I like this place for it's lunch time all you can eat option. The options are pretty open and you can order large amounts (recommended) each round. I like Nigiri selections and everything I've had has been very fresh and tasty. Only ding is that service can be a little slow during the rush so always plan to order heavy and again when before you finish each plate so you're not waiting for the next round.

We had buffet. Plenty of food and quality was pretty good. The service was good as well and the waitress was very friendly. It did not take too long for food to be served although it was kind of busy on Saturday night. The salmon skin salad was a great dish and special. And the ice cream dessert is awesome.

Although the sushi may not be the freshest, for the price and amount of food you get, this is a great deal! All you can eat for $20 lunch and $30 for dinner are pretty good prices. They also have decent happy hour times! The bonus is the playlist they use has never missed the times I have gone! It is in a shopping strip so there is a lot of parking!

I’ve been here three times now. Every time I’ve ordered the AYCE option and it never disappoints. Everyone I’ve brought here has commented about how good it is. Love the variety of the menu and getting smaller portions of hot appetizers like shumai and gyoza, hibachi beef, plus sushi. Service is always friendly, food is delivered fresh and hot. Weekday lunch is an especially good deal.

Google
So glad we tried this place! All you can eat for $31.95 can't be beat. The sushi and sashimi are fresh and you get nice pieces of COLD fish. The service was prompt and kind and our server make great roll recommendations. The tempura was a little heavy for my liking however there's so much else to choose from I didn't miss it at all. I will be back and strongly encourage you to stop by🙏

Absolutely Worth It – Fresh Food, Great Service, and Incredible Value This place is an absolute gem. The all-you-can-eat option is just $25 per person, and it’s worth every penny. We ordered five servings of the pepper tuna – hands down the best dish we’ve had here. The quality of the food is impressive, especially the fish, which is incredibly fresh. As someone who grew up on an island, I know what fresh seafood should taste like, and this place delivers. Our server, Ivy, was exceptional. She was attentive, quick, and genuinely helpful throughout our meal. One of the best servers I’ve ever encountered. The experience is well-paced too – you get a generous 2-hour window to enjoy as many dishes as you’d like. I tried at least 12 different items, along with two scoops of ice cream. Don’t skip the red bean ice cream – it’s top-notch. If you’re looking for quality, variety, and great service at a great price, this spot is absolutely worth checking out.

We visited as a group today. They were very friendly even during busy times, and especially the really fresh sashimi and sushi satisfied us all 100% and The appetizers were all impressed. Thank you for the friendly service for us.

Google
Kyoka in Round Rock is one of the best all-you-can-eat sushi spot I've tried so far, totally worth it!!! We loved everything we tried, great vibes, great food, great service, and great presentation of food! I’ll definitely be back.

Yelp
Came in before the dinner rush on a weeknight. The service (Rachel was my waitress) was fantastic, and the restaurant was very clean. Server was very helpful and explained everything well. The food tasted awesome, and was cooked perfectly. Ordered beef teriyaki and it was great. Presentation was nice too, if you're into that Great place for dinner. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
I enjoyed my meal here. I didn't do the AYCE because I wasn't that hungry. the sushi was good but it tasted like the rice or salmon was previously frozen. delicious fried rice which a great amount of shrimp. the only issues I have with this restaurant is cosmetic and cleanliness. The restroom wasn't the cleanest + I saw in the review that this restaurant is fairly new. there were some damage to the table and seats which were a bit odd. and my soy sauce bowl had water spots. overall, it was good and satisfied the craving I had without going into the city.

Yelp
Update: Management explained that the price increase is because now drinks are included, which I suppose is fair and not just a straight increase. I appreciate that they took the time to explain! Their fish is fresh and rolls are good, but their fried dishes are interesting and not in a good way. The $20 AYCE lunch price went up by $4 in less than half a year from opening, and that's just crazy in such a short time period. Will still be back but muuuuuch less because of the updated price when there are buffets with better variety at similar price points.

Yelp
Really happy to find this place. We stopped in to try their lunch "all you can eat" menu and ended up pleasantly surprised that the selection! I started with the Miso soup, which was very tasty and nice and hot. I then had the crispy calamari, which was very tasty in the sweet and sour sauce. For my sushi I ordered a spicy tuna roll plate (8 rolls) that my partner shared with me. My partner ordered the Dragon roll (8 pieces) and the Rainbow roll (8 pieces). Everything was really good, came out pretty fast and our wait person was very helpful to these first timers. We finished with red bean ice cream (azuki beans) and that was also very yummy. For $23.95 pp, it was worth having so many menu items to choose from and we chose well because we liked everything we had! Will be back again!

