Was finally able to dine in at this new location! We came in on a Friday evening and it was before dinner so waiting time wasn’t long. (Our first time trying to dine in was a 2hr waiting time on a weekend.) I ordered #4 without the corn and it did not disappoint! The broth was very rich in flavor, I got it spicy and the level of spice just hit the spot. We were a party of 7 and we all ended up enjoying this new place and the food and tea bar! Service was quick, very modern, there is a button on the wall to call waiter when needed and they were very attentive making sure our waters were full, lovely individuals! Looking forward to coming back!

Had a great time. Went on a Thurs afternoon about 1pm. Not crowded. Great ambiance and warm inside on a very cold day. Nice young people working. The BUTTON for service at the table is a trip. Food was delicious, menu is easy to understand. I'll def be back. Cost is about $16. To $19 average for Ramen. They do have a vegan bowl. It was hearty, had spinach? Noodles, lots of veggies. I enjoyed #4. Asked for mild, but it was spicy. So be careful. I loved it though. Def good. If your sensitive, may want to choose others. Great broths, clean tables. Fun to have a booth. Glad they're here.

Google
Very nice interior, clean, modern , and well utilized of space. 7 private rooms for capacity under 6 persons and with a large room for a bigger group. I was skeptical with mixed reviews and decided to try it anyway. Playing safe, I ordered the Pork Tonkatsu Ramen with black garlic. I was happy to report that the broth is thick and delicious stock. I love the thin noodle textures, not found in other ramen places. ..almost the size of angel hair..but this is egg wheat noodle. Definitely plan to return with friends and check out what their feedbacks.

Google
Really fun place with an excellent atmosphere. The service was great and we didn't have to wait to get a table. We ordered a bunch of food. We really enjoyed the pan fried gyoza, and the crunchy salt and pepper corn. However, the ramen was alright, the broth flavors wasn't my go too but the pork was really tough. We had the same issue with the pork bun. The popcorn chicken wasn't too bad and we also enjoyed the omu rice and pork katsu.

I really wanted to love this place. It's so gorgeous inside with all the beautiful decor and design. We went in during the day, but I'd love to see it at night with lots of folks enjoying it. Unfortunately, the food was a deflating experience. Although the presentation was great with plenty of bonito flakes on top (which I love!), the takoyaki was mushy and lukewarm with chewy octopus bits and crunchy onion. It was giving premade. Undercooked for sure. Sad way to start. The omurice with demi glace and pork katsu was delicious in flavor, but it also came out barely warm, which bummed me out. It should have been piping hot throughout. Rice didn't look or taste freshly-made. The katsu was juicy and crispy though, and the sauce and omelette were savory and perfect. I liked that the omurice and katsu were served tableside. My husband said the pork + shrimp ramen was hot and tasty, and he finished it all, which I was happy to see. The cucumber lemonade was lovely and refreshing. Our main dishes came out together, which was nice. Staff was attentive and friendly, but it took a while for us to get our check. I hope these were just one-off issues because it would be so great to have a 10/10 experience at this gorgeous spot.

We finally got to check this place out and didn't have to wait that long for a table as we came right around opening time. The place is very well designed and has a great atmosphere to it. The service was also efficient and friendly. We ordered a good amount of stuff to share among us. The ramen was a bit bland for me and could use a bit more flavor. The Yakitori Platter was a bit on the chewier side. The popcorn chicken had good flavor to it. The pork tonkatsu omurice was decent. I would probably come check it out again in the future.

Google
The interior design of the restaurant was stunning. The presentation of the food was equally impressive, showcasing great attention to detail. The service was awesome—attentive, friendly, and efficient. However, the taste didn’t live up to expectations. The tonkatsu omurice, in particular, was disappointing. While the ambiance and service were enjoyable, the underwhelming taste of the dishes made it hard to fully appreciate the experience.

Google
Great experience at this ramen restaurant. Their customer service is really good and the food comes out really quickly for how busy it can get. I would call ahead or if there app has a way to make a reservation.

Yelp
I stop by today for lunch. Their deep fried gyoza dumplings are so delicious and I love their popcorn chicken, too. I order some take out for my family too. Since it's my first time here, the server was so helpful. She's very patient to introduce what kind of food are good to try. And she is right. And the environment is so fun. I would bring my family next time, I think they will enjoy it.

Yelp
This was a great experience. We had great service, even though we had tons of questions our server still was kind enough to explain it to us. We got sat down fast, we got our food fast, everything was great. Food was good too, we got the Combination B, as-well as Sapporo Miso Ramen, and Yinyang Bowl. 10/10, my family enjoyed it, I would come back again.

