As you may or may not know, I have been on a ramen journey ever since I went to Japan and had the best ramen of my life. After one bowl of ramen in Japan, I determined ramen is my favorite food. I am looking to find my ramen fix now that I am back home and I may have found it!
Kusshi, stand up, so I can give you a round of applause! The hubby and I LOVED our ramen!
When we arrived, a nice lady greeted us and sat us. Our visit was midday on 11/26 and the restaurant was not busy, however it did it appear that there was only one person working the floor, bar and being a runner. We waited awhile and then I asked the person who sat us if we should order from the bar (even though there was no one at the bar), but she said someone would soon attend to us. Shortly after, we were greeted by our server and put it in our orders, I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen with an extra egg and the hubby got the soy sauce ramen.
The hubby's ramen came quite quickly and mine came out about 4 minutes later. The tonkotsu ramen was phenomenal, a deep, buttery and porky broth. The ramen was plentiful, well balanced, the pork was thick and overall everything in this bowl was perfect. The hubby's soy sauce ramen was also delicious, but he felt mine was better - it was.
The reason for four stars: the service was delayed. Our server was nice enough, but perhaps he was too busy. If it weren't for that, this place is easily 5 stars, heck even 6! I can't wait to go back!
