Absolutely wonderful dinner experience: the antipasti were delightful. The stuffed onion is incredible. The main courses (secondi) were prepared with obvious attention to quality ingredients and slow cooking time. The straccotto (beef stew) was one of the best I've ever had, tender and delicious, and lean. The baked pear for dessert, with a red wine reduction, was exquisite.
The owner is patient and generous with his time, and offered guidance on their (vast) wine selection, the result being a lovely Barbaresco that accompanied our dinner.
Definitely going back on next trip to Turin!