Yelp
Such a fun spot with good food. Highly recommend the Negima and Pan Fried Gyoza (Chicken). We enjoyed the ramen and can't wait to come back and try something new.,

Yelp
Finally had a chance to try out this new ramen spot in Tigard. The set up and decoration is very neat and unique. They also have rooms to accommodate bigger groups. Service was great and I ordered what was recommended to me since it was my first time therespicy tonkatsu ramen and fried oysters with the grapefruit aloe tea. The broth was rich with a hint of spiciness. I added some of the sauerkraut pepper to it and it was the perfect bowl for me. Try their sauerkraut pepper and thank me later. The fried oysters were my favorite. The panko breadcrumbs were fried to a golden perfection yielding to a perfect crunch with every bite. The drink was also tasty and a nice way to balance out the meal. I got the ramen with half off appetizer weekday lunch special and it was just the right amount of food for me. This ramen spot is far from me but I will definitely come back for more!

Yelp
I came here mainly for the beautiful atmosphere and wasn't disappointed. We arrived around noon without a reservation, and despite it being busy, there was no wait. We were seated in the honeycomb section, which was what I was hoping for, and I was glad I didn't need to request it. App: I scanned the QR code at the table to download the app for cashback. The Tigard location isn't active on the app yet so we couldn't order or pay from our phones. We spent enough to level up on this first visit but won't get any cashback until the next visit, which is lame. Service: There is a device on the wall to call for service, which I appreciate as I hate waiting for or tracking down a server. We ordered Combo B1 and the ramen came out quickly. I wish everything had come out together rather than in stages so we didn't have to wait. They forgot our desserts and I had to ask for them after finishing other items in the combo. Food: Both the Tonkotsu Shoyu ramen and Sapporo Miso ramen were served at the right temperature and had flavorful broths, with no complaints on taste. However, the Sapporo Miso was spicier than expected for "mild," and the egg came broken as pictured where only a piece of yolk was left on top. They should have replaced the egg instead of serving it like that. The ramen portion was small and I could easily eat two bowls. Luckily, the popcorn chicken and desserts helped fill me up. The popcorn chicken portion was good but was too soft for my taste. I wish it were crispier and served with a dipping sauce. I ended up adding the ramen seasoning to the chicken for more flavor. The desserts looked great but were too bland and not sweet enough. I like the idea of a raffle where you can win something by finishing the ramen. Some people don't like drinking the broth due to the high salt content. I didn't finish the broth so I tilted the bowl to see if I won anything. Neither of us won. Honestly, the chance of winning should be very low as they basically decide if you can win. Despite the issues, I'll be back to try other items.

Yelp
Came here with friends as I'm always down to try a new ramen spot. They had a unique one on the menu the yin yang where you can try 2 different ramens at once. I originally was gonna go for the yin yang, but at the last second the katsuobushi pork ramen caught my eye as it said braised pork belly. The broth was pretty flavorful, with a tiny bit of spice. I saw others on here complain about their pork, but mine was very tender. Noodles were good, but not the best I've had. There is a sign on table that you can win a free ramen if yours says win at the bottom of bowl, but only with certain ramen. Although I'm not one to drink the soup, I made myself drink it to at least where I could read my bowl. Of course, I didn't win, none of us did. Overall pretty good. Service was good & the overall ambiance of the place is really nice. Very cute place for a photo op, many cute booths & decorations. The table behind us got something that looked really good, so I do want to come back & get that.

Yelp
Overall - Cool concept with great service, but I left still wanting more food. Location - Conveniently located in the same plaza as Walmart off 217 by George Fox University, with plenty of parking. Service - As first-time visitors, we really appreciated the friendly and attentive staff. They helped us get one of the honeycomb tables, which had an amazing view. Even though we were a bit tucked away from the main area, the team still made sure we were taken care of, which was a nice touch. Food/Drink - I tried the Katsuobushi Pork Ramen, and while it had plenty of ingredients, I found myself wishing for more noodles - they also use the traditional Japanese ramen bowl where it's a wide rim and gets narrow towards the bottom. I will admit though, given the market rate, it's a fair price. The broth didn't have much flavor, so we ended up adding some spices from the table. We also got the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with 25% ice and regular sugar which was sweet even though I have a sweet tooth.

Yelp
Another Tiktok find. Kyuramen has carved out a reputation as a unique, modern ramen destination that blends culinary tradition with a dash of honeycomb flair. From the menu, it's known for its rich, simmered broths, like the creamy Tonkotsu and the fiery Spicy Miso. The star is the viral omurice, where servers slice open a delicate egg curtain to reveal fluffy fried rice drenched in curry sauce, a TikTok favorite! Beyond the food, Kyuramen's ambiance balances trendy and cozy, featuring honeycomb-shaped booths, a Japanese wish tree centerpiece, and sleek design elements that cater contemporary and traditional aesthetics. It was a nice surprise that Tbaar was a part of the restaurant as well. It's an in-house boba tea spot offering Thai iced tea, lemonade, and many more. While the experience is largely praised, it's not without its challenges. I was fortunate enough that I had good service as it was not as busy in the middle of a weekday. Portions are generous, however, the omurice ...which easily serves two, was lacking in the bold flavor, making the tag a bit pricy. I did notice that our ramen broth was a bit on the salty side, I didn't bother to have more than one small bowl. Despite these minor hiccups, Kyuramen's ability to merge Instagram-worthy presentation with a fun ambiance keeps it a standout in competitive ramen scenes, offering an experience.