Yelp
I visited this all-you-can-eat sushi spot for lunch, and it was a great experience! When we arrived, there were just a few other tables, but it started getting busier as we ate. A word of advice: make sure to order any additional food while you're still eating since it did take a bit to get food. The service was excellent--our server was not only attentive but also super helpful, even pointing out what the table next to us was having because it looked so good. And they were right; everything was delicious. I definitely got my money's worth of sushi and left feeling full and satisfied. I'll be back for sure.

Yelp
Delicious AYCE sushi restaurant in Round Rock!!! They have a great variety of special rolls. Appetizers and other options like teriyaki, fried rice/udon are served in a small portion which make them perfect to try a little bit of everything without being overly full and no room for sushi. The thing that sets this place apart from other AYCE sushi spots is that nigiri is included in the lunch price. Special rolls: we got Volcano, Austin, Kyoka, Shaggy Dog, Tiger Eye, and 911 Roll. They're all 5/5!! The ones are wrapped in soy paper are very good. Some other basic rolls like salmon roll and Alaska roll are ok. Appetizers and others: - Seaweed salad is refreshing and cleans your palate from rounds of sushi. - Crab Rangoons are fresh out of the fryer - they're crispy, creamy, and make you even happier when dipping the crispy wonton wrapper in their sweet and sour sauce. - Crispy calamari: It's meh. The calamari looks stale inside, the crunchy coat just masks it. - Miso soup: Good, nothing very special about it. - Tuna tataki and peppered tuna: refreshing and flavorful. Dessert: they only offer ice cream with a few different flavors. Red bean ice cream tastes nothing like red bean, it tastes just like vanilla ice cream..lol. There're a couple of red beans inside and they don't taste like red bean at all, which is funny. However, it's totally fine because their main stuff is good, we're not here for the dessert. Service: Our server is very nice and very attentive. She fills our water when it's 2/3 down. She even remembers our order preferences on some rolls when we repeat some the second time. The restaurant is clean, bright, nicely decorated, has good sound system and plays good songs. This is located in the shopping center next to H‑E‑B, located next to Pita Fusion, so there're plenty of parking spots. We're very happy with Kyoka and we'll surely be back!

Yelp
What a steal!! $20/person for lunch with 2 hours limit!! Highly recommend the Austin roll (deep fried) and Kyoka roll (soy paper). Good amount of filling and not too much rice. There basic rolls (I got salmon and alaska rolls) were alright. Raw salmon is not the freshest there so don't really recommend. Crab rangoon was fun to eat. And the steak teriyaki is actually pretty good. I like that they come out in small portions and quick too so we can try many things. Nigiri sushi was ok. Eel was good. But a little bit too much rice for the ratio. Now, I do want you to set your expectations right. It's $20 AYCE! It means there are some things that will not be top notch in taste or quality but they nail the important things right! Spacious restaurant which I love. Nice and bright. It is a little chilly in there at first. Our server is very sweet. Attentive and even remember our preference for the order!

Yelp
A few friends and I came in for some sushi. Weekend price is same as dinner which is 29.99 per adult for AYCE- what a steal. Lunch menu is 19.99 per person. Very modern decor through out. Full bar available. -They have happy hour all day on the weekends so that's a plus! I love the iced sake decanters that they have! All of the rolls were pretty good, but the king tuna roll was my favorite! We did notice a lot of the rolls had the same combinations so that's one thing I would recommend is throwing some different ingredients like cilantro, crunch onion/garlic, maybe mushrooms somewhere. Also hot oil would be a great option to add& Maybe a spicy edemame. The menu left out some descriptions on a few appetizer items - for example : the shumai which I've always known to be shrimp - the staff said it was actually chicken here which made it hard for a pescatarian to know which items were within the dietary restrictions but not a big deal as the staff had answers for everything. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive to our table and even interacted with the child in our party which was great. Food overall I'd say a 4.5 some things not as great as others. Veggie udon noodles -5/5 soooo flavor full King tuna roll-5/5 Fox lady roll -4/5 Kiss on fire -3.5 /5 Hawaiian 4/5 Peppered tuna-5/5 White tuna sushi-5/5 Calamari-2.5/5 Lychee sake- 5/5

