"This traditional small hotel-restaurant-café is all about the simple pleasures in life! It is perfect to enjoy fish from Lake Geneva (perch, fera and Arctic char), supplied by local fishermen. The chef also likes to showcase the charcuterie and cheese from the Chablais region!" - Michelin Inspector
We needed food on a Friday in high holiday season and looked at several before settling on the auberge. The others were all too busy and too formal for passers-by wanting to get back on the road. It was a good call. The Menu du Jour was a little higher priced at 19 Euros excluding drinks than some but the offering was higher quality and imaginative. We were shown to an empty dining room but I wanted to be where the action was - near the bar and we were seated in the bistro with a clear view for the pantomime to which we were entertained. There was much comraderie but the best was the incident of the giant fennel. The prize monster was waved about and admired. One wag decided to sit the owner on a stool and crown him with the fennel as the locals hooted and howled.||But back to the food - excellent home-made warm terrine followed by roast lamb in a white garlic sauce. We loved it but turned down the creme caramel for cheese. ||The auberge operates as an evening restaurant with a great menu at a price. At lunch it caters for the local and those who want a menu du jour. I cannot close without mentioning the fantastic bar attendant/waitress; a complete natural with whoever enters the door. Never ceasing working she joined in the fun and ensured all were embraced in the happy atmosphere.

Lovely, cozy, comfortable, clean, friendly, traditional place to stay. Short walk to the lake. Would love to return. We had a family room - two rooms connected and it worked really well. Little balcony with view of pretty church. Bath and shower. Comfy bed

We stayed Saturday and Sunday nights and had an excellent meal on Saturday (with good advice on what to choose), including the local speciality, fillets of Lac Leman perch. Paid 10 EUR more for a 'chambre charme' - lovely bright and clean room with small balcony. Good breakfast for 8 EUR, steady stream of locals coming into the bar for coffee - or beer - by 8 AM. Good advice on local walks and where to eat on Sunday evening (when their restaurant is closed). Great base to explore the Pre-Alp countryside south of Lac Leman. M. and Mme. Dubouloz are excellent hosts - we will certainly go back again.

We spent two nights here as we wanted to be on the shores of Lac Leman without being in an anonymous city hotel. The place did have a certain "charme" let down by one or two faults; the main and bedside lights appeared not to be working, we managed with a small plug in table lamp; our room in the old part of the building at the front was on the main village street so a little noisy and the evening meal though delicious and well served, was a little bit pricey for what it was. Breakfast in the morning provided plenty of choice and, as it was self service, as much as you could eat. Everywhere was clean, the staff friendly and the weather was fine enough to eat outdoors in a pretty garden.

Great for families as there is a trampoline to occupy the kiddos. While the menu hasn't changed in at least a year, the food is still good (no French fries for kids), and there is a good wine list.

I stay for 3 days with family .charming hotel , great cuisine , adequate room, but you can feel the owners can wait to retired and pass on to their sun to run it.lack of management , no communication with guests ,gave wrong info (restaurant close on Sunday night according to the book in ur room and in fact is open ) front desk tel u room will be done by twelve u come back and is not done .the future manager forgot to tel the mad (and he is going to take over ? ) the old generation does not care anymore so is the new one . Expensive for the accommodation and attention received||Plenty of charmingly hotel around to choose from I will not recommend this one to my friends and clients from the us

Fillet de Perch excellent, service precise if a little cold, room not up to standard. Bar very good, breakfast, very good, particularly the bread and the patisseries, and the homemade jams. A bit pricey for the food.

Located in the heart of the beautiful village Anthy sur Leman this restaurant is a book if succulent cuisine made by the Chef . You can eat in the calm tasting the Filet de perche fresh from the lake or the soufflet au fromage I really recommend it. By the way if you have your lunch, take a tour in the most beautiful village and appreciate the panorama of the charming scene of nature.
