King Tut's Review - Nolensville Pike - Nashville - The Infatuation

"Commercial jingles and extremely epic foods tend to wedge themselves into our brains for weeks. The fried eggplant from King Tut’s, a food truck on Nolensville Pike, is an example of the latter, and we're thrilled to have it occupy our headspace. Get that and some ultra-crispy and herbaceous falafel that’ll become permanent additions to your lunch rotation. This is a window you’ll pull up to again and again, whether you’re eating in the front seat of your car, or hanging out on their wood patio fawning over spice-dusted pickled onions." - Ann Walczak

For me, this was the best tomb I visited. A separate ticket is required, but it’s absolutely worth it. Though the tomb is small, Tutankhamun’s mummy is still preserved in a glass box—making it a truly unique experience. Unlike other tombs, which have no mummies (most are now in the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Cairo, where photography is not allowed), here you are free to take photos or videos as you wish. The tomb is absolutely incredible, not just for its contents but also for its history. It’s fascinating and tragic to learn that two of Tutankhamun’s unborn children were found alongside his mummy during its discovery and that he may have been murdered. This adds a haunting yet captivating dimension to the experience. A must.

One of the most visited tomb at the Valley of Kings in Luxor with an additional ticket of around 15 USD. The paintings and carvings in the walls are pretty well maintained and the mummy also appeared to be in a good position. Highly recommended.

Amazing tomb to visit. The detail of the images on the walls are colorful and very detailed. The tomb is only small and is one of the more expensive tombs to visit but worth it for the history. I didn't realise that Tutankhamun's mummified remains are also still present and visible in an enclosed case until I went in.

This was quite a disappointing experience. I expected to see a beautiful tomb filled with artifacts—perhaps they’d leave at least one intact as an original example of how it might have looked. But no, the walls were completely bare, with only a couple of drawings here and there. In the middle of the empty room, on a pathway, lay a poor, plundered pharaoh covered with just a simple sheet. The huge crowds around only added to the sadness of the scene. Truly a letdown.

The most famous ancient Egyptian king. You need a separate ticket to visit. The tomb is small, but was worth the visit. The mummy of king Tut, and some amazingly beautiful colored drawings on the wall.

It was so pretty, and the colours were very clear. It is smaller and less extensively decorated than other Egyptian royal tombs of its time. The tomb is very famous cause it was one of the only ones found complete and not stolen. Tutankhamen himself doesn't really have any achievements as he died aged 19.

Some say it’s small, not worth the money – it might be true for the people not interested in the history and the tombs, otherwise the tomb is magical, the paintings beautiful and Tutankhamen mummy lies in a glass box exactly where it should be – in the tomb. Please note that a separate ticket is required to enter Tutankhamun’s tomb and it has to be purchased at the ticket office (there is no possibility to pay by the entrance).

A little disappointed. Had to pay extra to visit the tomb of Tutankhamen but not as much to see as other tombs within the Valley of the Kings
