable and recommended some dishes that were amazing! Try the GOT B5/5 will come back!

food was amazing ! i will definitely be back, since they are fairly new they offered us some nigiri on the house 10/10. friendly staff our server had glasses and recommended some appetizers and a roll that was specific to this new location !! the wall decor was very cute and i love the lanterns :D

If only there is 10 stars I can pick. This place is AMAZING. Well you may think my standards are low, believe me they are not. Everything was fantastic. Fish is fresh, taste is authentic, and the service is impeccable. The first day we walked in, we tried the 8+8 combo, excellent. Fatty tuna is how you expect it to be. We had a fun time talking to the owner, a corporate professional with passion for good food. We came back the second night on Mother's Day and ordered the 60pc speed boat. Again a great choice. Manager Darya was kind, knowledgeable and just a delight to talk to. We had a great time and look forward for our return.
