Upon arrival it was a wait due to no staff in the front. Ordered the fried dumplings which were delicious. We wanted to order two of the yin yang bowls, asked if we were able to substitute the pork for chicken and we were told no. We then asked to order two of the chicken ramen which I asked if the chicken would be a breast, waitress stated yes but it would be fried chicken. I asked if it could be grilled and the reply was no it had to be fried. I inquired if the chicken was a breast and the person stated yes however upon receiving it was not a breast. The price was higher than most ramen spots and the waitress asked how the food was and I explained that the chicken wasn’t good and she then provided feedback and stated that she made a mistake on telling us what kind of chicken it was, didn’t try to make it right and continued with her day. The place is overrated due to only one side having honeycomb seating and food was not the best for a ramen spot. Dumplings 9/10, chicken ramen 2/10, take your business elsewhere not worth it. We drove out 40 min to try this place, first and last time.

My husband came across this place for lunch today and it was amazing. Winnie are server went above and beyond to ensure we were good. Food was fast, hot and flavorful. A definite must try. We got the B1 combo and it came with so much food and that amazing lemonade is truly amazing.

Get the omurice. Every time my husband and I come and he gets something other than the omurice, he regrets not getting it. The ramen is good, don’t get me wrong. The omurice is just better.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant since the beginning of the year, and unfortunately, the experience was a complete disappointment from start to finish. When we arrived, the restaurant was slow — plenty of open tables and not much foot traffic. We sat ourselves in the unique HoneyCombs after we got the greenlight from the hostess, and despite the lack of a crowd, we waited over 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Once our server finally arrived, we decided to order everything at once just to avoid another long wait. It didn’t help. We waited a ridiculous amount of time just to get water — and to make matters worse, a table that was seated *after* us received their water first. No one brought us utensils, napkins, or our appetizers. We even hit the call button on our table *twice*, with no response. Eventually, someone came by — a white man with a dirty brunette ponytail and Dahmer-style glasses — and instead of helping, he snapped at us, saying, *“Next time just hit the call button.”* The irony would be funny if it wasn’t so frustrating. The customer service was TERRIBLE, no sense of urgency whatsoever, and it felt like the staff genuinely couldn’t care less. I was incredibly patient for as long as I could be, but this visit left a sour taste before any food even arrived. The only items that were winners from the visit were the popcorn chicken, the lemonade and the dumplings. Not worth the hype, not worth the wait, and definitely not worth a return visit. TikTok and Locals let me down with this one .

It was our first time trying this place. I ordered the #6, Kyushu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. It was delicious. The waitress also gave me a side of chili oil for some extra heat. I also ordered the Popcorn Chicken and Steam Pork Bao Bun. The popcorn chicken came out hot and moist. I just wished they provided dipping sauce for it. The pork bun was also delicious. I rate my food a 4/5. The quality is there, but I can get the same dish elsewhere for cheap. The ramen is pricey here compared to other ramen shops. My wife ordered the Yin Yang Bowl (half tonkotsu shoyu (spicy), half miso). The shoyu broth had a bit of a kick, while the miso was creamy. Would recommend to those who want to try a little bit of both as it gives variety. She rates it a 4/5 since she has eaten another variation of the Yin Yang Bowl at another ramen place for a cheaper price. Overall experience, it was great. Service is a bit slow. There's a button for you to call the waitress at the table, but I didn't notice it until after. I rate this place a 3☆. It's not worth it for the price.

I’ve been meaning to checkout Kyuramen for a while now and finally got the chance! I had a wonderful experience here. We started with the takoyaki, which was honestly some of the best I've ever had. My personal pet peeve with Takoyaki is I feel like a lot of restaurants don't cook theirs long enough. But the ones at Kyuramen were the crispiest I've had. The inside is still custard-like, but it doesn't taste straight up raw like some others that I've had before. Next, the teriyaki beef burger was also really delicious. The beef was super tender and had incredible grilled flavor. It's a little messy to eat, but they provide gloves, which we appreciated. Now, onto the ramen. In my opinion, DFW isn't known for spectacular ramen; the best ramen I've had was when I was traveling. However, as a local restaurant, Kyuramen hits the spot. The broth was pretty good, the ramen egg was flavorful and perfectly jammy, and the chashu was super tender with a nice char. In addition, the noodles had a great texture, and the toppings were plentiful and delicious. I got the Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, and my sister ordered the Mega Ramen. I actually liked hers more and would probably get that next time. Beyond the food, the atmosphere here is really unique. There is plenty of seating, ranging from tables, a bar area, and the honey comb booths, which are the main attraction here. We sat in one of the honeycomb booths, which gave us a nice, private dining experience. There's a call button to get your waiter's attention, but other than that, you're left alone, which I personally like sometimes. However, that being said, the staff here were still very friendly and helpful. As for pricing--I've been to several Japanese restaurants in DFW, and I'd say the prices here are comparable. It's by no means a super cheap place to eat at, but I personally don't think it was more expensive than other Japanese restaurants I've been to. Especially for the pricing of ramen, the range is very much on par with its counterparts. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place, and I'd love to bring my family here again.

