La Baguette du Relais

We really enjoyed it. It's not the best food of my life but I think It's worth it. We were there on a Saturday afternoon, there was a line but it miedo pretty quickly. We waited for around 20 minutes. I got the XL (medium size) and it was a good size. There are like 6 tables outside, not a lot but it moves quickly so you might find where to seat, however you have all the people in line all over you, so we took it, walked 5 minutes in front of the hotel de ville and ate there with a nice view and on a picnic table.

Sandwich is very simple: fresh, not overly crispy baguette, entrecote sauce, fries and steak. Overall good, just did not WOW me. I went on a Saturday at 3 and had to queue for around 20 minutes (line would probably go a little faster if people were less indecisive, but alas). Once you pay the second line moves much faster. Staff is nice and respectful.

We both enjoyed the classic sandwich, which after a long morning of walking around Paris, truly hit the spot. They were pretty busy and didn’t have much seating so we walked down to the seine and ate on a bench. If you’re big into meat, you may upgrade because the regular doesn’t have much. A must try lunch spot in Paris.

Absolutely delicious Buttery, crispy baguette, flavoursome special sauce, melt in the mouth steak amd crunchy Fries.... just the most perfect baguette Grabbed that bad boy and went and found the perfect spot to eat it. Perfect sandwich with a perfect view.... Parfait! Also, go when it's just opened... the queue wasn't too bad.

It's delicious! The best part is the sauce. The sandwich is so big you could even share it. We liked it so much that we came back a few days later.

The steak was really good, but the bread was pretty dry and hard. The fries and the sauce were great too. The portions are pretty good but too expensive in my opinion. Service wasn’t anything to write home about either and the spot itself is pretty small. Fun place to try, but I wouldn’t go again.

The best steak and chip baguette I have had!! When we found this place on google it was one we both 100% needed to visit, the baguette was amazing, steak cooked to perfection and just delicious! I think we shared a XL one which we could have both eaten one. The prices are very reasonable,sandwiches are amazing, you definitely need to try these if you are in the area!! Only a small place with outdoor seating and can be very busy.

Oh my… I’m still dreaming of this sandwich. Don’t just read reviews, try things yourself! I almost didn’t come here after reading reviews but I actually very much enjoyed this sandwich. The baguette was nice and soft and the meat surprised me! It was so tender and the sauce and fries just went so well with it. Wish I could have gone back at least once more. I was there at 6pm on a Sunday and there was no line.
