I recently dined here, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. When I arrived, I was told that the restaurant was full, despite several open tables being clearly visible. This initial interaction left a bad taste in my mouth, as it felt like they were either disorganized or simply didn’t value their customers. I most likely think they didn’t want to deal with costumers that didn’t speak French… After finally being seated, I ordered a steak, specifying that I wanted it cooked medium. However, when my meal arrived, the steak was severely undercooked. This was frustrating, but I was hungry and didn’t want to wait any longer, I assumed it was normal for French steak so I reluctantly ate what I could. Regrettably, the worst part of the experience came later. The next day, I developed severe food poisoning. This experience not only ruined my night but left me wary of ever returning. I needed pills to stop the bathroom issues, that lasted hours…

4 of us for supper 25 February. The menu provided a good choice, but was not too big. The wine we drank (chosen by the proprietor) was absolutely excellent, main course really nicely cooked - but not fussy. Puddings were splendid. Reasonably priced. 5 stars from us. It was great to see the place so busy.

Nice food, decent service. I think the helpings are a bit small for the price and they need more staff as it took ages to order.

It was referred to us and it was beyond any expectation. We were 8 people, and tried almost all meals of the menu, everything was delicious and obviously fresh products. Definitely recommending it again without any hesitation !!!

The service was excellent. Price reasonable but the food was very basic. The waiter recommended a wine which was splendid.

We sheltered from the rain here and ended up eating lunch! We had a two course meal opting for a main and desert. The mains were very easy to eat, the burger was delicious and the chips very nice. The food seems simple (few elements to each dish) and made of tasty ingredients. For the children I wished they offered condiments but perhaps that's an English thing not French. The puddings were ridiculously yummy and the panna cotta was worth the calories!!! We had a nice carafe of wine and generally enjoyed ourselves with a view over the old streets. We're not foody or fussy people, just hungry tourists with children and this worked for us.

Really good food and feels authentic, we recommend the chips & burgers - plus they made me a tasty vegetarian dish 😊