Yelp
We stopped in to check if they were open and it was their first official day open (7/11)! We were able to find a seat right away for the two of us right at lunchtime (12PM). The restaurant was fairly full at the time and we had to wait to get our drinks and food orders in as the servers were quite busy with the lunch crowd. Our food took a bit of time to arrive and 3/4 of the sushi rolls we ordered off the lunch AYCE menu came at the same time on separate plates. By the time the server came back around we'd nearly finished all 4 rolls and placed our next order and had to wait around for those to be made (they also all came out at the same time but this time on the same larger platter). We were not given dishes for soy sauce (bottles are on the table - both regular and low sodium). Wasabi and ginger are on each of the sushi serving plates. Our appetizer came out piping hot and very fresh. I've never had such good and fresh crab Rangoons but be warned they didn't have much crab inside and tasted more like fried cheesecake desserts than crab Rangoons. If you're not a crab fan and like savory/sweet dishes you'll love them but if you expect to taste the crab you will be disappointed. We ordered a Japanese soda (the trick to opening the bottle is to take the plastic cap off and then break it into two pieces by pressing the middle off the outside so you can use that piece to push on the top of the bottle). I wish the server had helped us open the bottle because the instructions on the bottle weren't making sense and we had to watch another table open theirs to understand how to open the soda. The sushi was plentiful, delicious, and fresh. We ordered a total of 8 special rolls: Tiger Eye, Volcano, Austin Roll, Dragon Roll, Shaggy Dog, Rainbow Roll, Orange Dragon, and Crazy California. Our favorite was the Dragon roll - so good! The spicy tuna wasn't spicy and was a little bland in flavor. The price for the AYCE is amazing for such good quality sushi ($19.95 for adults currently).

Yelp
We came in while the restaurant was still offering a 15% discount for their soft opening but felt that the food was worth the original price anyway. One of the biggest pluses was they offer nigiri during lunch and sashimi during dinner so I felt less bloated eating simpler ingredients and not filling up on rice and other carbs. Compared to Sushi Junai, the menu is a bit smaller but I was happy with the selection they had. The shrimp tempura stood out to us as it was super crispy and fluffy. The presentation of the food was pretty nice and our waitress was friendly and checked up on us often. Our food came out quickly but my partner came in separately and said they had to wait a bit despite there not being many other customers. He also ordered a roll I had also ordered and it looked quite different. This restaurant is still new so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that they're still figuring out their operations. But I had a good experience and would come try it again.

Yelp
Excellent place for all you can eat. We drove from south for my friend birthday, and it was so worth it. Everything amazingly fresh, huge manu. I am a foody and I give them 5 stars. I will be back

Yelp
This was SO GOOD! I was absolutely starving at lunch & craving sushi. Been meaning to try Kyoka & I am so glad I did. I ordered the sunflower roll & the shaggy dog.. I believe the sunflower may be in my top 5 fave sushi rolls I've ever had. I got it with the spicy mayo on the side & it was so good even without that. My food was ready right on time & the host greeted me & quickly handed me my food. I didn't get much of a chance to check out the interior but there was plenty of seating & seemed very clean. I will certainly be back!

Yelp
I enjoy the time here because staff was friendly, food came out quickly, although it was pretty empty when I went, and very reasonably priced. For $30 at dinner you can get all you can eat, which also includes sashimi, which is pretty unheard of in the Austin area. The flavor of the food was good and the texture of the sushi rice was great. This sashimi also didn't taste really low quality either, which is usually a complaint at these type of restaurants. Honestly, my favorite thing was the temperature shrimp because it was so crispy and fried to perfection. I also really enjoyed the eel. Although the restaurant is a bit of a drive for me, I would definitely come back.

Yelp
This place was so amazing! We took my sister here for her birthday. From the moment we walked in the door, the staff members were SUPER friendly. The restaurant was very clean and inviting. And the food was delicioso!! Had a table of about 10 people and not one complaint about any of our food. We decided not to do All You Can Eat and got regular dinner plates and appetizers. I would recommend this restaurant to any and everyone.

