The 15 Best Restaurants in Menlo Park - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"At this sleek, contemporary sushi bar, the high-quality fish is pristine—think buttery hamachi, silky salmon, and ocean-bright uni. If you’re in the mood for rolls, the Kyosho Special—stuffed with spicy tuna, crab, and shrimp tempura and topped with avocado and unagi—is a crowd-pleaser. The spicy scallop roll is rich and briny with just enough kick, and the chicken katsu curry is satisfyingly crispy.  The dark wood, low lighting, and large black curtains create a welcome sense of calm—perfect for a solo sushi fix." - gabi moskowitz

Very nice and cosy interior for a Japanese restaurant. Had the salmon roll with avocado which had yuzu sauce. This was nice and light and is recommended. The tempura udon was a sizeable dish. However, the udon soup was too salty. Overall a nice place for dinner.

Loved the whole dining experience. The Omakase Nigiri started with a Prawn Miso Soup, followed by fresh and well-prepared sushi. We had two rolls together with a bottle of warm Sake as well.

Chefs inside really understand what is a good Japanese food. The mustard is freshly ground, and the soy sauce is also specially added with sake and whiskey. But in fact, the sushi and sashimi produced by the chef have been seasoned and slightly added with mustard, so they can be eaten directly, and they are super delicious. Unlike other popular Japanese restaurants, many of its dishes are exclusively created. What you think is eel rice is actually eel clay pot rice, juicy, and there is also burnt rice! Can you believe that ordinary edamame is actually scooped with truffles? Even sea urchins, I ate three different ways in one meal. Every taste is top-notch. Simple wagyu udon, in fact, every grain of wagyu is the essence, crispy on the outside and has the delicate and juicy taste of wagyu itself. According to the chef, each piece of wagyu has Japanese birth certificate to ensure the authenticity of the source, and I am too lazy to count how many A's there are. The soup base is also homemade pork bone soup, and no pre-made soup bags are used.

Google
I recently visited Kyosho for lunch, and while the sushi rolls were pretty good, I was disappointed by the sashimi and nigiri, which lacked freshness. Surprisingly, the restaurant was completely empty, which made the rushed service even more odd. The server seemed eager to bring our check, making the experience feel unwelcoming. Unfortunately, to top it off, I ended up with a stomach ache after the meal. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Kyosho based on my experience—there are better options out there for sushi.

Google
A small little high class Sushi place. You feel like I'm Tokyo in a Sushi bar. The quality is great and the lady in the service is very friendly and gave us the right direction to order the best things for us. We will be back for sure. Even the price is really good. We paid $95 for 2 rolls, 1 salmon dish, 2 miso soups, edamame and tea for both of us.

I made a reservation here for a team dinner and the service was very good. The food itself was pretty good (not mind blowing), the vibes were good, and the servers were very nice and accommodating. Always proactive in refilling tea and water. Very nicely offered an extra scallop in our appetizer since we had 7 people and there would it be 6 pieces in 2 orders. Omakase was not super expensive but was good. She explained each of the fish to us and it was placed in a recommended eating order from light to rich. Also ordered a few rolls and my favorites were the dragon and crazy rolls. Toro sashimi was good too. Overall definitely a good place for team dinners since the company is paying anyway.

Google
A bit heavy on sauce/ seasoning with A5 wayu dinner plate. The nigiri premium is pretty good. Good place for casual dining. The decor in house is absolutely charming. However, one thing I'd like to mention is that I love the artwork carving out "Kyosho" on the wall with the light shining through it. However, I would recommend considering laser cutting for a cleaner finish, it is hard to unsee those rough edges when paying close attention to decor details.

Google
I liked this Japanese place 🌸. Everything was absolutely fresh and tasty. I enjoyed a delicious Nigiri Combination, and my husband had the Salmon Misoyaki. The only small issue for my husband was the portion size, which was about half of the regular amount. 😋

Yelp
Came across this spot while exploring downtown Menlo Park. And we decided to try and dine in. The place is the cutest with a chill vibe to it. The host/server was quick to accommodate and guided us to our table. She offered us the menu and I was delighted to see many options to choose from and it was nice to see pictures on them. Elected to try a couple of things and didn't wait long to be served. The sashimi and sushi tasted really fresh and delicious. My main entree sea bass was baked to perfection too. Everything tasted so good. Enjoyes our meal and I'd love to return and try other few things on their menu for next time.