Yelp
Great service! Quick food with attentive servers. The atmosphere was beautiful with warm lighting, making the restaurant feel cozy! Sitting inside the hexagon booths elevated the dining experience. I enjoyed the veggie miso ramen. The toppings were bland. It tasted like they threw veggies with silken tofu together. I enjoyed the broth though, and thought that it was flavorful!

Yelp
Been here twice already and I've had great experiences both times. The wait can be quite long (we waited 30 minutes to be seated) and so there is some expectation for how the food and service will be. Despite that, I still enjoyed the food I ordered and the service was prompt. The interior is beautiful and ornate, it takes inspo from wood and Japanese elements with the layout. The food isn't quite authentic to traditional Japanese ramen and appetizers. I realized this after ordering the popcorn chicken as it used Chinese five spice powder. Still it tasted really delicious. My favorite item on the menu I've tried so far is the Chicken Yuzu Shio Ramen. The chicken broth is rich and the citrus cuts through the richness and balances the flavor really well. All the toppings they use are great as well. I have yet to try their Omurice, perhaps on my next visit!

Yelp
Wow! It's really cool looking in here with a Japanese & modern atmosphere. Ordered: -Katsuobushi Pork Ramen -Pork Tonkatsu Omurice Combo Pro: -Tonkatsu is very crunchy & juicy! -Ramen broth & soft boiled egg were spot on! Pork belly is generously sized. -The Omurice is cut right in front of you which is fun to watch~ -All the staff were attentive and friendly -Convenient call button at each table -Private nooks to seat parties of 2 which is fun for dates and intimate meals. Larger tables on the ground floor. -Benches and seating for people waiting for their table. -Boba while you wait! Why not!!! Con: -Pork Belly in ramen was tough -Omurice's fried rice is very buttery which was quite overpowering -45 min on Friday night with visible available tables. There is an online waitlist, though it would be more convenient to have the option of adding ourselves to this online.

Yelp
What a lovely addition to Tigard! I love ramen and this place knows how to make a delicious bowl! I ordered it to go but am excited to try eating in the restaurant next time.I loved the broth and fresh ingredients. My to go order was filled quickly and the packaging was on point. I also ordered a milk tea from the juice/tea bar and it was flavorful. The interior is bright and interesting. Will be back!

Yelp
The restaurant was so beautiful and I was wanting to sit in the hexagon seating, but it was going to be a 30-40 minute wait, so my boyfriend and I got seated in the private room in the back which was cozy! The other option was that tall table with bar stools, but it would've felt awkward sitting there with so many people around, so I'm glad we got seated in the private room. There were so many different servers coming to help us (7-8 different people popping in?), so I thought it was odd that so many different people came in to give us our food or get our order. Some didn't look very happy to work that day lol. It was distracting to have different people come in and it seemed like some people were confused about if our order was already taken. The food was sooo disappointing. I was so excited to try this restaurant because of all of the hype on Instagram. The flavor was there, but some of it was cold and that definitely ruined the experience :( The curry sauce for the omurice was cold and made the meal unappetizing. It would've tasted so much better warm. It tasted like if you microwaved food and you taste test it to see if it's warm enough, but it's not, so you can put it back in the microwave to heat it up longer. It was like that, but they didn't heat it up again. The chicken fried rice also lacked flavor. The best part of the meal was the popcorn chicken (really good five spice flavor) and the tonkatsu. I also kinda hate how the omurice combo was $24.99 and you had to get a drink. There should be an option where if you don't want the drink, the dish should cost less. My boyfriend did like the ramen, but he said the egg was cold (I think it might supposed to be?). I'd come back to try the bubble tea shop attached, but don't get your hopes up on the food!

Yelp
Today the food lacked what I expected. The pork just was not right. It was hard in texture and that pretty much ruined the ramen and the bao. I had been boasting how good the food was here to my son, and he finally comes with me, and our experience was a huge fail. Plus we ordered hot tea and got hot water?!