Yelp
New all you can eat sushi in town and the lunch price is really hard to beat. Like really, given food prices these days, it's a steal if you're able to eat your moneys worth. Service is actually pretty quick on a weekday. You get a two hour time limit but no limit to the rounds of sushi you can order so you can go at a pretty leisurely pace to see how full you'll be without over ordering. All that said, the sushi itself is a ok. Not mind blowing but fresh enough and they don't skimp on the fish. The rice ratio is actually perfect. The rolls aren't huge either, so you can definitely try a few with a group. The rainbow roll and orange dragon were our favorites. Also included in the lunch price is nigiri, which is amazing. We got red snapper, tuna, salmon and smoked salmon, of which the smoked salmon was the favorite with its salty, smoky fatty taste. The red snapper is firm but was definitely the fishiest of the bunch. Other food is very ok - seaweed salad is a good palate cleanser, tempura shrimp is good fried shrimp but I wouldn't call it tempura (panko crust). Shumai is a hard pass. The ice creams are all good to end the meal. All in all, if you want ayce and don't want to break the bank, get here asap. It's definitely a step up from your normal buffet sushi but not quite as refined as some of the other ayce places in town but can't complain about the price for sure.

Yelp
Food was good and prices were very reasonable. Favorite roll was the Tiger Eye. Took one star off for service. They have All You Can Eat for $24.95 until 4:30pm. Kids 3 and under eat free.

Yelp
Sitting here in Kyoka for the first time. Very interesting Tokyo style decor with flashy lights, extremely clean marble sushi bar with the highest quality fish that I have tasted since I moved here to Austin in 1994. Full bar, as well as beers on tap. If you remember the fact that you need to order from a waitress while sitting at the sushi bar because the sushi chef doesn't speak English, the rest is like any other Sushi bar, except the fish is the highest quality fish that I have tasted. I've been offshore fishing for 15 years and I can tell you, this fish is FRESH. Five stars.
google avatar

Jasmine J.

Yelp
My friend and I dined in for all you can eat dinner. Service was kind, and we were given suggestions on dishes. The hibachi shrimp and hibachi steak were tasty! The sushi quality isn't top tier but decent considering it is part of an all you can eat option. The restaurant is clean and open concept. The music was nostalgic, mostly 2000s hits and there are TVs around to watch sports or other entertainment. I'd visit here again for happy hour and try the regular dinner menu as well.

Yelp
Third visit and we always leave this place with a smile and full. Staff are friendly and food is good and staff are amazing. We'll definitely come back and highly recommended.

Yelp
We have been excited to try Kyoka Sushi Bar & Grill ever since we saw the Opening Soon sign. We have eaten at several all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants over the years from Las Vegas to San Francisco to Florida to right here locally at Sushi Junai. Overall, it was a very good first experience at Kyoka. When we arrived we were told there was about a 20 minute wait for a table for 2. That's understandable since it's not a huge restaurant and it looked like every table was full. However, they did not have a pager or text notification system to let you know when your table is ready, so we waited in the small waiting area which is just a few chairs up against one wall. There is a bar that looked very nice and we probably could have waited for the table there, but we weren't drinking and didn't want to take up bar seats. Once we sat down at our table the service was excellent. Our server was able to answer some questions we had about the menu. We received everything we ordered and all of it came out pretty quickly. No complaints at all about the service. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. We liked the all-you-can-eat menu selections but there were a few things we've had at other places that we didn't find on Kyoka's menu, such as agedashi tofu and salmon collar. We ordered several different appetizers and rolls. The appetizers were somewhat hit-or-miss. We liked the tempura shrimp, pepper tuna, salmon skin salad, and spring rolls. The calamari was a little disappointing. The rolls were good as well and some were better than others. They had a few unique rolls I haven't seen elsewhere but overall they were good but not great. The presentation was fantastic though! I would definitely come back to Kyoka, especially since it is right down the street from our house and the price is just a little cheaper than the other all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant we like.

Miguel N.

Yelp
Food and atmosphere is always top notch . When you visit please ask for jia , Leanna , or yuni they will give you exceptional service .!! You can catch me here for happy hour specials

Kimberly S.

Yelp
Friendly service, food came out very quick. Menu is somewhat limited compared to other sushi acye location, but to be fair, this place is waaaayyy more affordable than most sushi places. If you don't really eat much of raw fish, and you're more a California roll, cream cheese kind of sushi person, this place is great, or someone new to trying sushi. Great option for non sushi eaters and kids. I Highly recommend this place
google avatar

Racheal B.

