Each time my family and I stayed at L7 hongdae we had an amazing experience. It is the nicest hotel in the area of hongdae with clean rooms and showers. The area is amazing and extremely convenient placed in the center of Hongdae. The view from the hotel is amazing and the staff is very kind. I highly recommend staying in this hotel!

It was our first time in Seoul, Korea so we wanted to stay central to Hongdae and booked L7! We were very happy with our stay here. The location of this hotel was perfect as it was walking distance to Hongdae and Yeonnam-dong area. It has very easy access to public transport for the subway, buses and airport limousine. The staff were very friendly, efficient and accommodating. We booked the Standard Double for our 5 night stay and it was quite affordable. The room was very clean and spacious. It was nice that we also had a view of the N Seoul Tower as well. It made the stay just that extra special during the sunrise/sunset. Would highly recommend staying here! :) P.S. if you’re a gamer and a big fan of T1 - the T1 Basecamp is very close by. My partner was thrilled about that as well!

The location is very convenient. The hotel is surrounded by shops, restaurants; and is located in a cool district. Service is great and there is a Wowpass machine in the lobby. You do not to seek one in other tourist spots.

2.5 stars First the negatives: --The breakfast buffet was terrible in terms of quality and selection. --There were no chairs in the room, just a stool, so it was impossible to use the desk. --The beds were quite uncomfortable. --The room was extremely small and cramped, especially considering the cost. -- Only disposable paper cups were provided (no ceramic mugs or glasses), which made it seem strange that the hotel does not provide toothpaste "for the environment." Now the positives: --Relatively clean. --Nice desk staff and cleaners. --Location, location, location. Basically, the hotel is very overpriced and does not offer a 4-star experience. I expect more from Lotte hotels and was quite disappointed. We will definitely not stay at L7 again.

Amidst the ongoing construction in Hongdae stands L7 Hotel 🏨. The hotel has been quite controversial, with guests sharing very mixed opinions—and after staying there, it’s easy to understand why. The good things: The location is extremely convenient, situated right next to a train station, making it easy to travel around the city. The common area is well designed and offers games such as pool and chess, creating a nice space to relax and socialize. The bad things: The bathroom lacked a shower curtain, which caused water to spread across the entire bathroom after each shower. Construction was taking place right next to the hotel, starting early in the morning and continuing throughout the day, which made the stay somewhat uncomfortable. Noise from cleaning in nearby rooms was easily heard in the mornings. Only paper cups were provided, which felt inconvenient and low-quality for a hotel stay. Main issue: The sound insulation was extremely poor. Noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway could be clearly heard, greatly affecting comfort and privacy. Overall: L7 Hotel has a great location and some appealing facilities, but several aspects could be improved. Better sound insulation and more investment in room quality would significantly enhance the guest experience.

We stayed at L7 Hongdae and had a really great time. The biggest highlight of this hotel is its location — everything is so convenient! Cafes, restaurants, and shops are all just steps away. The lounge area is lovely, and they also have a rooftop restaurant, which is a nice bonus. But the absolute best part was the cleaning staff — they were incredibly kind and did an excellent job cleaning the room every single day. If you’re staying in Hongdae, this is definitely the place to stay!

Hotel is located very conveniently next to exit 1 of Hongik Uni station along with many shops and eateries. The hotel lobby has an area filled with amenities such as chess, pool table and some seats for guests to chill. My teenagers children truly enjoyed the stay.
