I wanted to take a moment to share my positive experience with the management and staff at L LOGAN. I’ve been consistently impressed by how well-maintained the building is. The entire management team does an excellent job of ensuring everything runs smoothly and always responds promptly to work orders—whether it’s maintenance requests or general inquiries. Additionally, I want to commend the staff for their amazing efforts in organizing resident events. They truly go above making the experience enjoyable for all of us.

This has been a very challenging building to live in, the challenges faced upon moving in have presented more work than relaxation. The building has been marketed as luxury living, and has been anything but that. Management has changed hands 3 times, and with occasionally no management. With each new change of hands, each management group has been more and more difficult to deal, or communicate with, either due to their elusive tendencies or irritable natures. The most important thing to remember while running a luxury business is customer loyalty. If things were handled in a proper and or respectful way, I would have continued to live here for years to come, but due to the negligent nature of each situation and how it was handled many people are no longer happy to live here at the L. If you are in for a rough roller coaster ride this is the place for you. The monthly rate does not reflect the building and it’s “amenities”. The building has not been properly cared for. Trash tends to overflow, garbage shoots back up, recycle bins overflow, packages get lost in mail room due to disorganization, roof deck trash cans over flow, lights on every hallway on each floor flicker and have for months. If you have a dog beware that the rules with our lovely k-9 friends have changed drastically over the past few months, and has made many feel that this is not the nature of a “typical” dog friendly building.

This is sadly no longer the “luxury apartment” as advertised and it’s a shame.  This building was listed for sale and/or went under contract in early Fall 2021 and subsequently fell into disrepair at an alarming rate. To my knowledge, that contract is still pending. You will notice many of the recent good reviews here were prior to Fall 2021 and reference Chris, Jake or Edmond – they were with a previous management company that had been in place for awhile.  But with the decision to sell, building ownership apparently decided to change management companies as well. Since the building was listed, there has been a revolving door of property management companies and/or on-site staff and the quality of life has suffered significantly. The current management company (Peak) has been here since the beginning of February 2022. From September 2021 to March 2022, there was overflowing trash in common areas, defunct/seizure-like lighting in hallways, horrifying mosquito and algae infestations in the “outdoor water feature” on the amenity deck, busted pipes, and chronically broken doors (for example, in December 2021, the door to the amenity deck broke and blew open each time the wind blew and snow quickly piled up in the hallway.   There was no maintenance available to fix the door so residents used kettlebells from the gym to keep the snow out.  This remained the case for over 2 months and was exacerbated by several units near the “snowdrift hallway” losing heat for several days). There was a recent effort to spruce up the public areas shown to prospective tenants.  The lobby got a fresh coat of paint and floors with show units are cosmetically maintained. However, commom areas not shown to prospective tenants - but used daily by current tenants - remained in disrepair. One of the most disturbing and physically aggravating, outstanding issues was the seizure-like hallway lights, which residents were told an electrician would be on site to fix in October 2021. At that point there was maybe 1 or 2 (out of 14) sets of hallway lights flashing on each floor. As of the beginning of April 2022 (7 months later; 2 months after the current management company took over) the hallway lights (at least on floors not shown to prospective tenants) remained broken. On one floor, we escalated from 1 or 2 hallway seizure like flashing lights to 8 (out of 14). It was impossible to ignore such a visibly pervasive physical and/or electrical hazard, but it continued to remain unaddressed and was not prioritized or addressed in any way shape or form until a plethora of Google reviews posted on that very issue in April 2022. Additionally, material representations made by the building when tenants entered their lease contracts suddenly no longer seem valued enough to be honored. Finally, the environment has become increasingly hostile over the last 2 months with mounting tension between new management and current tenants who have been woefully neglected for the majority of their lease periods. I'm sad to write this as I have lived in this building for several years.  While there have been issues (like any building), they were always reasonably, respectfully addresse and there was always a cordial relationship between management and tenants. This changed drastically over the last 7 months. It's difficult to justify the continued luxury advertising of this building.

Would give it 0 stars if I could . I am looking to relocate from Las Vegas and but my information online to have someone contact me . An agent texted me this morning and I asked for a price breakdown and instead of being given a price breakdown I was told to look online with no price breakdown offered . Told the agent to take me off the list for a tour because that response does not leave a good taste in my mouth of the property .

UPDATE: Management is okay but it was better when Edmond and that management team were here. Jan Review: Fresh out of college grad approved. The new staff team is nice and extremely helpful. Maintenance team is super reliable and keeps the building amenities up to date and clean. Units are spacious. And you have the option to move into a furnished unit as well. Every two weeks a cleaning team comes and cleans common areas of co-living spaces. Overall, besides the lack of parking since the garage is small, this apartment is a great option.

Have been a resident here for a few years now, and as other reviews have pointed out, no team has compared to the Jake/Edmund/Chris era. I would be willing to bet each of them knew every resident by name. When ownership changed in the fall of 2021, there was a different management group every couple of months, one of which did not even make any of their staff known to the residents-however they were kind enough to send plenty of “anonymous” emails regarding instructions for rent payments. As the building fell into disrepair, so did the relation between residents and staff. The current management team that we’ve had for a while now has been working to address the problems that have resulted from the many changes in building management over the last year, and I appreciate that. While it’s nothing compared to what it was a few years ago, I would say they are generally doing a decent job. Nedra in particular has been quick to respond to any issues and get things done. I hope they can continue to make improvements and bring back that cozy feeling this building had in the past. As for the building, having a unit that faces away from the “L” train, noise is never an issue and the location is convenient. Having a taproom downstairs is great. The walls are decent at muffling noise from neighbor units (except for the bathrooms that share a wall and oddly enough the same vent..). Pet owners are responsible most of the time and the building feels clean and secure. The package room works well when carriers feel like making deliveries in it. The appliances and fixtures within the units are mediocre (aside from the washer/dryer and shower) but as rental prices are increasing in the area, you can now find high-rises in or around downtown with way more amenities, better appliances, and pizazz for the same price. Overall I would say that I have had an okay experience at this property. If things keep going the way they are now, it could definitely be worth the investment as a tenant. As with everywhere else, there is room for improvement.

When my boyfriend and I were first moving in we didn't know what to expect because the reviews about the management from the last few years were extremely poor. We had a great experience when Ross gave us our showing and decided to see how the new management would be. Although there were some hiccups our first few weeks living here with the old management, our experience completely changed with the new management team. Nedra, the property manager, is absolutely amazing. She has truly taken care of us and made this place feel like home. The maintenance team is also great, but what's better is that we've never had any maintenance or appliance issues in this building. The building is regularly cleaned and the team is constantly making improvements. If you're looking for a sign to apply, this is it.

Admittedly, I just moved in, but Nedra (property manager) and Carlos (chief engineer) have been SUPER responsive and insanely helpful - going absolutely above and beyond to help and solve a small mix-up with my unit to get me moved in on time. Coming from another similar building in the area, the L Logan team is much more responsive and caring than my last building. Not to mention I love my unit. Lots of closet space, airy and light, and incredibly peaceful and quiet for a large building. If things continue this smoothly I will be here a long time!