Yelp
First time here and this place was great service was great. The interior of this place is really cute! I love that there is private seating. We got the number 1, number 3 and number 6. If you are looking for more traditional ramen I would recommend the number one tonkatsu. We also got the popcorn chicken. I liked it but I wish it had more spices on it. We came here for my friends birthday and got a free cherry blossom jelly dessert

Yelp
First time ever trying omarice and it was amazing. So Kyuramen opened recently right down the road from me and I found out about it from a random video on IG. My kiddo is in town for new years and so it seemed perfect to take her there. Apparently, it was an empty space prior and just the architecture work alone is impressive. Wood honeycomb patterns everywhere you look. There are some more private seating areas and one with the framework of a sake bottle and a giant wooden tree that graces the back part of the restaurant. The food should live up to that, right? And yes, it does. We got an order of takoyaki, a pork steamed bun, ramen and a katsu omarice with demi glace sauce. My daughter said that it was the best takoyaki she's ever tried. The pork bun was sweet and the ramen broth was smooth. The katsu omarice took a while to get, but it was well worth it. The egg omelet was silky, the fried rice had lots of texture with all the meat and veggies and the pork katsu had a great crunch. Of course the demi glace covering it pulled it all together. For a restaurant that has only been opened a short time, they have it all down and locked tight. Well worth the money. Make your way to Tigard. Support local and enjoy!

Yelp
Food 3.5/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Came across Kyuramen on social media, and since it's a new spot, I figured I'd give it a shot. Walked in, added my name to the waitlist tablet, and waited about 30 minutes before getting a text that our table for two was ready. The place is modern and sleek inside, and they have these cool "private" booth seating areas. We got seated at a hexagon table, and since we already picked out what we wanted while waiting, ordering was a quick and easy. Staff was friendly and kept checking in on us, which was nice. What we ordered: *B2 COMBO* includes ramen, desserts , and drinks -Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu is a rich pork-based broth with soy sauce. It was a bit salty for my taste, but still decent overall nothing too memorable, though. - Sapporo Miso ramen, my boyfriend loved this one. The broth is miso based, and he said the chashu was super tender. - Matcha Pudding with red bean was soft, custardy and a little hint of matcha was good pairs perfectly with the sweet red beans. - The Japanese Cherry Blossom jelly was listed in the set but they were out, so we went with tiramisu as substitute. Best decision ever it was "not too sweet" and I legit scraped every last bit LOL. - Lemonade & Thai Tea both drinks come with the set. I found the lemonade much more refreshing, while the Thai tea didn't stand out as much in flavor. *Popcorn Chicken* This was my least favorite dish. The batter was thick and didn't have much flavor so def ask for a sauce to dip with! Additionally, the pieces were larger than expected for "popcorn" chicken, which made it harder to eat in one bite. *Pork Tonkatsu Omurice* Omurice is basically fried rice wrapped in a soft, fluffy omelet, and this one was pretty creamy and satisfying. I asked for a side of demi-glace and curry to try, and honestly, the curry was the winner for me. The fried rice was a bit too wet and mushy for my liking since I prefer it a little drier. There's a slurp & win look for the red stamp on the bowl's base to secure your prize and gift card. Save and use it next time when dinning-in at Kyuramen! At the end of the meal, they brought out wet wipes with our which I thought was a nice touch. Overall, the wait time was a little long, but I'd definitely come back again when it's not as busy.

Yelp
Wow! Just walking in, all the decor is gorgeous. There was a wait when we came here, about 15-20 mins which wasn't too bad for a group of 4. Though not all tables were full when we came which is fine. We ordered the takoyaki, popcorn chicken, Yakitori Platter as an appetizer. Then ordered the tonkotsu omurice and the yin yang bowl. For the omurice, the server let us know it would take 20 mins for it to be ready, and likely our ramen would come first. However, all the main dishes came at the same time which was nice. Appetizers came first. The takoyaki, wasn't hot at all. Just room temp so didn't taste fresh. Not bad though. The popcorn chicken was fried nicely, and we enjoyed the various chili powders they had to use. The Yakitori Platter was a nice assortment of different skewers. They ran out of the pork belly one so we replaced it with another beef one (additional charge was made for that skewer cause of price difference). The skewers were good, wish it had more char on them. The zucchini, scallops, chicken and beef were cooked well and had a nice sauce covering it. The tonkotsu omurice we added curry sauce on it. The rice was fried rice, nice fluffy omelet with curry on top. The tonkotsu was crispy and nicely fried. I wish there was more curry sauce though. It was nice to see the staff cut open the egg and it was just cooked perfectly. The rice also came with a drink, choice of Thai tea or the amazing lemonade. The lemonade was refreshing, could taste cucumber and lemon with it. The yin yang bowl is a great way to try two different ramens. One was spicy, other was not. Good balance on the flavor of the broths which I liked. Noodles were good, toppings on it were good too. Probably one of my favorite places to get ramen now. They have good amount of parking since they are right next to a Walmart. Also after ramen, they also have a boba shop connected to it. We ordered some drinks after which was nice. When I'm in the area will definitely be back.

