This restaurant surpasses my experiences at 1 starred Michelin restaurants in terms of food, service and overall experience - every single course was cooked to perfection and the wine list is simply amazing. Mika elevated our experience with both her professionalism, hospitality and thoughtfulness. P.s. Thank you for offering me a blanket in anticipation of the cold. Can’t wait to visit again!

What a unique experience and pleasure dining here! We drove one and half hour from Nice but it was totally worth it. The ladies serving us were both kind and friendly, we can feel the passion and pride they have for their food. One of the ladies is so kind and wrote us a long list of the restaurants she recommended in Paris after learning that we’ll be staying in Paris for a few days. The cocktail they made with their home made syrup is refreshing and delicious, and my partner and I both agree that the sausage is the best we’ve ever had. The dessert made with elderflower which is grown in their garden is still lingering in my mind after two weeks. We tried some other highly rated restaurants in France after this but nothing is as good as this place. We love the location of this auberge too! The people are so nice and lovely in this village and we got so much kindness from the locals. Thank you for hosting us! Hopefully we can go back again in the future.

We booked for an anniversary dinner, and what a hidden gem!!!! michelin service and menu, we cannot recommend highly enough, and we will be back.

Located in the beautiful mountains of the Maritime Alps, L’Auberge de la Roche is a must stop culinary experience. I had the Sunday lunch and was extremely impressed with the care and quality put into the menu. Local ingredients incorporated into a menu which takes you on a sensory adventure of the local hills,gardens and water. Beautiful selection of natural wines.

Very disappointed. This was a gift for our parents. The location is great, the food delicious but the service was, quote « dreadful ». Our parents were greeted rudely by the manager/person in charge who rushed them because they arrived « late », the service during the meal was rushed, staff definitely not friendly, the wine pairing wasn’t great either, our parents had to ask multiple times for the volume of the music to be lowered, only for it to be put back up minutes later each time…. For breakfast, same rude service, not accommodating at all and seemed annoyed when asked for alternative milk… For the price, and the reputation of the place, the service definitely doesn’t meet the standards. Would not recommend.

This was a surprise organised for me and everything was an absolute delight. The room, the welcome, the food, the views, the attention to details ! It was superb and a unique experience. Thanks so much for such an experience “hors du temps” that I will cherish for a very long time !

If it was possible to give this place, seven stars I would. We had the most amazing evening and food. The ambience was incredible, and the host took such a good care of us. We felt so incredibly lucky to experience this beautiful restaurant and everything it has to offer. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully stay to experience more of the incredible food and hospitality of the owners. Thank you so much for such a memorable evening.