Been here a few times now, I’ve had their ramen, omurice, buns, and edamame. I definitely prefer the omurice with the Demi glaze sauce but the curry sauce is good too. Buns are very soft and flavorful

The restaurant decor and seating were so great! There were several different types of seating options, including private booths. But, of course I went the honeycombs. I liked that there were outlets at each booth. They had robot waiters bring food unless you were upstairs on the honeycomb. The food was fantastic. I had the omelet over fried rice(omurice). I loved the smokey flavor of the demi glace. But, the star of the show was the matcha tiramisu!!! It had a layer of sponge cake soaked in matcha, a layer of delicious cream(not sure if it had marscapone), and then dusted with matcha. It was 10/10. I was very impressed and will be back to try more items on the menu!

We came in for lunch on Sunday. I have had tried many different Kyuramen places but this one left an incomplete satisfaction in my food adventures. The decoration of the restaurant is inspired from the beehives and looks beautiful. The place was clean and modern. The food was a little disappointing from my point of view. The saltiness was prominent on every dish and yet make the food taste unbalanced. I would expect more savory or creamy from the broth but for some reason I taste the saltiness instead. It is edibly salty so that's why I will keep as 3 star. The service is ok as I can see how understaffed it can be for the weekend. The kitchen staff helped out the waitress as she runs back and forth constantly with 10+ tables. Overall, if they adjust the saltiness on the food, I may come back? And give a try.

I've been wanting to try this place for so long, and we were in the area so we finally got to try it! We ordered a few things on the menu to try it out and out of the few things we only really enjoyed some of them. We ordered the yinyang ramen, bao bun, lobster and chasu salad ball, pork tonkatsu omurice combo with curry sauce and a Thai tea. The ramen was decent, we ordered medium spice and it was definitely SUPER spicy haha, the flavor was good though. The bao bun was underwhelming. The curry didnt have that much flavor, it wasn't as deep of a flavor curry usually has. The lobster and chasu salad ball was probably our favorite thing it was light and refreshing! The service was good, the workers were super attentive. The decor inside was so cool and unique I really liked being able to sit inside the honeycomb decor haha. Overall this place was okay, probably won't be back unless im in the area and not knowing what I want to eat.

Just walked out of here for the second time. We sat at our table for twenty minutes without anyone even looking at us, ignoring our call button signaling we were ready to order, while other people who came in after us were brought water. The other time I walked out it smelled like absolute SEWAGE. Don't ask me why I tried to come back... Will not try again.

The restaurant has a very nice, quiet atmosphere. Even my best friend loves this place, and I do too. The ramen fills my belly and I feel happy after eating it. The inside feels like I just walked into a ramen shop in Japan. The smoothies are new as well, and I find them sweet and delicious. I would definitely come back again. The staff are very friendly too. I would recommend giving this place a try if you are always curious about it or driving by it.

Great food! The service was excellent; the staff were friendly, fast, and attentive. There was even a robot waiter, which made the experience extra fun. Overall, such a great spot, highly recommend!

A new branch recently opened in Arcadia, CA, but the wait times there are insanely long. During our recent weekend trip to Dallas, we decided to check out this location in Frisco. The four of us shared a variety of dishes--some were great, while others were just okay. The drinks here are excellent, especially the amazing lemonade. The fried items, like the chicken karaage and shrimp tempura, were solid choices. The omurice was both delicious and beautifully presented. It comes as a combo with a pork cutlet and lemonade for just a few dollars more, which is a great deal. We tried a few dishes with scallops, but they included the tough, chewy part that we don't typically see at other restaurants. The Ying Yang bowl ramen with miso and pork broth, was quite bland. Unfortunately, the pork and beef skewers were also too tough to enjoy. On the bright side, our friend loved the soft-shell crab rice and raved about the uni in the honeycomb appetizer plate. I'm glad we got to sample a wide range of dishes--now we know exactly what to reorder on our next visit.