Yelp
I'll need a second visit to try a few other items but my first visit to Kyuramen was decent. Not amazing but they just opened recently and are still getting their footing. The interior space is lovely. We waited about 35 minutes for a 2-top and were seated in a raised booth that overlooks the other tables. Service was okay: people came by to check on us but sometimes it took a while. Friendly staff, still in training. Food didn't take too long to arrive. We had the popcorn chicken, which was a good sized portion. It was pretty tasty but we wished it came with some mayo or lemon wedges. There are 3 kinds of pepper on the table so we added some togaroshi to the chicken. I had the Tonkotsu Shoyu ramen and while I liked the broth and the toppings, I wasn't a fan of the noodles. They were not as chewy as I prefer. Husband had the spicy Tonkotsu and said there was an unusual spice in it he wasn't expecting. He said cinnamon but I was getting five spice when I tried it. But there are other ramens there to try so I will make it back to sample another. Curious about the omurice too as not many places have that.

Yelp
We came to see Christmas lights and figured grab dinner beforehand. Stopped at this restaurant on Sunday evening 3 days before Christmas. Signed in at 6:29pm. Table of 6. Two kids under age of 10. We waited for 70 minutes. No much seating at all. You had to go sit at their tea shop across the hallway. Understanding that this was the 8th day of opening and lots of customers. So...you sit at the TBaar Tea shop and I'm thinking the restaurant owners are thinking that as long as the customers are waiting on food, then are going to purchase boba tea drinks and snacks while they wait. We got seated at 71 minutes of check in time. Service was quick...water, tea or anything else. We ordered our food quickly. All three of us ordered the Yinyang Bowl. The two kids ordered Vegetable Miso Ramen and Korean Kimchi Ramen. Appetizers ordered was Octopus Balls. It was crunchy. The Japanese Fried Oyster was fried. Yinyang Bowl was divided into two sections in a bowl. Lots of top goodies. Not much noodles. And it was sizzling hot when it came to us. I really wished there were less msg in this bowl. I drank three glasses of ice water and was still dehydrated. So...a tad more noodles. Cut down msg by half. Decorations were "honeycomb" setup. The upstairs was Chinese letters in each table for two. Date nights. Everything was made from wood. The owner came by to chat with my friend and mentioned that his family is investing their time in the restaurant. Mention how proud he was of the designs of the interior of the restaurant, which took 14 months. Definitely try this new restaurant out. Check out the designs of the honeycomb and the tree and the others. There are more seating in the back side. Customer service was superb.

Yelp
Amazing food! The ramen was super flavorful and the noodles were bouncy. I haven't had fried mackerel since I was living with my mom so I had to get it! I was very impressed with how they were fried and there were no bones at all. Finally, our last dish was the omurice which I think is the star of the restaurant. They cut the omurice and drizzle the sauce for you at the table and they even asked if I wanted to record a video (always yes). It was sooo good, I'll have to get it every time I'm here. I have been recommending this place like crazy since I went. There were a few hiccups which is expected of just barely opening. I was offered a second spoon for the omurice and I never received it. We were offered our check before the omurice arrived. Just tiny things that I'm sure will be refined over time.

Yelp
Kyuramen, a newly opened ramen restaurant in Tigard, offers a modern and aesthetic dining experience. The attention to detail in the interior design is striking, with thoughtfully placed decorations creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menus were well-organized, visually appealing, and easy to navigate. Each item was accompanied by a photo, a list of ingredients, and its price, making ordering simple and straightforward. Upon arriving, we noticed plenty of open tables from the front of the establishment but were asked to add our names to a waitlist. While this was a bit intriguing, it was understandable for managing the dining flow. Once seated, service was prompt, and the ramen was brought out first. The ramen itself was enjoyable. The noodles had a satisfyingly bouncy texture, and the broth boasted depth and flavor. However, the Kyushu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen leaned too salty for my taste, and the pork chashu was a letdown--thinly sliced for the price point compared to other ramen restaurants around the west side. Our yakitori platter arrived much later than the ramen, leading us to wonder if the appetizer had been forgotten. While the skewers were decent, the tare sauce was a bit overpowering, overshadowing the grill's smoky char that I was hoping to savor. One unique and fun feature was the opportunity to win prizes by checking the bottom of your ramen bowl, encouraging diners to finish their broth completely.

Yelp
The restaurant looks really nice and has a nice ambiance. It has potential but I thought the food was just ok so hopefully there are improvements in the future. The ying yang ramen bowl didn't come out hot and both sides lacked flavor. The gyoza was ok. I also ordered a side of tonkatsu pork and asked a worker if they had sauce for it but they didn't, which was surprising.

