L'Antre Amis

"The chef-patron at L'Antre Amis brings passion to his cooking. Using the finest seasonal ingredients, he composes a short up-to-the-minute menu, which also includes traditional dishes (pâté en croûte made with game and foie gras; cod loin fillet in a pistachio crust, spinach and ricotta cannelloni), plus tapas-style dishes for sharing. To be accompanied by your pick from over 500 different wines. Pleasant contemporary decor and terrace on a quiet street." - Michelin Inspector

Delicious food, good wine and good service. But please have a menu available in English. There's no reason to force us to translate the menu using our phones.

The best French restaurant. We ordered 4 starters and 2 mains. All amazing but I’d recommend to try more starter instead of mains.

Do you like sorbet? Great, you can have it with 75% of your courses here. First one was OK, a palette-cleanser. Second course nice, but hold on... you took our bread without asking. Now with a pearl couscous, no information shared on the sourcing or purpose of this dish. And basically thrown in a pesto that you could get from a jar. Another 2 with, you guessed it, sorbet. They even offered a "free" extra dessert of sorbet & a shot but I was already putting my coat on. Add to this you are shoulder-to-shoulder with every other guest then I would recommend if you have 100-150 Euros to spend on a chef's tasting you should probably find somewhere else.

Great experience dinning here. Highly recommended when you are in Paris to try authentic french cuisines. The chef prepared special vegiterian dishes for us.

EXCELLENT!!! ENGLISH FRIENDLY SHOUT OUT TO THE KITCHEN STAFF! Food: Prep area continuously cleaned, no cross contamination anywhere, kitchen was spotless, food was cooked precisely and in a timely manner, 5/5 steak (couples meal), great wine selection Service: Excellent! We didn't have a reservation and we were still able to be seated. The staff took care of us and gave great suggestions. Wine paring was also very well. Atmosphere: Think of fine dining and you have the right image in mind. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK

Google
Heard about their 3 course menu and we wanted to try it . There are only 2 choices of main course, fish, pork. Fish was really good, cooked medium rare. Pork over cooked and dry, sauce was ok. Rest was ok, except the duck pate, that was terrible. Very coarse/chunky. Had big nuts in it and was impossible to spread on bread. Staff was fine and service was quick. Wasn't bad but wouldn't go back

Such a germ in the 15th district of Paris. Totally worth the price. All the dishes were tasty and well decorated, very modern, matching with simple, elegant setting of the restaurant. Would come back to try different menu here.

I was there for Christmas Eve with my family (four people). Our server showed us a whole chicken and told us that it was going to be our dinner. Unfortunately, they ended up bringing two chicken breasts in four pieces. It tasted horrible; like stale chicken. Our dessert was a stale lemon-flavoured pastry. It was in the shape of a Christmas tree, most of it being filled with whipped cream. It seemed like they had put zero effort into making their dessert unique and enjoyable. This restaurant was definitely a disappointment for me and my family. We expected more, especially on such a special night. We also won’t be coming back anytime soon due to their underwhelming service and food.

Yelp
Overall a nice vibe here with attentive servers and tasty French food. My favorite app was the green beans and the pigeon was actually great considering I was scared to try it initially. I thought the desserts were a bit lacking so recommend skipping those if you come here!

Yelp
A friend bought me there 2 years ago. Whenever thinking of Paris, the delicious meal I had here pops in my mind. One of the best fish dish I ever had. Beautiful ambience and wonderful food with super resealable price.

Yelp
This restaurant was where I had my first meal in Paris and it's located just a few blocks away from my hotel. I was a bit nervous going in alone with no skills in French speaking. I didn't have a reservation walking in, but restaurant was half empty at the time so I got myself a table. After browsing a menu, I knew I would have to randomly pick what I want because I didn't have cell service to use google translate. When a hostess came by to take an order, she did help me a little bit by pointing out protein for each item on the menu. Luckily, menu was simple with just a few choices. You either choose 2 or 3 course meal. I opted for 2 since I don't care much for dessert. 34 euros for 2 course meal isn't bad for this fine dining restaurant. I got myself salmon as a starter and pork as my main plate. That was all I knew about the food I ordered. I figured I should just be adventurous and eat whatever they are going to serve me as long as I know the protein. I didn't know how it was prepared, didn't know what other ingredients were on the plates ... I just went with it. When my salmon arrived, it was raw. I don't normally eat raw salmon, but I ate it anyway. It was delicious, served with fresh vegetables and creamy sauce. It was quite refreshing. Dipping my bread in that creamy sauce was even better. Then the pork came out, wow it was pretty and looked tasty. It had nutty crust served with mushroom and spinach. Meat was juicy and tender. I couldn't be happier with my selection. The bread kept coming and it was quite good as well. I was very satisfied with my first dinner in Paris. Restaurant has nice ambiance, classy, small, but not full of tourists. In fact, when I was there, mostly were just French speaking people. If you are in the area, definitely worth to try them out!

Yelp
A wonderful, sophisticated yet convivial restaurant tucked away in the pleasant and residential neighborhood of Place De Breteuil. Friendly staff whom we were lucky to have one of the waiters who did well to translate the entire menu to us in English and carried a warm smile throughout our service. Menu is perfectly portioned and reasonably priced by Paris standards. (E.g. Menu Découverte would include an amuse-bouche, entrée, plat et dessert for 35€ - which is inclusive of tax & service). Clean, contemporary presentation (and ambience) that matches the quality and traditional execution of fine French cuisine. Lunches are easier to come without reservations on weekdays but recommend a reservation if coming for dinner service. Would come back since it is a nice, quaint and high quality neighborhood restaurant that is worthy to take a date.

Yelp
We were here to do some Visa and wanted to stay close to our hotel. So our friends yelp and TripAdvisor helped us to find this place!!! WOW!! What to say... we had 2 'Menu Decouverte'... Entre - Small cold seafood platter with shrimps, calamari, langustini rice that was presented in a sushi style.... - Mushroom soup (cepes) with Parmesan, cream, fried bacon pieces... Main - Pigeon served on a plate cooked to perfection with a mushroom (cepes) cannelloni served in a cast iron dish on the side - Cod which as well was cooked perfectly with leeks and Brussels sprouts Desert - Fig tart with a pistachio sorbet... the figs were fresh and the tart had some gingerbread spice in it.. Really nice - A chocolate cookie crumple with chocolate sorbet... for the lack of English words to describe it properly... This is not your typical tourist place, it is off the grid and it takes some time to get to... depending your location / Hotel bit it is well worth the effort. They are speaking English, but basic, They try... since we are speaking French it was fine. Small menu with not a lot of choices but I don't think any is bad!! Medium pricing (2 people wine and water 110 Euro) but really good service!! We will be back next time around.
