I was there around 22:00PM(my last night in Paris), the owner was so kind to me. Food was delicious with reasonable price. Service was so impressive. Feel like I were eating a dinner at friend or relative’s home. Want to go back again.

Sometimes you have to eat a distressingly early dinner — this place may have view it as odd, but they were wonderful. The Boeuf Aux Oignons and Fondant Au Chocolat were spectacular. I also very much appreciated the owner steering me to the better wine for the meal! Will definitely return — hopefully at a more sensible meal time!

We came in (early for French time!) for dinner on a Monday night and felt immediately welcomed. The owner was lovely. made great recommendations for food and wine. The food was some of, if not, the best I had in Paris. Very reasonably priced. This is the highlight of my trip...just felt like what a dinner in Paris should be, quiet, romantic, friendly. Manifique! This place is 100% not pretentious, not stuffy, and is very much a local, given by how many times I saw the owner waving to passer bys. just perfect all the way around.

Restaurant we recommend by a friend from Paris. We weren’t let down at all! Small and cozy family run restaurant. We were the only guests at the time we got in. The owner was very welcoming and friendly and had made this an unique experience. Food was also very good! The couscous we delicious and could have served two people. Go there if you want to feel among friends and have good food.

I feel for consistently handing out five stars (selection bias) when there are places lile L'esprit de famille, which deserves 10 starts On the same scale. Service couldn't have been more attentive and charming, through and through. The massive, almost mutant, perfectly rosy duck breasts were a hit. The tarte tatain light and home Made, without added sugar and puff pastry, The wine and mint Drink out of this world. Come here if you see It on the map, seek it out, it's a revelation, even in paris! Worth the walk, any day!

This is an excellent restaurant that clearly demonstrates love and attention to HOMEMADE food. Don't be fooled by its modest appearance and simple menu. Everything from the starters to the dessert and coffee was superb! The menu is short, but all the dishes we ordered were impressive in taste and freshness. Definitely go for a set menu (many variations). Our stew set came with complimentary salad and tagliatelle. I had planned to eat a salad but ended up gorging 3 courses including beef and foie gras! Even the complimentary meringue that comes with coffee is homemade. Service was great and jovial. Will definitely return!

A very homey and welcoming family-own restaurant that left me with a warm feeling inside, both literally and figuratively. The owners felt very thoughtful. I ate here three times over the course of three days! On the first day, I had the veal special, which came in a cast iron skillet. On Friday, they have an amazing couscous special. On Monday, I had the dorade special! 🔥😍❤️‍🔥 The fondant au chocolat pictured was amazing. The establishment seems very unassuming from the outside. The attention to detail when it comes to the food and service were amazing! Demba.