Flavorful broth. Reasonable price for quality and quantity. If you decide to go today, don't order anything fried. Their oil today is not fresh at all. Popcorn chicken is very salty. Honeycomb seating is interesting but very limited. Ambiance is pleasant and chic.

Had this unagi dish with rice and eggs that was amazing. The seating here is very unique and cute. Came late at night and it was empty with very open parking. Ramen was ok. Service was nice but a little slow.

I was so disappointed in this place me and my bf went to go have a little cute date together it took them hours to get my food and drink and even at the end when we ask our waiter for the drinks he kept saying he will check on it and so we waited and even when we finished our food we were still missing our drink and we we were about to leave but we tried asking one more time and all they kept saying is we will check and at the end we stop waiting and just left and our waiter didn't even check up on us only the other people there and when we press the button because we wanted to order more food wile we waited for that stupid drink they never came the only time he came to us was when we asked for the check

I came with a friend for lunch on Friday around 12 p.m. I'd been wanting to come here ever since I saw the honeycomb setup. Since it was fairly empty, we were seated immediately and got to choose our table. I chose to sit in one of the honeycombs on the third level. After getting up there though, I realized that having a third level of honeycombs is definitely overkill not just for waitstaff who have to climb up and down with trays of soup ramen and food, but also for diners because the stairs are pretty steep. Usage of the call button at the table is pretty much mandatory if you want to get service. It pages the cashier's desk so it's only really useful if you push it when someone's around. At first glance, the honeycomb layout is a great idea to make use of limited space and high ceilings. However, it's really a novelty gimmick with subpar delivery. It's hard for diners and staff to get to, diners don't get basic service needs like drink refills, and lamps are hung so low that you can't see the person across from you. We ordered a YinYang Bowl, Pork Tonkotsu Omurice, and a popcorn chicken. Overall, the food was pretty average. If anything, the presentation was leaps and bounds above the flavor itself. The Popcorn Chicken was alright, but it had too much breading. The sauce made it passable. The YinYang Bowl was kind of cool - it had tonkotsu shouyu on one side and miso ramen on the other side. The broth, noodles, and toppings were nothing spectacular. The Omurice had a superb presentation and tasted alright. However, it would've been better if it came with white rice and had more customization options. Final thoughts - Kyuramen looks nice and isn't shy about trying to be different with its interior decor, but it failed on delivery as a restaurant. The food is fairly expensive compared to the flavor you get, and what you're really paying for is the novelty venue. There are better options of the same cuisine nearby, even just a few steps away.

I wanted to fall in love with cute and whimsical place but I left kind of grossed out- let me explain. Our service was impeccable- he was amazing! 10 stars for service! Unfortunately- I ordered a katsu on the side and it smelled and tasted pretty terrible. I knew as soon as it came to table something was not right- very off putting smell. I did tell our sweet server and he removed it from the table and the bill. It was also very tough to eat when I tried it- the under the crispy coating revealed a fatty right chunk of pork- not appetizing. I ordered the shooyu pork ramen/ the broth was good, but again the chase pork was not good- off putting taste. My friend's ramen was spicy, but she was content with the flavor. We ordered veggie egg rolls and they lacked flavor as well. There wasn't any soy sauce on the table but we requested some. They do provide a dip of some kind that looked sadly like hair gel or aloe vera and we were also turned off. I wish I had a better culinary experience-

Ps: all the pic, video was all on fb and I decided to share reviews at yelp as well! Everyone was hyped up for this Raman in Frisco, and my daughter loved the Raman, so I took her. When I looked over the menu, I was shocked by how expensive it was. Overall, it's just a regular Raman; their soup isn't as salty as other places, but that's about it. I won't go there again! You can see the recipe. $80 ish for all we had isn't worth going there.

