Tried the fish soup here for the 1st time, at 1st glance thought serving was small, but after trying, wow really good, fish is definitely fresh, soup is sweet and flavourful, don't rush to add and soya sauce before you sip it, try original before adding anything except for the pepper that they added. Really good, $6 will not be enough. Recommended.

Their fish soup is alright. I've had better ones elsewhere, but this is good enough for my taste buds, just not outstandingly blowing my mind away. Fish is fresh, but not entirely sure if the soup is done from scratch or otherwise. My biggest issue was how the portions were quite small for what they were charging. No extra tofu or tomato of sorts, so it was only fish slices and some vegetables.

Average fish soup served with a side of attitude from aunty taking orders. Undoubtedly the Batang fish used was fresh, but soup base is normal. You will need to order minimally an $8 portion of slice fish soup to feel satisfied unless you are a tiny eater.

This is the perfect example of why the Michelin guide cannot be trusted. The fish soup tasted very average. Fish were fresh but the quantity was meagre at $7-three thin slices and maybe five chunks of fried fish.

Food: Ordered the sliced fish porridge. Soup is nice and fish is fresh Service: Normal Atmosphere: The stall is located in the hawker. Many crows and pigeons are waiting around the area to snipe the leftover food

Tried their sliced fish porridge since I was craving for soup. Soup was not bad. Could be saltier. Fish was ok, did not have any fishy smell but I had silly ones before. What I do like is that they give a lot of chili which is good for those who love chili.

Bought $6.50 fish heard noodle, added $2 for the fish egg, the hawker was very careful, he boiled the egg first and threw away the water then add in new water, that cleaned cleared the smell.. the soup taste nice 👍 Hope the stall can consider selling fresh fish head instead of fried in future, since they are Michelin 2021-2023

The fish is outstanding - big slices cut expertly to preserve the mackerel oils, they melt in your mouth with layers of fragrant oils in between. Everything else - like the soup and lettuce - is soso, but the fish is definitely worth returning for.