Odd place to find but what a pleasant surprise. Reminds me a lot of the modern Japanese places in Tokyo with it's decor or new and old. The ramen broth is heavy, like a nice bone broth that's been cooked for a long time. It has a good mouth feel without being oily. It is just flavor coating your mouth nice. For me, it can use a pinch more salt but that it what the little additive wooden boxes are for. Just like any restaurant where they give you salt and pepper, you get a spicy pickled hot thing to add or the very common 7 spice powder that is everywhere in Japan. The noodles are chewy without being too soft and the skewers are just tasty. Yes they have vamos and few other things but remember Japan and Taiwan, China and other places has been inseparable for thousands of years. They are all good. Not too expensive and thoroughly delicious with a nice environment. The only thing I'd pick on is the late service, after you eat, they are a bit slow to get water and I had to ask where was our combo dessert. There was like 8 people on the floor and it was an oversight. I hope they fix this.

Yelp
Definitely a decent bowl of ramen. I got the yin yang bowl and thought it tasted good, but was a terrible bowl to eat from because of the curves. The panko shrimp was nice and crispy and my granddaughter loved the robot that brings the drinks. Everyone loved that they are paired with T Bar next door so you can get drinks from them. Good creamy broth and nice noodle texture.

Yelp
We tried this place on a Saturday at around noon, when there was about a 45 minute wait. Fortunately, there is a little Boba stand on your way in and you can have a wonderful Bobo while you wait. It made the time fly by. We finally got a seat up in one of the beautiful Hive locations upstairs. I really love the design of the restaurant because you feel like you have the whole place to yourselves and that you have special seats. I enjoyed the condiment bar. The Ramen was delicious and included fresh broccoli, which I appreciated. I would definitely come to this place again as I think it's entertaining and fun.

Yelp
The overall vibe and appearance was a 10/10 it really felt like I was in Japan. The service was okay, one of our meals was forgotten so we had to wait awhile on that one. The food was reasonably priced with other restaurants in the area but the food wasn't breathtaking but it was decent for sure

Yelp
Amazing place for ramen. Recommend!! I knew when new restaurant open will be super busy, and i went to there one month later. I arrived at 5pm and did not need to wait. Food is perfect, server is nice.

Yelp
Customer service was great, got seated as quickly as we walked thru the door. Got the top two seater area near the front of the restaurant, which gave us an amazing view of the restaurant. We enjoyed the yakitori platter *especially the scallops The amazing lemonade was very refreshing. Omirice was enjoyable. Salt and pepper fried corn was delicious. Definitely want to come back with the family.

Yelp
Ambiance is great! This is not what I would consider traditional ramen flavors though. There is a unique Chinese hot pot vibe in the ramen broth which I'm not a fan of if I want Japanese. I ordered extra char su and corn, and both were served on side dishes. I would recommend you never serve cold corn to a customer. Takoyaki on point! Teas were good. I'd skip the fried gyoza. Lastly there's just far too many front of house people working. It's a bit awkward to watch. We had back to back servers ask us to check out at the table while we were eating. Not ideal.

Yelp
The restaurant's atmosphere, food, and service are all excellent. The desserts are also amazingly delicious. I will definitely come back!

Yelp
Love the ambiance here! We got to sit at the honeycomb box, that was fun. I was most excited to try their omurice set, because this is rare to find. The egg was made well and fluffy. But I thought the rice and even the curry sauce was a bit bland. We tried the yinyang ramen. I liked the miso more than the tonkatsu! The miso was decent! The desserts were okay. The pudding has strong matcha flavor(firmer pudding texture). The matcha tiramisu was okay, most of the flavor is in the powder thats sprinkled on top. We tried the drinks next door at TBaar and we loved it! I loved the lychee lime! Id come back to try their garlic ramens! And for the drinks!

Yelp
This place is bad. Like, really, really bad. We ordered the #2, which comes with braised pork belly. I wasn't expecting anything extraordinary--just a decent, tender pork belly with a good mouthfeel. Instead, what we got were inedible hockey pucks. I honestly didn't even know it was possible to mess up pork belly this badly. It was chewy, tough, and nearly impossible to bite through. The rest of the dish didn't fare much better. The half egg was just a basic hard-boiled egg, and the broth was completely bland. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is actually fun and unique, but unfortunately, the service was just as disappointing as the meal. Overall, I'd give this place 1.5 stars, solely for the atmosphere. We will definitely not be back.