What began as a fun night out with friends quickly soon turned into a tragedy after dining at Kyuramen. To start things off, they had all the fans blasting when it was 50 degrees outside... Then, it took forever for our waiter to come and take our order. We all ordered some appetizers and ramen. 3/5 entrees were delivered. Waited 5 mins, flagged down our waiter asked, he said it should be coming out soon... 10 mins go by and one of our friends flagged down another waiter and said we were waiting on a chicken bao bun... 15 mins go by and one of the two missing entrees comes out (ramen). We ask about the bao bun, it's still being made.... a single bao bun. Finally, the bao bun comes out. Pork. Not chicken. The guy tried gaslighting and saying we said pork... 20 mins go by, everyone but the two people are done eating. Eventually the chicken bao bun comes out, which was extremely mediocre, and definitely not worth the wait. We go up to pay and they ask if the itemized bill looks correct, only showing 4 of the countless items we ordered, before we can confirm, they just proceed to the payment screen... we just wanted to get the heck out of there, but we know we weren't comped for at least the bao bun, which any good service person would do. Avoid avoid avoid.

The ambience of this location is great. We sat in the honeycomb seating, which was the main reason we went here because we saw it on social media. The difficult part is that there's only a few spots. So if it's a really busy day, you will not get to sit in the honeycomb seating. They also have a robot, but sometimes brings out your food, which is really cool. The food was adequate. We got the traditional miso Ramen, the omurice curry, and a fried appetizer. I enjoyed the food, but I do not think it is worth going again. The main reason is the ambience is cute, but the food was adequate.

A little wait when we went. We had an early dinner on Saturday around 5pm. I think we waited 10 minutes. Such a cute spot with stacked honeycomb seating. The menu was great. They have a little robot bringing some dishes which actually worked really well. Really enjoyed the omurice, ramen and appetizer sampler. Lovely service.

Really nice decor and atmosphere stepping inside. The vibes make you feel like you're in Japan. Service is quick and attentive which the food comes out pretty quick. Everything we ordered was very good and flavorful. Not to mention a perfectly cooked Omurice and presentation! Definitely will find me back here for some good eats!

I loved the atmosphere. The restaurant is extremely unique with its diverse decorations. The staff were also super fun and friendly. The food was alright, it was pretty decent. I liked the ramen flavor and the omurice and demig glaze sauce was a little bland. I think next time I will try the curry sauce instead. The pork tonkatsu was really well made and tasted like good quality meat. Overall a decent spot, definitely check out the decorations.

The food was AMAZING! The taste was so good, and the quantities were great! The ambiance is nice and cozy, a little cold, but the decorations are really cool! The seating is super cool because there are upstairs and downstairs options in hexagon forms! The service was great; the staff was super nice and fast. There was even a robot waiter! The only thing was that the iPad to join the waitlist at the front did not work, but other than that, everything was excellent!

Taking to instagram worthy spots with honeycombs sitting area and tree to add your wishes or random things at. I went on a not busy time; so, I was immediately seated. Service was quick and had robot servers along with actual servers serving the customers. I will add that the price is on higher side that it seemed like you are paying more for the ambiance over the quality of the food. That being said, nothing was impressive, but just good ramen and sides. I tried Honeycomb Platter that comes with small portions of multiple appetizers like Eel Unagi, seaweed salad, and edamame - I like the presentation and the taste. I would really recommend this to share with people at your table or just for yourself. Black Garlic Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen and Kyushu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen were good as is, but not the best ramen I have had. The broth was not rich or deep as I wished. However; the noodles were very well cooked to my liking. Chasu was not greasy as some places do. Lastly, Matcha Tiramisu was great. Can't go bad with desserts - but very small.

The amazing lemonade was AMAZING. I knocked off a star, however, because we were seated in the honeycomb, which was cool but it caused the staff to neglect us... out of sight, out of mind. It took way too long for us to be fully served. We watched several groups come and go in the time we were there. Also, they missed an item I ordered. Definitely worth checking out, but try not to be seated at the top if you want good and attentive service

Recently, my family & I decided to celebrate my birthday here. It felt so homey & cozy, the moment we walked in. There was also a tree where people wrote & hung their wishes. It was pretty neat! Anywho, the food & service were fantastic! My favorite dish was omurice with demi glaze. On a different note, I'm glad I asked what made the "amazing lemonade" amazing. One of the ingredients was cucumber, & my sister in law is deathly allergic to cucumbers. I know it's a very rare allergy, but it couldn't hurt to ask right? I'm glad the staff disclosed that info for her safety. Nonetheless, will come back again.

