"Centered around the “build your own bowl” concept, everything in this fast-casual Brazilian restaurant is gluten-free. Five on Black is a great, on-the-go option for those looking for something more than just a salad. Bowls are generously packed with rice or greens, light proteins, and savory vegetable toppers like coconut, roasted sweet potatoes, and steamed collard greens. Some of their tastier sides include puffed cheese bread bites and chocolate chip cookies." - Nisa Sedaghat

Price was great value for the ingredients of the food and location of the restuarant. The manager Dominic was excellent. Truly the highlight. Made us feel so welcomed. We visited twice in a day and wanted to come back on our last day but they were closed on Sunday. Thanks Dominic!

Service was good - attentive, quick, concise Dining area is run of the mill noodle shop, maybe 12 tables, only accoutrements on the table are chili crunch, soy sauce, napkins Food was average - broth for Shoyu ramen was a little on the bland side and the char siu was delicate but still just average. Overall good for one visit, but won't be making a second trip back. Lots of other restaurants in the area to try instead

Had the tonktonsu ramen and fried chicken side. The ramen was just ok, seemed like there could have been alot more noodles and pork. The chicken was almost unedible as it tasted like old grease. Won't be back.

Excellent Ramen and Karaage. As with any other Ramen places I've been to everywhere (except Ramen Nagi), the egg wasn't prepared as "Ajitsuke" in a marinade but was just a normal soft-boiled egg... But other than that one nitpicked item, everything was excellent.

Amazing taste, very fresh ingredients and if you are a fan of the anime "Food Wars" you cant not love the level of umami!!!! The food and service are top notch, the place is just a classic lunch spot and the prices match that. Again the depth of flavor wow. Highly reccomend.

4.5 really. The food and service were great, but the atmosphere was very American. I like my ramen places to be representative of the place it comes from. Take this ramen, put it in a Japanese-looking restaurant, and there you go.

Great modern vibe in a cozy ramen spot. I had the Tonkatsu ramen and wings, the kid had the chicken ramen. Chicken was seasoned with Chinese 5 spice and was delicious and moist. Flavor combos were wonderful and the female waitress was extremely helpful

The tonkatsu ramen and takoyaki is so good. I always get extra chashu in my ramen and it was delicious. Came here on a trip and will definitely come back.