Yelp
New ramen restaurant in town! We had a wonderful experience dining here with our kids. Food: 9/10 We ordered the #1 and #2 and both ramen bowls were slurpingly flavorful that is lacked at many other ramen spots in town. They both seemed full bodied and not overly thinned. Noodles were perfectly Al dente with a slight bounce. Service: 9/10 Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the hostess and seated in less than 10 minutes. The server also anticipated that we would need a highchair and prepared one for us. During out meal, the servers were very attentive to our needs and quick to fulfill any requests. It seems other reviewers had issues with lack of service, but it was not that way for us today. Atmosphere: 10/10 The environment within the restaurant is very welcoming and invokes a high class dining experience. There is also a robot that comes with your tbar drink. Really cool! At the end of your meal, you can draw on a wooden placard and hang it on their ceiling fixture which leaves a sense of "coming back" nostalgia. Overall, I would definitely come back for another bowl of delicious ramen on a cold dreary Portland day as I thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this spot! I've never had omurice before and this was really good! The eggs didn't taste like eggs and it was super creamy and the fried rice they made paired really nicely together My fiancé got the yin yang ramen and the spicier side was definitely on the saltier side but the other broth he got was perfect for me. I don't remember what type of ramen comes in it but if you get the combo version of both meals, it's definitely worth it! You get your choice of Thai tea or their lemonade as a drink and then for my fiancé's combo, he got a pork Bao which was super yummy too! I'd definitely go back to try other ramens and reorder their omurice I recommend going when they're opening so you don't have to wait very long because around noon you'll probably be waiting around for an hour.

Yelp
I was excited to hear Kyuramen was opening in Oregon. It was on my list to try while in California, but never got to. I knew the wait could be long, considering it hasn't been open for long and surely plenty of hype. The estimated wait time was 1.5 - 2 hours for 2-people. The wait wasn't the issue here, but rather how everything was being managed. For some reason, they appeared to be very understaffed with poor management. The environment is very appealing with unique hexagonal seatings, which is sure to draw in a lot of consumers. The restaurant felt like it was more focused on the aesthetics, rather than optimization, so it felt like the capacity was lower than it could've been. While waiting we ordered Milk tea, which did take about 30 minutes. Again, they looked understaffed in this area and undertrained. They were overwhelmed and stressed, so I don't blame them, but rather management. We decided to leave and go get Pho since it didn't look like the waitlist was progressing within reasonable time. Not to mention we have no clue the additional wait time for food. Might need to wait a few months for the hype to simmer down and let management figure things out before returning.

Yelp
My friends and I visited here 6 days after opening on a Saturday evening. The wait was about an hour for a table of 4. To my surprise when we were getting seated, there were plenty of empty tables but we still had to wait an hour. I'm guessing this is due to a staff shortage so they couldn't fill all the tables at once. My party ordered the omurice with demi glaze, popcorn chicken, miso and tonkotsu ramen, matcha tiramisu, and matcha pudding. Omurice was the best thing we ordered. It was very umami and well balanced. The popcorn chicken appetizer had a good seasoning, but the texture was lacking and would be better crunchier. I was super excited for the ramen but unfortunately, was quite disappointed. The noodles had a good texture however, both the miso and tonkotsu broths lacked depth and flavor. It reminded me of a watered down broth. Both the matcha desserts were good but the matcha tiramisu was my favorite! Overall, I would only come back for the omurice and matcha tiramisu. I'll stick with going to Kizuki Ramen and Izakaya in Beaverton if I'm ever craving ramen, as their broths have much more depth and flavor. In addition to the mediocre food, the service wasn't great. We were left staring at the menu for a good 30 minutes before someone finally noticed and came to take our order. The omurice had a 30 minute wait time, which is understandable due to the complexity of the dish, but I think is worth mentioning. Empty dishes were not cleared from our table when we were brought out more food so our table ended up being overcrowded with empty and full dishes and we had to wave someone down and ask them to take our empty dishes for us. Hopefully they'll work out the kinks as they operate for longer and improve but as of my experience, the service was quite disappointing. Overall, food was mediocre and service was poor. Interior design was very aesthetic and I wish the food and experience would match. I won't be coming back anytime soon but maybe one day later on to see if they have improved or not. The only thing I would come back for is if I'm ever craving the omurice!

Yelp
Another great visit! Decoration style is unique and chic My kids and I love this place! Their service and food are very good. It's hard to find, so I applaud them. What I have to eat every time I go is Yakitori Platter. Absolutely delicious! It's fresh and fragrant. I order it every time I go. There's a double ramen. I like spicy, my daughter likes not spicy. The two of us just need one serving and we'll be full! The soup is rich and mellow. And the tender egg bun rice! , double enjoyment of sight and taste! Seriously, everything I ate was delicious and the service was always quick and efficient. But you'd better call and ask if you need a reservation. Because they are very popular, otherwise it would take a long time.