Yelp
Came to celebrate a birthday here two weeks ago and they were closed during posted open hours. Very odd. Website said nothing about a closure. Others arrived and tried the locked door. My wife called the number and someone answered in a gruff voice and said they would be open July 8. It's July 18 and nothing. At least the website has been taken down. I don't know why businesses can't do simple communication.

Yelp
Grabbed sushi here for lunch and it was really delicious. I was able to find parking across the street and walk over. The prices were reasonable and everything tasted fresh. I ordered the chef's nigiri and it came with a small hand roll. The presentation of the fish was very clean, delicate, and overall well done. The miso soup that I had was perfect for the weather that day. My server was attentive and took phone orders at the same time. I never felt neglected. I was surprised to find such a great restaurant all to myself. Overall, I will be returning for dinner as well.

Yelp
This is Japanese restaurant but is not authentic at all. *Sashimi was cut the way too thick. *tonkatsu was totally wrong, they don't use bread crumble but tempura butter. This is definitely disappointing. *A waitress is very rude. When we walked in, she showed our seats with her chin. And It's very pricy, no reason to go back.

Yelp
Visited for lunch on a Friday and it wasn't busy. I ordered the Kyosho Gold Box and had to share my sashimi with my dining mate. The food was great. California roll was fresh and went down smoothly. I loved the unagi and chicken katsu. Servers were nice and food came out quick. This is a place that is quite small on the outside but inside it feels cozy and not squished.

Yelp
My fav hidden gems in Bay Area for good-quality nigiri and sashimi! Price is very reasonable, most of sushi places are too overpriced in sf. Highly recommend this place! Some Bay Area celebrities have been here too!
google avatar

Yeremia J.

Yelp
All the dishes are just rice, rice, and rice w/a couple pieces of meat. Dishes were good, but good enough to match the price of each dish. I wouldn't recommend if you're eating because you're hungry. You will spend $150 for 2 people and still walk out hungry.

Yelp
***update*** After my partner posted the review, I got so many phone calls from the restaurants and many no caller id calls at 5am in the morning. That's just insane! Stop harassing customers! ----------- I called to place a take out lunch order on Wednesday. Before I called, I saw a "lunch menu" picture on yelp posted long time ago. I asked the lady over phone if they still have the lunch menu. She said we never had lunch menu. I repeated that I saw the picture on yelp. She said we never had it but we can do it now which confused me. But regardless, I ordered sashimi lunch, nigiri lunch and crazy rolls. She told me she would call me when my food is ready. The ordering experience was okay even though she was kinda impatient. When I got to the restaurant, no customer there. I told the lady (I think same lady who took my order) I'm here to pick up. She looked at me a little annoyed and said your food is not ready yet. I know you haven't called me so of course it's not ready yet. But doesn't mean I can come in and let you know I'm here and wait for my food at the restaurant. The vibe was dry. I was kinda awkward. And when my food was ready, I asked me extra ginger, wasabi and soy sauce. She didn't let me finished my request and said with annoyed face:"it's all in the bag already". Alright. Calm down. I took my bag and left. While my partner was driving, I open the bag and want to eat my food. And guess what, no soy sauce! Not a single packet! Oh I was so annoyed! Because of her attitude, it already negatively affected my anticipation to my lunch. And the missing sauce just took it to a different level. The lunch is not cheap, especially with the small portion. At least you can provide a good service. No! We had to u-turn and went back and parked and asked for soy sauce! When I went back, she didn't even apologize and she only wanted to give me two packets. We could have a great lunch and possibly become regulars. But now you just lost two customers forever.

Yelp
Amazing little sushi joint in Menlo Park. Everything I had was delicious! It's a small restaurant with seating for about 24 with a sushi bar that seats 4. The toro trio was phenomenal as was the edamame with truffle salt. Also recommend The hamachi crudo & A5 wagyu tatami.

