Kwench Juice Cafe

Smoothies/juices are perfect any time of the day. We were visiting Detroit for the first time in February and were fortunate to find this shop a few short blocks from our hotel - Westin Book Cadillac Hotel. The shop is located on the first floor of the historic Dime building/Chrysler House. We were greeted and served by the owner- Steven. He gave great suggestions and we ended up with the Evolution smoothie and Cacao bowl w/açaí base. We also grabbed some of the energy bites to go from the case. Everything tasted so good!!! So refreshing and delicious!! It was closed today Sunday, but we will definitely return tomorrow morning before heading back to the airport. Thank you again to you and your wife for bringing a little of taste of the island to the big city. 🏝️Looking forward to visiting again upon our return.

This place is owned by a husband/wife and its super nice in there and they seem very sweet! I got a smoothie and a smoothie bowl, they are both delicious!!!

If you’re looking for something with pure ingredients, fresh, delicious, and refreshing, this is the place! It took a little time for our order and was a little higher in price but that’s to be expected with good ingredients. I got the smoothie bowl and it was perfect! Better than I expected and hit the spot wonderfully on a hot day. Plus, it was filling!

Perfect morning fix for me while out of town. The owners are super personable and explained everything to us. There are so many juice, smoothie and breakfast bowl options to choose from and they were patient while we decided. I got the Jungle juice and my boyfriend got the Old Fashion smoothie. Both 10/10! Black owned so that’s always a plus for me!

The acai bowl we had was delicious. Just what we were looking for to get our fix here in downtown. We ordered the Berry Gordy acai bowl with goji berries, blueberries, coconut milk, and almond butter. Fyi--this place is different from other acai places I've been to---they blended the nut butter into the base and put the granola on top of the bowl. I think I'd prefer the nut butter separate and the granola at the bottom, but this doesn't warrant one less star.

I ABSOLUTELY love this place so much! I purchased everything that I could physically carry. Truly this place is a full sent blessing. So much love to the crew for all that they do! Many hugs! Shout out to Steve and his wife for an amazing business !!! #Veggies! #Frutas Thank You techno city!!!

The owner is very friendly and goes above and beyond. The smoothies are delicious!:) stop by for a yummy treat and excellent service!

Update: I love this place! I've tried the Namaste and Wonderland. Perfect substitute for any meal. $10 for a large smoothie is not a bad price for a healthy alternative. Kwench is a much needed spot in downtown Detroit. Finding a great smoothie is hard to do. I'm so happy they're within walking distance. My first visit I tried a Namaste smoothie. Yum! Second visit I tried a Cacao Fix. Yummy! This chocolate treat is the perfect chocolate fix for a chocolate lover such as myself. The location is cute and colorful. The staff is friendly and fast. The only reason why I didn't give a 5 star rating is because paying almost $10 for a smoothie is steep. It's a treat I'll have to partake in every now and then.

I was craving something sweet, but healthy after brunch and ran into Kwench. The girls were very helpful in choosing a smoothie. I greatly appreciate how all the ingredients are FRESH and made on the spot (rather than having them frozen like most are smoothie places). You're getting the maximum benefit here. It's on the pricier side, but this is downtown Detroit and you're getting quality ingredients, which makes it worth it in my opinion. If something can be added to make it a little bit sweeter like honey or something along those lines, it would take it up a whole other level. Overall, great place and nice ambiance.

I got a tropical infusion and it was everything I had hoped for and more. We were waiting for our table at the Dime store and Steve, the proprietor, walked by asking if we would like any beverages. After thinking about it we decided to jump in with some smoothies and I was pleasantly surprised. Some of the best smoothies I have had. Very fresh. I can taste the oranges they used. Highly recommend.

Customer service is A-MA-ZING! My friend and I came here for a couple of freshly made smoothies and they were so delicious! The owner and staff are passionate about what they do and you can feel that in what they deliver! 10/10!