Yelp
TL:DR yinyang ramen overly spicy tonkotsu and very bland miso. Omurice sold out at 9pm. Should have a sign up or warn us it's sold out. Decided to come here to try the omurice, have been craving it since Japan. When we got inside around 9pm, we read a sign that said wait to be seated. So we waited. Then the person at the front eventually said can I help you? We responded with, "Yes, for two please." She then said oh you'll have to check-in. We then looked at the black screen iPad next to the please wait sign. We had to wake it (it had only 9% battery left and looked to be disconnected)and check-in. There was five 2-4 people groups ahead of us and the total wait from check-in to receiving my table is read text was 15 minutes. We sat in the hexagonal booths up the stairs. Nice ambiance but kind of warm since there's no airflow. When it came time to order, I ordered the yin yang bowl to try both their miso and tonkotsu flavors and a strawberry smoothie. Then tried to order an omurice but they said they were out. I wish they would have told us that there's no more omurice before sitting us.. that's the main reason I was there. The service seemed fine/good. 3 different people checked on us. The ramen split bowl tasted really similar to hot pots. Overly spicy and very mild sides. I wasn't expecting the tonkotsu to be spicy because the menu didn't state it was spicy. The miso side was very bland and mild. Probably will not be getting any more ramen here. It was very mid. I'll stick to my go-tos in Beaverton. The price here is a little on the higher side too. I will be going back for omurice though so review to be completed.

Yelp
We have ordered Raman and Tonkutsu omu rice, Ramen was great! Omu was perfect but the sauce's too light. Service is a bit confusing. We went there first time but no recommendation from staff. And they asked us the pay the bill while our mouth still full of food.

Yelp
My friend and I went a few hours before closing and it was pretty laid back. The interior is really charming and bright, I really enjoyed the little touches like the little pagodas by the stairs and the wooden details. Not too busy so the food came fast. I ordered a pork bao bun and kimchi ramen. I will say for the price of the bao bun it is worth it as you don't find this type of bao at many other places. The ramen, my friend and I both agreed it was 7/10 (maybe 7.5). I got kimchi she got the curry ramen. The curry seemed fragrant and had a decent amount of flavor that wasn't too spicy or sweet. She said she liked how think the broth was while also sticking to the toppings and noodles. we agreed that both broths and topping were cooked well seasoned. However, some of the things that brought down the rating a star were the noodles and, for me, the kimchi. We thought the noodles were cooked well but they were thin and almost like packaged ramen. We also thought the kimchi was a little bland. I totally understand this is new place and that they are still getting things started so I applaud them for having a wide range of food and drink. I will probably try this place again, most likely to try something new, so I will look forward to visiting again.

Yelp
Atmosphere is extremely inviting and perfect for picture taking! The food was excellent and the bubble tea was also very delicious. Other than the corn, everything we ordered was very fulfilling.

Yelp
Large menu full of mouth watering options. Our group of 6 ordered ramen plus a variety of appetizers for sharing. Everything was good. I especially enjoyed my ramen and the shrimp tempura.

Yelp
I think it's me, the ramrn style is too heavy, Service was quick, love the space. Will try again and try the cute apps.

Yelp
The space is pretty and spacious, and we were seated in THE Hexagon SeatsTM without any wait when we came in around 12:30 on a Wednesday, which was pretty cool. We got both the white garlic and black garlic tonkotsu shoyu ramens plus 2 skewers. The ramen came out pretty quickly and the broth was really rich and creamy, but they both were a little bland. The noodles also were a little overcooked. It might have been an off day so I would be down to try this place again if I was in the area, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. I will say the timing between the kitchen items and the ramen needs to be worked out - we didn't receive our skewers till after we were both done with our ramen.

Yelp
It was our first time at Kyuramen and it did not disappoint!! The appetizers are delish!! We loved the popcorn chicken and the takoyaki! The service was fast and the staff were all very nice and friendly! The staff that helped us was Andy and shout out to him, he did an amazing job! We'll definitely be back! PS: my son also won a free ramen! So check them out!!

Yelp
Yelp is asking what could be improved. Well, my answer is everything. The employees look mad -- from the ones seating you to the servers. The food is so bland. In fact, it is the most bland Ramen I've ever had at any Ramen place. If I could get a server to look at me, I would've asked for some soy sauce or anything to see if it could help the flavor but alas, no one ever walked by or looked at us. No one even came by to check us out so we had to holler at someone busing a nearby table for us to leave. Instagram videos leading me astray again because of the aesthetics. The only saving grace for this place was the bubble tea, although that even took 30 minutes to make. The kiosk said you would be texted once your drink is done but after 30 minutes, I walked over to the counter to see our drinks, just waiting there with no text message until after I had already picked it up. The boba was mini sized and was pretty good overall. If you want to have some really bad ramen while eating it in a very pretty environment, this is your place. If you want good ramen, it's hands down Ramen Ryoma. I would not return.