Yelp
My original review was reported, so here it is again. Why am I bothering to rewrite it? Because after leaving a 1-star review, I received three calls from the restaurant and over ten "No Caller ID" calls--some as early as 5 a.m. This behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I'm currently traveling, but if this harassment continues, I may consider legal action when I return. I stand by my review. I wasn't initially planning to post on Google, but after the restaurant's hostile response--most likely from someone named Tina--I will be sharing my experience there as well. Here's what happened: I went for a quick lunch and placed a phone order with Tina, the woman with yellow hair. She was rude, answering the phone with a simple "Hello" and then hanging up abruptly without any proper etiquette. When we picked up our order, everything seemed fine until Tina started providing terrible service. We asked for soy sauce, and she insisted it was already in the bag--it wasn't. This forced us to turn around and return to the restaurant. There was no apology for the inconvenience--just poor customer service all around. No one wants to deal with your miserable behavior!

Daniel R.

Yelp
I have not eaten there, but two different people from my company went there with groups of 6 and 7 people and were not told that a 20% "Service Fee" was included. They were given the payment machine and prompted for gratuity as usual, resulting in a the staff getting more than 40% tip. I would point this out to the waiter/waitress if you go there and ask them not to double charge you on tip.

Yelp
Astonishingly good sushi in a very intimate and architectural interesting environment. The sashimi was melt in your mouth. Beautifully cut, just the right size, and elegantly served. I absolutely will come back here, worth the trip from North of 92. Great spot!

Yelp
Amazing food, very fresh sashimi, it a must have! My kids and I loved the A5 Wagyu Beef Udon! It's the best Udon that we ever had! Great service ! And comfortable seats!

Yelp
Omakase is amazing, fish is fresh and the fish to rice ratio is perfect. Black sesame cheesecake is stale

Yelp
Such a hidden gem in Menlo Park! Fresh ingredients and friendly staff! My husband and I ordered the following: 1. Kyosho roll ($22) - lobster salad, fatty tuna, cucumber, avocado, sweet potato, and pickled wasabi. Perfect one bite size that fits in my mouth without being overly stuffed, great flavors! 3. Musketeer Roll ($18) - Spicy tuna, hamachi , salmon, cucumber and tobiko. Perfect amount of spice and fish. Very fresh! Highly recommend! 4. Premium nigiri omakase ($60) - Every single nigiri tasted very fresh! Even the uni didn't taste briney! The seared tuna was my favorite! This came with a bowl of amebi soup. 5. Clay pot unagi donburi ($27) - wow! One of the best unagi donburi I've ever had! The unagi wasn't very boney like others I've had. Perfect amount of sauce on the unagi. Love how the added a bed of salad and ginger as well! This also came with a bowl of miso soup! Must try! Overall, will come again to try the 7 course pre-fixe dinner. I believe it is $109 and for the 6 course, it is $99.

Yelp
just ordered several sushi omakase for take out. The quantity is so little and all nigiri mixed together. It looks very very bad. The restaurant should packed better. They use a big box with very very tiny nigiri.....I just can not believer it. My order is over $200 and it probably only feed one person.

Yelp
We have been going to Kyosho since it opened several years ago. And we have been enjoying it. But not tonight. Pretty much everything we ordered was disappointing. The agidoshi tofu was served cold. The charamouchi had almost nothing in it except custard. The service stunk. I asked for more wasabi (which, by the way, was pretty tasteless) and ended up having to go to the counter to get it. And the total cost of the alchohol we had was $6. And guess what the bill was? For two of us, with tip, over $225. The waitress told us that the restaurant has a new chef. He is a disaster. We are never going back.
google avatar

Jane D.

Yelp
Restaurant was on the smaller side! We did not have a reservation and were fine on a Sunday night at around 7pm. Service was prompt and friendly, but not overly in your face. We got the omakase nigiri, omakase sashimi, and the crazy roll. Omakase was a good value - 10 pieces for $45. Everything was super fresh and tasty. Fish was good quality too from what I could tell (not an expert, but I've eaten a decent amount of good and / or Michelin starred nigiri). We also got a miso soup, which was extremely salty (but I loved it anyway because it had a shrimp head in there). Would definitely come back.
google avatar

Ron M.

Yelp
Great Japanese restaurant serving both traditional and fusion style dishes, but mostly focusing on sushi. We recently ordered a large maguro sashimi order To Go from Kyosho, and it was delivered in the coolest little box (see pic). Udon tempura was also perfectly done with ideally seasoned broth and perfect temp udon noodles. Tempura shrimp were correctly made to be perfectly straight--this was a great dish that reminded me of my childhood.

