I came here specifically because of the great reviews I’ve heard of this place, and that it was one of the places you can’t miss when in Paris. Honestly, it was pretty underwhelming. I got the XL (the medium option) and even then I didn’t think there was quite enough meat in the sandwich. It was just mostly packed with fries. The meat was really tender though but flavour-wise, it was just okay. The sauce was delicious but, like the meat, I felt there wasn’t enough of it in the sandwich. They charge an extra €2.50 for extra sauce which I think is quite ridiculous. The sandwich was jam-packed with fries though, but I guess it’s the least they could do considering I paid €20 for it already. The experience of the sandwich itself was rather underwhelming. Most of the time I was only tasting bread, and the bread wasn’t that great anyway. I was first in line on the day I went and I only got my sandwich 14 minutes after ordering, so I’d imagine there would be a longer wait if you came at a time when there’s a long line. Overall I’d say that this place can be skipped, I wouldn’t come down specifically for it. For the price you pay, I think you can get a better experience elsewhere or even pay a bit more for a much better experience.

The service here is truly excellent—friendly and efficient. The concept is simple, offering one item in three sizes, which keeps things straightforward. However, the steak baguette itself didn’t stand out for me. It felt more like a quick grab-and-go fast food option rather than something special. While convenient, I personally prefer enjoying steak in a dine-in setting where it can be better appreciated. I gave it a try, but I don’t see myself coming back for it .

Found this sandwich shop close to our hotel and thought we'd give it a try. We walked by quite often and saw it was busy most of the time. Limited menu but that's a good thing sometimes. The sandwich was actually quite good. Steak was decent quality and asked for rare. It came out rare. There's only outdoor seating but very limited. The staff wasn't too friendly but to be honest that's common in Paris. Doesn't really mean anything bad. Funnily enough her colleagues were talking about it in French to her.

If you’re craving an incredible steak sandwich, La Baguette du Relais is a must-visit! The baguette is perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with tender, flavorful steak. The signature sauce ties everything together beautifully. The service is quick, and the ambiance has a nice Parisian touch. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or indulging in a treat, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend!

This is a must-visit spot if you’re in Paris! The food is amazing — the baguette is fresh, the meat is super tasty, and the fries are just perfect. Everything together is next-level good. I totally recommend it!

Fries and the meat was fine but there was a weird taste in the sauce that I didn't really like. But that doesn't necessarily mean the sandwich was bad, it was just not my thing. As for the place, there's not enough place to stay and eat there especially if you're with your friends.

If someone was going to Paris this is the one place I’d tell them to go to for food. The second I bit into the perfectly crispy fresh baguette, sinked my teeth into tender steak, salty fries, and the flavor explosion green sauce I knew this would be a sandwich I would think about for years. After demolishing my part of the sandwich I sat back and thought to myself how lucky I am to eat this sandwich and how I want everyone I love or even remotely like to experience the flavor experience that this sandwich was. I would place it in top 3 meals I’ve ate since arriving in Europe and top 3 sandwich I’ve had in my entire life

One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in Paris. The steak is tender and perfectly cooked. The baguette is fresh and the sauce is absolutely incredible. Definitely a must visit!
