L'Olivo - Capri Palace

This is a 2 Michilin star restaurant. We did not try the set menu and we chose from menu. The pasta with lemon is outstanding and highly recommended. The rest of the food is above average but nothing like the pasta with lemon. It was nice that they brought a cake for us as we are celebrating our anniversary. The service and ambience is outstanding. It’s worth it if like Michilin star restaurants.

Beautiful sunset view. Solid quality cooking. Precise, balanced dishes with glimpse of innovation and joyfullness. Excellent Italian wines recommended by knowledgeable sommelier. Cosy and amicable service - greatly managered by Imma.

Thank you for being so kind and good to us. Incredible service and food! Thank you so much to everyone who served us breakfast every morning and dinner Friday night. The people are what make any establishment worth it, this was no exception. We genuinely enjoyed interacting with the staff each morning and at our dinner reservation. I cannot stress enough how good this restaurant is.

One of the best dining experiences my husband and I have had not only on Capri, but in all of Italy. The live music was an amazing touch, the ambiance of the restaurant and view was perfect, not to mention the obvious: the food. The food was absolutely incredible. We had the tasting menu. The flavors in each dish were well balanced. They accommodated no problem for my being a pescatarian. The portions and spacing of dishes perfect as well ( my husband and I have found sometimes at michelin restaurants we leave a little hungry or the meal was too long- this was not the case here). They even surprised us with an extra dessert as we were celebrating our 1 year anniversary. The staff was kind and welcoming. Also I now think every restaurant should have a water menu. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, I would travel back to Capri just to eat here again.

Everything about this place was perfect. I was nervous going (as a very basic eater with lactose intolerance), but they tailored EVERY single course to my dietary needs. I'm not a vegetarian but went with the vegetarian tasting menu--impeccable. The dessert courses? Life-changing. Not to mention the staff--warm, informative, attentive, everything you could look for. I hope I get to go back to this place. Worth every euro.

My wife and I had a great meal at L’Olivo for her birthday. The atmosphere and location of the restaurant is lovely, the food was delicious and the meal was wonderfully paced. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive and honestly made the meal even more special. The sommelier helped us pick out wines that would pair really well with the dinner, including a lovely dessert wine that went amazingly with dessert. We were also given a delicious (whole) mini-cake for her birthday that we ate some of and took with us back to our room. There were a few courses that fell into the Michelin trap of trying to push the boundaries of inventiveness and flavor, where the combinations didn’t 100% work; but by no means were they bad, just missed the mark a little for us. Overall though the courses that we ordered were all fantastic and by-in-large the vast majority of the courses were all delicious. The ability to pick your water from a variety of waters from the world seemed a bit extra at first, but honestly we appreciated being able to pick the minerality and type of water, and it was an unexpected treat. We will definitely be going back to L’Olivo when we return to Capri.

Excellent food and great wine pairing with every course. My daughter is a picky eater, but they were happy to help with her choices. Overall it was a great experience and we had a perfect evening

Two star Michelin and well deserved. The food and service were fantastic. We tried the tasting menu and the signature dish was the best thing on it as you’d imagine. Pasta with lemon ricotta and raw shrimps! Everything else was outstanding … it truly was a journey from start to finish.