Yelp
Food is 4 stars, but bumping down to 3 for really slow service. Our party of 4 was seated immediately around 1pm on a Saturday. However, it took 20 minutes for the waiter to give us water and take our order. Lobster risotto - great flavor and quality. I wish the lobster weren't so cooked down though, it has minimal flavor and falls apart. Fuji Mountain - good preparation, nice and crispy fry. It's a little too sour for me (I like sour things) --they put a lot of ponzu sauce. Unagi don is great.

Kymberly I.

Yelp
My very first omakase! It was such a great experience! Location: They have limited street parking available around the area. Not too sure if there is a parking lot nearby. The restaurant itself is super small but very nice. Food: I did the Omakase which was a great experience. They have different price levels of omakase, but I did the cheapest one. It's well worth the price. Each round is the perfect amount of food. I did the 8-course omakase and I was not overly full or hungry after. The omakase also comes with a sake tasting for one of the rounds. Service: The workers are super nice. Our server did a great job telling us what we were eating and how we should eat it. Overall, this was a very memorable experience, and would definitely come back again. It's a great place to do your first omakase if you are looking to spend under $100.
google avatar

Mike A.

Yelp
Small quaint location. The portion size was very small on both the bento box as well as the roll I ordered. Service was fast but at the time there were only 4 diners for lunch on Friday.
google avatar

Anna C.

Yelp
Wait time was relatively long for To-Go order. When I called, I was told that the wait is 60 minutes but when I arrived post the hour, we still have to wait 10 more mins before we can get our order. Overall, food quality was okay, we ordered 2 Omakase sets, 1 nigiri set, 1 unagi donburi and 1 tempura udon. The tempura were soggy by the time we were eating (expected, they meant to be eaten immediately so not restaurant's fault), but the udon noodles are surprisingly good, holding its texture and the level of chewiness to them. However the Omakase sets and the rest were just mediocre. I might go again to dine-in in the future to see if the experience change, nice decor inside though relatively small.

Taylor W.

Yelp
Always great sushi, great service, and a cozy dining area reminiscent of the best restaurants I've been to in Japan. The most authentic sushi experience you'll find on the peninsula.
google avatar

Richard D.

Yelp
Tried this place out for the first time. First of all the place is small probably accommodate less than 20 people but it's cozy. The service was good. For appetizers tried the blue fin tuna trio and scallop crunch Also tried musketeer rolls and firecracker roll. Everything was good. The bluefin tuna included fatty toro, it was buttery . Other menu items are bit pricey for me but I still recommend this place.
google avatar

Brian R.

Yelp
A real gem in Menlo Park! It's so rare to find great food on this part of the peninsula - and Kyosho delivers. Fresh fish, creative omakase and a warm and friendly environment make for a real winner. We originally found Kyosho looking for Sunday brunch (ever had a sushi brunch? It's great!) and have since become loyal Friday night customers. Our kids love sushi now and look forward to these visits with enthusiasm. Ting is an amazing hostess and makes the place feel like family. Definitely check them out!

Diane T.

Yelp
Food tastes ok. They let the grubhub driver delivered me a single to go box. No utensils, no soy sauce and worst of all, not even a bag. It was ONE to go box sitting on the porch. I onow we are trying to be green and all, but there needs to be minimum decorum. What's next? Sushi wrapped in a biodegradable napkin?
google avatar

Benjamin L.

Yelp
Decided to try this place for lunch since it's not far from where I live. We ordered the kyosho box and the regular chirashi. The box came with chicken teri, sashimi, shrimp tempura and a small hand roll. Everything was fine but nothing really stood out (good or bad). The chirashi was good. It was average size. There were about 9 pieces of fish and 2 pieces of tamago. The fish was fresh and tasted as expected. The sushi rice was really good. The tamago was also very good. There's a lot of optons on the menu so if you want to try different fish, this might be a good place.

Guy T.

Yelp
Best sushi we have around here! It's really amazing and always fresh! Service is great (we order take away mostly) There's lots of parking behind the store. Great veggie options.
google avatar

Sokokyu K.