This place was HYPED up on social media when it first opened. I was surprised to not see any lines on a weekend night, but it did get busier as we were eating. It's a small space so I can see groups needing to wait. They have a wait list tablet where you enter your information. People talked about the honeycomb seating and yes that is unique for sure. There is a call button to call the servers, but otherwise they didn't check on how you liked your food. It's a chain so I understand preset menus. Was mainly interested in coming for the omurice, which I've never had before. You have to get it as a combo which comes with a drink (iced tea or lemonade, $20 the one with no pork katsu). Would've preferred to only order the omurice. Really didn't want the drink / the upcharge that came with it. But the lemonade was really good. The omurice presentation is neat (search Instagram if you haven't seen). The egg itself is you would expect in an egg dish. The fried rice was not good. Thought the biggest issue was that the rice was not very soft. It was lacking flavor too. Also my dining partner got their food (ramen) WAY later than when I received mine, which is really odd. A few minutes is fine, but we had to ask the server to see what was going on. Not sure if they forgot or... it did look very busy in the kitchen though. They did take 10% off the bill for the wait, which was nice. Tried some of the broth and I thought it was good. My friend was really hungry and liked the ramen enough. But when they got home, they made more food... I don't know from my eyes it seems like the portion wasn't that big. The ramens run average $16 too... I will say the Kyuburger seems interesting. I think other reviews said it was hard to eat though. Yeah so I think this is a place to try out, but it seems like the hype has died down.

Cute place has a total instagram worthy vibe going on . I had a combo it was slightly on a pricey side . Delicious food and you can also end it by writing a wish on a wishing tree .

First and foremost, the Ramen was not good. I thought the broth was light and the flavor was boring. We got lucky and came on 9/9 so all Ramen dishes were $9.90 (almost half off). The Popcorn Chicken and Purple Sweet Potato Fries were good. We really enjoyed the desserts with the Cherry Blossom Jelly being my favorite and the Matcha Tiramisu as a close second. The server was sweet and the ambiance is cute with the honeycomb seating area and large wishing tree.

Tip: You need to reserve ahead of time if you want to sit in the honeycomb areas. This is a great place to go for a date if you're looking for something unique. The service is alright but to be fair the servers have to navigate some crazy areas to safely wait on the customers. The ramen is a little overly salty even for ramen. The Takoyaki uses a different slightly sweeter sauce instead of the standard umami sauce. Overall the food here is your standard fare but I give it an extra star because of the cool setup.

Great atmosphere great waitress. Delicious food delicious drinks.. I love their Thai tea their pork bun and their Ramen was exceptional.

This place definitely looks hip and unique. I was actually ready to try their ramen until my friend told me they're more known for their omurice. I was taken aback but this, but decided to follow my friend's lead. So we each ordered the omurice and a few side dishes to share. Not long after, one by one our side dishes were delivered by a robot, which is a unique touch. Speaking of touches, we sat inside this bee hive like structure, so imagine a bee hive on the wall, and each hexagon has a table inside. The upper hexagons can be reached by using small wooden stairs. The side dishes were pretty good. We ordered takoyaki, popcorn chicken, and gyoza. I particularly liked the gyoza. The popcorn chicken is okay, not bad but nothing to write home about. Their takoyaki wasn't bad either, but I would have liked it if they're a bit more hot. Then came the main event, the omurice. I guess what make it so special is that they do this show in front of you where they cut the perfect omelette on top of the rice and poured the sauce. They also served it with a golden spoon, another interesting touch. Although I appreciate these little things, I try to focus more on the food in my review. And I have to say that food-wise they're fairly average. Their omurice was good, but was definitely not epic or anything. On top of that, it costs about $20 for a plate of omurice. I thought that was a bit steep for a plate of rice and egg, but I guess some people don't mind paying that for the show. As for me tho, I might come back to try their ramen next time, but based on this one visit, I can't recommend this place just yet (unless you're looking for these unique dining experiences).

I think the current going average of 3 stars is pretty accurate for this place. My whole experience there was just kind of average. They are well beyond their soft opening stages so I'm pretty sure it's just forever going to be this way. First impressions - their A/C sucked. The pods were cool. There was another cool looking seating area in the corner but I guess it was off limits. The waitress didn't seem too interested in her job-m - she spent more time conversing with her coworkers than actually serving us. Like literally the drinks were brought out by someone else and so were the entrees? ‍ All she really did was punch stuff in the tablet when we ordered and brought the tablet right back for us to pay before w me left. Oh and if they actually read this - it's kinda rude to make someone swipe their card right there on the tablet while you are giving them the stare down on what tip selection they are going to select don't you think? Anyways. The ramen was nothing to cry home about, despite reading about their whole process on wall. The omurice omelette itself was cool looking but the rice under it was undercooked so that was a bit of a turn-off. I really think that at least for now, the pod seats and the omurice are really the only things this place has going for it right now. Hopefully they can kick things up a notch for their own good. There's quite a bit of competition around here now.

