L7 Myeongdong

Very nice place to stay! The location of L7 Hotel Myeongdong is unbeatable — you can walk to all the top spots in the area, from bustling Myeongdong shopping street and night markets to nearby attractions like Namsan Tower, Lotte Department Store, and even Daiso or HBAF stores just steps away. All the major convenience stores are super nearby, like 7-Eleven, CU, and GS25 within 1-2 minutes' walk, plus the subway (Exit 9, Myeongdong Station) and airport bus stop right there for easy exploring. Rooms are stylish and clean, with great views, a rooftop bar, and friendly staff - perfect base for first-timers who want everything at their doorstep without needing taxis

The best hotel in Myeongdong area. Easy access, few steps to shopping area, few steps from train station, taxi stop just in front of the hotel. If you want to early check in, there's extra charge 80K Korean Won.

We stayed two nights in the Superior Family Twin and paid extra for the mountain view. The room already felt a bit tight even before we opened our three big suitcases, but it was still comfortable enough for a good night’s rest. The real letdown was the hair dryer — it was very weak and took forever to dry our hair after showering. That said, the location is a big win. It’s just a short walk to Myeongdong shopping street and the MRT station, which made exploring Seoul super convenient.

The location is great for exploring the night market and shopping, and the reception staff were very friendly. However, the breakfast options are limited for vegans, and the elevators are extremely slow. On the plus side, you can do your laundry and it’s not expensive. The room itself had a strange design and was not very functional—the glass shower door opens directly into the room, and there’s nowhere to hang towels. The open bathroom layout felt odd, and the towels were not soft. Overall, I don’t think this offers good value for money.

So satisfied with the room stay, location is closed to the tourist street and train station. Room size is good enough with clean condition. Breakfast is good and some dishes are different every day. Definitely will book again for next visit.

Good location and easy access for both airport and day tour bus pickup. A lot shoppings and wholesale market near the hotel. Eco friendly hotel and there is a hot cold water dispenser outside the room for the guests. Only thing I don’t like is the free coffee machine which doesn’t taste good and no creamer and stirrer. Shower gel and shampoo good quality and smell nice. The L7 photo booth is fun with the hotel name on the photo print to keep our memory. Will recommend L7 hotel to friends and families.

Everything about this place is top notch. Great food around this area. Tremendous walking shopping zone. Pretty central to many attractions by bus, Uber, or walking. I didnt try the train but that also looks to be a decent way to travel. Hotel has most things you need, due to an initiative to save the earth they do not provide every room woth tool brush. Good food on 2F, gym is quite small, I just routine in my room so w/e. Trying the drinks tonight at the lounge, if I remember to update i will. So far this place has no downsides.

Found the rooms far too small esp the toilet! Toilet door should open into shower area so bath mat is not in the way. So much trouble getting out without wetting the floor.Gave lots of vouchers but should inform guests where they can be used - only for dutyfree shop!!The footspa is a waste of time. Coffee service where you need bring down own cup seems ridiculous.On the whole experience at hotel is not good. Not worth the price. Better pay a little bit more for Lotte Hotel which is in better location n better amenities.Sorry for poor review 😱