Yelp
I was very skeptical amidst the hot or not reviews, but I think I can give a solid three star review for the food. The quality of ingredients, including fish was pleasantly fresh and clean IMO. The plating was nicely done too, and they serve a slightly chunky wasabi which is what I prefer over overly smooth tube paste. However, the menu needs to be updated. Badly. Not a fan of crossing out the number of pieces to write in lower ones, and white-out over old prices for higher ones in handwritten ballpoint pen with pen poop. I showed up for lunch and was given a dinner menu that said "all day" in pencil above "dinner menu". There was also only one server. She was fantastic, but I could tell service was a tad slower than the hall was anticipating. Mark Z has a picture here, I'm sure they can turn it on and be awesome on demand, but please make the experience for every diner as pleasant as it must have been for Mr. Meta.
google avatar

Ploy N.

Yelp
Despite the recommendation and hype, I thought the food here was so-so. Maybe it's the new management? Maybe it's the later hour on a Sunday night? But service was a little awkward and the food, although nothing horrible about it, didn't spark any joy. I think I may have liked their free hot green tea the best lol. The ingredients in the roll were fresh. They have a range of fun roll combination. Out of what we got, I liked the Musketeer the best. Never had hamachi in a roll before so that was interesting. Their tempura was also very mediocre. I supposed you win some, you lose some.
google avatar

Kelley L.

Yelp
Would really give it 3.5 stars. I was here with friends during our 10-year college reunion weekend. We were definitely craving sushi and drinks, so this was a great place nearby Stanford in downtown Menlo Park. The place itself does not seat the most people, and you should definitely try to make a reservation ahead of time. We ordered omakase alongside a sake sampler with a couple of appetizers. Echoing what a number of reviewers said, the service here can be very slow. However, the food was good. The sake sampler was also good. Pricewise, it was reasonable, nothing too crazy.
google avatar

Chuan L.

Yelp
was able to walk-in on a Friday evening with only the bar table left. Service was attentive from one of the staff. Busy night and felt understaffed. The chawanmushi with uni was done very well. It does take a while but is worth the wait. The interior space is small but usable space is well designed. For those who live in this general area: if we put Sushi Plus of Redwood City on one end of the spectrum, and Hiroshi of Los Altos on the other; https://www.hiroshi328.com/ ...Kyosho is right in the middle. Re: quality of food and dining experience.
google avatar

Ashlee A.

Yelp
The quality of the food has somehow taken a nose dive and the service can be so iffy We have been loyal customers for years but this last visit was our final visit We called wondering if a reservation was possible for either 3 or 4 people and were told no only for 6 or more Imagine our surprise to be seated next to a table for 4 with a reserved sign prominently displayed. When we mentioned that we were told that if you purchased the tasting menu then you were able to have a reservation...so we watched as a family of 4 came in...two small kids and the family ordered off the menu. Not the tasting menu. So we felt very much put off by being lied to and the food was so off we couldn't finish our meals. Everyone went home feeling a bit queasy and the entire experience left us disappointed

Yelp
My wife & I went here for our anniversary dinner. I have never felt so ripped-off in my entire life. We ordered the pre-set kaiseki dinner. Not only was the food completely underwhelming, but it was $179 per person! All of the sashimi tasted the same, & the other dishes were just not up to par. Our total bill w/ just one glass of sake & one added chawamushi, with tip came to a total of $480! To be honest, I do not mind paying this amount for a nice kaiseki dinner, but this was anything but nice. The total bill & sub par food left me feeling completely ripped off. If I could, I would give this place zero stars. Avoid this place at all costs.

Yelp
Cute unassuming sushi restaurant from the outside, but very nice ambiance on the inside. Came here for date night on a Friday evening with no reservation at 5pm and were immediately seated. We shared an order of the edamame, which tasted very fresh compared to other edamame I've had in the past. I ordered their Musketeer roll, which had spicy tuna, hamachi, and salmon. All the ingredients were very fresh and the roll was delicious. Overall, would recommend coming here for a nice dinner!

Yelp
I've been a regular here for 2 years now (I'm a college student who goes to school nearby), and I have to say this is hands down the best sushi place near the Palo Alto / Stanford area you can get for the price. They get their fish every week fresh from the Japanese Toyosu fish market, and they coordinate well with the fishermen there, so you are getting the best when you come here. Go in person if you can, the vibe is very cozy and is really nice to get some good sushi. The fish to rice ratio is just right, they don't stuff you with rice at all. Even the to-go is really nice, as they give the sushi to you in these high quality bamboo wooden boxes and the fish stays super fresh and intact, versus other sushi restaurants. As a student I doordash a lot, and getting food delivered from here has never disappointed me, and it has somehow managed to stay almost perfectly as good as if I were to taste the fish in person--which is surprising considering how hard it is for a lot of restaurants to do this. Not to mention, service is very professional especially with the kind lady named Ting, who offers me a tea or a miso soup every time I wait to get my food to-go. I've genuinely never had a bad experience here, and this is definitely the place to go. Edit: Just wanted to add that their premium omakase is 1000% worth it (weekends only) and it's super nice because they get different fish every week depending on what is the best at the time. Their Wagyu beef also never fails to impress me, as it is probably the best Wagyu beef I've tasted outside of a 3-star Michelin restaurant.

