"Tradition and a cosmopolitan spirit combine in this highly original and exciting restaurant which serves spectacular and unusual dishes such as cuttlefish ink tagliolino with a perch ragù. An ideal setting, either for dinner with friends or a business lunch (the menu for the latter is displayed on a blackboard)." - Michelin Inspector

Stumbled in by chance for a vegetarian lunch and left with a memorable dining experience. We only planned on pasta, but the wines, service, and setting made us linger. Excellent value, too. Don’t miss the Pievasciata Toscana 2018 if you like a deeper red, and the organic Pinot Grigio (white) is equally worth trying.

Phenomenal 6 course vegetarian tasting menu and experience!! We had such a delicious meal and learned so much. 6 courses plus crackers, bread, 2 appetizers. Awesome service and answered questions. Interesting and spot on combination of flavors, creative approach. Loved it!

Amazing dinner. We had the tasting menu. Came with six dishes, a glass of wine and a desert wine. Best of all, it was 25€ They also had a seafood and vegetarian tasting menu and peaking at some of the tables around me it also looked fantastic. They were also very accommodating for allergies.

A place where art and cuisine meet, a true temple of taste. Excellent service, where attention to the dishes goes hand in hand with genuine care for the guest and a distinctive entrepreneurial vision. A pinnacle of fine dining.

RUN don’t walk!! I can’t say enough good things about this place. Tucked away from the main plaza- the food was amazing, great service and they were so accommodating for our little one. The tasting menu is a must- paired with a wonderful wine recommendation. We were stunned at how affordable this was! One of our best meals in a long time.

I don’t know how they are for à la carte dinners, but we came here with an economist's group dinner (including a Nobel Prize winner), and the food was mostly okay. The red wine served was sour and service was rude. Wouldn’t recommend here for group dinners

Spectacular lunch at L’Oficina. We enjoyed sitting outside. Wonderful service and wine recommendations. Chose the seafood menu and one of us had the vegetarian menu, both were outstanding. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Stopped by L'Officina on a Tuesday evening during a quick day trip to Perugia. Making a reservation online was super easy! There isn't much parking directly nearby. But the city has a easily accessible public lots that are within walking distance. It looks like there are two entrances to the restaurant. We used the one farthest one the right. I LOVED the mood here. Decorated with books, wine bottles, and tasteful nudes. And THE FOOD HERE OMG. Definitely not all typical Italian food. It is so innovative and delicious. We ordered the land tasting menu and the vegetarian tasting menu. For only 32 and 30 Euro, respectively, these meals were a steal. Especially considering they are the same standards as tasting menus costing well over 100. My favorite was a beetroot spaghetti with lime zest. I would travel here just for that dish. We were recommended a local red wine. Also a steal at 4 Euro per glass. The staff operated so smoothly and efficiently. Though they all seemed to do things a little differently. Some were careful to explain each of our dishes, while it was clear others were a little grumpy - however this in no way impacted our experience.

Yelp
This was one of our absolute favorite meals in all of Italy. The tasting menu was €30 and an absurdly, criminally good value. We felt guilty for how amazing the food was, how many courses we got (6 PLUS an amouse bouche and dessert nibbles) and how affordable for such a wonderful meal. Good service, very nice wine, lovely presentation, nice ambiance, and interesting and excellent flavors. We would go every week if we lived locally and will recommend to everyone we know who may visit Umbria. Seriously lovely.
