L7 Hongdae

Excellent hotel near Hongik University station. Stayed 9 days in superior double room. Clean, comfortable, with great housekeeping (friendly staff). I had a room with great view, level 20, and plenty of light due to the floor to ceiling windows. When curtains are drawn, the room is kept very dark. Best of both worlds. Surprisingly, but important to us, the rooms are very quiet and you can barely hear anyone. Useful amenities: universal adapters, free water daily, laundry, and gym. Close to many food options as well. Highly recommended.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​!

love the location, beside CGV cinema, Shoppen (bags and shoes). within 5min walk from Hongik university station and Hongdae night shopping street. hotel buffet breakfast is the best. there's no restaurant or cafe open in the morning so definitely need to eat breakfast at the hotel. buy breakfast from hotel and they give 20% discount so no need to book via trip.com. shops dont open early in Hongdae. Hotel kindly allow me early check in as i was on redeye flight. shampoo, conditioner, body wash and even a bath sponge provided. washer and dryer are fully packed at night but its empty during morning hours. 5000 won for washer, 5000 won for dryer and 1000 won for detergent. quite safe location for solo female traveller.

The location is amazing! 2 minutes walk from Hongik MRT Station exit 1 (there is an escalator) Accessible to both sides of Hongdae! Requested for a high floor and the hotel gladly accommodated. Thank you for this! Check in was fuss free, the room was cosy and liked the Malin+Goetz products too. Hot and cold water dispenser available at every floor, it was just nice right outside our room. Liked the lounge as there was a pool table open 24hours. Gym was really nice and clean (didn't manage to use it during my stay) microwave oven and washer/dryer available on the same floor as well. Will be back and recommending this to all my family and friends!

The hotel is modern and conveniently located. It is next door to subway exit with escalator leading to the ground surface (which is not very commonly seen in the subway in South Korea). Thus, one does not need to hand lift the luggage to climb the staircase at all. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. I only stayed one night, but no complaint. It was quiet at night. The staff is also helpful.

Second time here the location is just superb. Right at Hongdae. Easy to shop and find things to eat. 2 mins walk to subway and less than 5 mins walk from bus station where airport bus arrives. Staff are helpful and the room for both trips are nice.

Location is great, 5 mins walk to subway. A lot of shopping, dinning place around . The entrance is not easy to find as the lobby is not on the Ground floor. The Line Store is next to it. The lifts are slow n small, so always need to wait for a few mins, but once you go up, the view is really nice.

Great location, perfect spot to explore the city from due to access to green line (2). The staff is very helpful and attentive, they store bags for you as well and if you are or become a Lotte member you can enter your room before checkin time (if it is ready). Would recommend to ask for a room higher up as the street is busy all day and night and the soundproofing of L7 windows not perfect. The hotel is made for foreign tourists and they’re very good at this.

Had a wonderful stay at the best hotel in Hongdae recently. The check-in was fuss free with excellent service from the staff. We only needed to take one lift instead of two. The gym was indeed state of the art that is simple yet sufficiently equipped. There was sufficient water replenished everyday with a dispenser just outside the room. The best part is that it is just opposite the airport bus and taking train is easy with an exit that has an escalator. Love the eateries downstairs especially Lotteria that closes at 4am and is fully self-service. Convenient to grab a bite after our K-pop concert that ended late and we were too tired to hunt for a place to have our dinner. Many fantastic eateries within walking distance around Hongdae and Yeonnam. Surrounding is safe and quiet with no line of smokers and vapers hanging at the ground level which makes this hotel extremely ideal for families.