Yelp
I have been going to Kyosho since they opened several years ago. I now make a fortnightly pilgrimage their to indulge in a Chirashu deluxe. The variety and quality of the chef's selections always makes the trip worthwhile. If its good sushi that you crave, look no further than Kyosho!
google avatar

Christine H.

Yelp
Have walked-in here to dined-in a couple of times without wait time as have been unable to do so when there is a long wait. Tip: Go there earlier than later will get you a table @ this small upscale restaurant. The restaurant offers "Daily Specials" with fishes imported from Japan! Expect higher prices naturally than regular menu items that are local products. The nigiri pieces taste fresh though are smaller than other restaurants with comparable prices average $2.5 - $3 a piece (2 pieces in 1 order). Unagi Donburi in a clay pot for $27 hikes up the overall bill. It only comes with a small bowl of miso soup. It also arrives at the table faster than nigiri. Would recommend the sauce to be placed on the side as an option since flavored unagi (eel) is enough salty. Wish there was more rice because of the sauce.

Yelp
Kyosho is our favorite sushi in Menlo Park! Consistently fresh and delicious fish!!! Their hostess is always so welcoming and we love dining at their modern and chic restaurant. We also love their to-go packaging/sushi presentation - perfect for entertaining guests or a nice sushi dinner at home. Our favorites are their sashimi, the wheel of fire and musketeer rolls and their appetizer selections. A must go!

Conor D.

Yelp
I love this place! The food is always amazing, atmosphere is top notch and the staff are the nicest. I took a young lady there on a first date 7 years ago. Now we are married and still make trips to Menlo from San Jose to enjoy our favorite sushi!

Kelsey C.

Yelp
Our favorite date night spot in the Bay. Wonderful selection of rare fish, great quality food and nigiri, the staff is wonderful, and we have always had great service. Having been to lots of sushi spots this place will always be our benchmark and we are honored to be regulars. It's a small spot, they don't take reservations, and the staff tries their best to make every dining experience too notch. We will be back again and again and look forward to the unique fish selection on the whiteboard every night we visit. Cannot recommend it enough, a true small business with a great staff and even better food. Shoutout to our waitress Ting, we love coming by to see her and feel so appreciated everytime we are there.

Yelp
3.5 nothing wrong with this place. Everything tasted average- nothing stood out. Salmon sashimi and uni all tasted mediocre as well.

Yelp
Looking for quality Japanese Food and a great experience? I recommend checking this place out! You're in for a surprise The eight-course omakase at Kyosho was phenomenal! It was worth the wait and experience. The below are the dishes we had in accordance to the photos: 1. 85 Wagyu Beef (raw) 2. Charmushu- Traditional Japanese soup with truffle oil and egg custard. 3. Sashimi Sampler (4) including Chu Toro 4. Shitake-Bass Hot Pot 5. Lobster Bisque 6. Nigiri Sampler (4) 7. Chopped Toro with Cream Cheese on a toasted Bread 8. Matcha Pudding The ambience, service, and food was GREAT. Thanks Kyosho!!!

Yelp
5/21/2023 this is a review only about bad service which turned us away. This is not a review about food. We were a party of 3 and we sat down around 1:20pm on a Sunday afternoon. There were only 3 other tables. After waiting for 15 minutes the only server still didn't give us menu or water. We ended up taking a menu from an empty table nearby. We gestured to order but were totally ignored by the only server, who was busy with other tables and passed by our table several times. We decided it's not gonna be a pleasant experience and we left. Giving it 2 stars because it's close to the worst service I've seen.

Yelp
Sushi was not good. Our first time here, and we were very disappointed with the quality. Servers were nice and food came out quickly, but rolls/fish need improvement.