Foodie Alert! I kept seeing this new ramen place pop up on my timeline, so of course, I had to try it out! This place is so cool and aesthetically pleasing; they had a little robot serving drinks, and we literally sat on the wall. For starters, I tried their "Amazing Lemonade"; it was so delicious I wish they gave refills! Then I tried their Steamed Pork Bao Buns and viral Amou rice with curry sauce. It was sooo flavorful! Overall I would rate my experience /service 7.8/10. I can't wait to go back and try other dishes!

We went here mid week. The ambience was good and the service was pretty quick. The food was OK - we ordered omurice, ramen and popcorn chicken. For me it's a one time visit.

Highly recommend coming early if you're trying to sit in one of the honeycomb pods (who isn't?)! Got there around 5:15pm on a Friday and only one pod was left so dumb luck we got it! From what I know, you can't do reservations so this is much better suited for an early part of your night out. They have a vegetable ramen that's vegan which I really appreciate and enjoyed! There's a sauerkraut pepper as one of the condiments on the table, which I've never heard of before but it's delicious!! There's a bit of a kick though so make sure you want heat. Service was great- shout out to our waiter Tristen who made the experience all the better which their menu knowledge, patience, and friendliness. You could tell he was putting effort into customer service and was engaged! Overall, the ramen itself is similar to most other places. Not better not worse. Atmosphere itself is pretty casual, wouldn't consider this a night out spot. However, the pod is so fun and I'd go again for that intimacy and novelty. Extra stars due to ambiance and service!

What a fun, cute ambiance place to sit in lil honeycombs after a busy bee work day! Sooo what caught my attention to come (besides the cute decor) was not the ramen... it was the OMURICE! LOL I had missed the reservation for Kichi Kichi in Japan, so I HAD to get my fix here. Pretty interesting to watch them cut the egg, flop it open... and pour the curry sauce! And oh why not, got the Tonkatsu pork add-on for some extra crunch crunch protein to contrast the smooth and runny omelette. Ramen was warm and delicious - got the black garlic for the extra roasty flavor. Satisfactory and hit the spot for a thunderstorm evening. Service was good and food came out fast!

I came in Sunday night with several of my friends... there were 6 of us total. We got seated right away. Kyuramen is very bright and beautifully decorated inside. They have a tree that you can hang your wishes on!!! I ordered the ramen set that comes with a drink and Bao bun. You can get Thai tea or lemonade. My friends ordered Omurice set and some side dishes. My favorite is the fried chicken. The chicken is still juicy and the outside is perfectly crisp. The ramen came with an egg so that's a nice touch. I didn't try the Omurice but it looks amazing!!! I'd definitely come back!

I would like to start out saying that I don't think this place deserves the low reviews it has been getting. It might be because it's new and they had a few kinks to figure out but I had a great experience! The food was pretty good but I can see why people say it's overpriced. The ramen was quite good but the Omurice was subpar. The katsu was pretty dry and the rice lacked flavor. I think their selling point is the interior and the vibe of the restaurant. Service is fast and efficient (they had the cool robots) and overall it was a good experience. I would recommend people try at least once before judging it on the low reviews

Really delicious and flavorful ramen! The spice of the Spicy Kyushu Tonkotsu was perfect. I had a Thai tea alongside it and it was really rich and creamy too. Definitely recommend!!!

I wasn't blown away by this spot. The service and food decent, below average in my opinion. I did enjoy the appetizer (takoyaki and popcorn chicken) and the omurice was pretty solid. Spice ramen was just not to my taste. It is beautiful inside, a lot of cute pieces that help the restaurant stand out.