Yelp
Calamari was unfortunately chicken fried and pretty horrible. (Inedible). The rest was generally kinda okay-ish, not offensively bad but nothing good enough to come back for unfortunately.
google avatar

Sammy C.

Yelp
A good AYCE sushi addition to the Austin area. It's Chinese owned so IYKYK. Currently $30/person for adults as of July 2024. Been here twice and pretty much the same experience.

Blakely Y.

Yelp
Third time coming here and the food has only gotten better. Everything is so good and the fish was fresh. The rolls were flavorful and didn't have too much rice, just the perfect amount. Service was wonderful as well. Keep up the good work!
google avatar

Kyle G.

Yelp
Food was bland, service was slow, hence the 2 hour limit. Place was a little dusty. Won't be coming back
google avatar

Path W.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place since I'm a big sushi lover, but just as most all-you-can-eat buffets quality of food is not up to par this one falls in that category. We went during lunch and the place was packed. We ordered the Dragon Roll, Rainbow Roll, and one the waitress recommended as well as miso soup and seaweed salad. The miso soup was the only item that was good. The rolls came out looking like they were rushed when making them. The quality of the fish is below average. I'd gladly pay $35-$45 pp for a sushi buffet if the quality was better but at $19.99 (lunch) don't expect melt in your mouth sushi. Maybe the other non sushi Japanese dishes would be worth it at that price but I'm too disappointed to give this restaurant a second try.
google avatar

Diane N.

Yelp
This place is DELICIOUS! Mike and I just did the $19.99 All You Can Eat lunch and had Edamame, harumaki (spring rolls), tiger eye, volcano, Austin roll, shaggy dog, 911, Philadelphia rolls! The frozen margaritas are amazing but the rocks one not so good (sour) but when stated that they immediately remade one a bit sweeter! Whole bill with generous tip for JILY was $75. We are so full now and looking forward to going back again soon
google avatar

Briana C.

Yelp
Kyoka is AMAZING!!! i always have the most amazing sever ask for Leanna and you will not regret it! Best service I've ever had. She's the sweetest person. 10/10 service!!! Happy hour till close and food is outstanding
google avatar

Phil D.

Yelp
Place was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Sushi was bland and not fresh sashimi was like rubber service was SUPER slow . This place will not be in business for long. I'm glad we didn't get sick that's how bad it was. Good riddance

Meg B.

Yelp
We tried Kyoka for the first time this evening and it was great! Friendly and attentive service, quality food, super clean and lots of tvs to watch the football games. We really liked the orange dragon roll, hibachi shrimp, and austin roll. AYCE special is a great value! Will definitely be back!

Niiki A.

Yelp
I would definitely come back and get the all you can eat. It is really worth it. Staff is friendly. Place is clean. The cocktails are good. I give all stars.

Sandra H.

Yelp
Great tasting food. Quick service and friendly staff. I highly recommend for sushi lovers.

Emilio G.

Yelp
Just tired out this new restaurant. Happy hour until close !! Good music and atmosphere. Ask for Candy or Leanna as a server when you come in to dine .

Amanda F.

Yelp
Came to Round Rock for husbands work. We were looking for a good sushi spot so we visited Kyoka sushi and they did not disappoint! Food was amazing. The service was great from the moment we walked in. Atmosphere was an inviting setting. We will definitely go back

Chloe P.

Yelp
First time here and we were very impressed! Prompt friendly service & the food & drinks were all so delicious! The sushi was so fresh tasting and I love the portion sizes for the rice udon and other appetizers. Definitely a new go to spot for all you can eat sushi!

Megan S.

Yelp
Food was delicious, service was slow but the restaurant is new so I'm sure it will improve over time. Only complaint would be that we were sat at a high top booth and they only had high chairs (that didn't reach the table), and they didn't have any boosters.

Karla N.

Yelp
First time here and it was absolutely amazing! Love the environment and friendly service. I did the AYCE and everything I order was super yummy. Definitely going to be my go to for sushi, no more driving into Austin.

Shelly W.

Yelp
Fresh sushi , nice stuff, clean and new , worth to try out , waitress come to table and check for us , good service