Come here for the aesthetics, not the flavor. My eyes ate more than me! Interior is very cute and presentation of all foods is very well done. However, the food itself is not very flavorful. It is not bad, but nothing is outstanding or particularly good. We ordered takoyaki to start, which was probably the best thing here. It was pretty good, but we have had better. We also go the pork bun, again good, but not really anything special. The tonkotsu shoyu ramen (#1) was okay. The broth was not that flavorful, even though they claim to make it by stewing bones for 18 hours. The noodles were cooked well but again no flavor. Chasu pork in with the ramen lacked flavor and was cut thinly. The omurice with curry was very cute and detail to presentation was great again! They even have someone cut it for you. However, the egg was so bland...the curry sauce was the only one really carrying flavor. Rice under the omelette was okay. I feel it needed more salt or at least more egg flavor! Matcha pudding was for dessert with red bean. This was pretty standard, good but nothing special. I understand this is soft opening but service was pretty slow. There arent that many tables, considering robots bring food to you, and we had to call waiters for everything even to start our order, bring dessert, bring check, etc. I think they just really needed organization, or 1 more waiter. It should be manageable then. Again, great for photos!! Taste is alright, nothing special worth the long lines or kind of slow service.

I love their interior design. The beehive-looking cubicles are so fun to sit together as a party of 6. They have table seating on the first and second floors. Even though for a Sunday afternoon, we were surprised to see how empty this place was. As soon as we entered we were greeted and seated right away. The menu was brought to us and we decided to try their ramen and some appetizers. We ordered their shoyu ramen, curry ramen, chicken karaage, fried squid, and fried sweet potatoes. Everything came out quite fast. The shoyu ramen was just okay. Nothing in particular that stood out to us (the broth was okay, the topping was generous, and the noodles were cooked well). BUT I don't think it was worth the price. The curry ramen was definitely a "meh". The curry sauce was too salty and thick. Their fried dishes tasted okay when we tried them first (crispy and just the way fried Japanese dishes should taste). If the food would be better I would come back but there are way better ramen places in this area. Although, I am glad I tried it at least once.

Great spot for ramen! Delicious ramen, great service, and super cool atmosphere! Def a fun place to sit down and eat, drink great drinks, eat awesome ramen, and get served by a robot. If I'm looking for quick, good quality, local ramen in the frisco area, kyuramen is where I go. This place is great! Super cool and fun place to dine with awesome decoration!

Mgmt confirmed this is the one to check-in for Yelp, since there are two postings. Open less than a week but just in time to celebrate a friend's bday. We sat in the upper "honeycomb" section but warning: the steps are narrow & steep so be careful! We ordered the popcorn chicken app & the #1 lunch combo - tonkotsu shouyu with black garlic, pork bao & Thai tea. The popcorn chicken pieces are fairly sized & quite tender. Not too much batter, so it's a matter of personal preference on how battered you like your chicken. Noodles were al dente & the broth was not overly creamy/rich. Mgmt was kind enough to bring not one, but two desserts for the birthday celebration - matcha pudding & cherry blossom jelly. When you pour the syrup over the jelly, the coloring turns peach; cute! There is a T (tea) bar in the back, which makes it a great little hangout place to get smoothies & drinks & I'm sure the dessert case will feature some yummy treats coming soon. We ran into the gentleman who built this restaurant & got a better appreciation for what goes on behind the scenes. We were also given a wooden plaque to write a blessing/wish which was a nice touch. Makes the dining experience a bit more introspective.

I came in with my niece on a Friday for lunch. We got to snag one of the tables in the beehive structure. It was cute and she was super excited. I brought her here to try omurice for the first time for us both. Our server came over with several different menus and instructed us to press the buzzer whenever we were ready to order. While we were perusing the menu, a robot came over to our table with ice water. We chose the pork belly bao buns as a starter. The pork belly is braised and was tender. We both enjoyed it. For the mains, we ordered the omurice with the pork katsu and the curry sauce. It came with a drink so we opted for the amazing lemonade. The omelette is brought out and prepared (cut open, poured sauce) at your table. While I liked the egg and sauce, I thought the fried rice was underwhelming. I was expecting a tomato-ey taste, but it was just plain fried rice. The pork katsu was delicious and what we enjoyed the most. We also ordered the black garlic tonkasu ramen to share. It was good but I wish I could taste the black garlic more especially for the additional cost. The service was very friendly. We were checked up on often and asked if we needed anything. As for the aesthetics it is definitely an experience in itself. From the unique seating, to the gorgeous wish tree in the center of the dining area, and the beautiful wooden decor throughout the restaurant. I appreciate the effort. The food however did not wow me. It's a neat place to bring someone who hasn't been but would not be a repeat for me personally.

Was okay nothing too special however the portions and pricing are decent. I enjoyed the appetizers and overall aesthetic of the place

Fun atmosphere. Great ramen. We went to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday. She is addicted to Asian food and culture. We had good food and a fun experience. Next time we go early and get a booth.
