La Baguette du Relais

Had an amazing experience at La Baguette du Relais today. I ordered the classic steak XL with fries, and honestly it was exceptional. The steak was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of rich flavor every bite was mouth-watering. The fries were crispy, light, and the perfect side to go with the steak. Service was smooth, the atmosphere was great, and overall it was one of those meals you immediately want to come back for. Highly recommended for anyone craving a proper, flavorful steak experience.

Our first experience at this place was disappointing. They claimed to be open on January 1st, but when we arrived, there was already a crowd waiting. A man appeared behind the glass door and simply asked us to leave. We decided to give it another chance on the second day and were pleasantly surprised. The sandwich was delicious, and the cashier was incredibly friendly. This place is definitely worth a visit for a quick and satisfying bite.

We really enjoyed it. It's not the best food of my life but I think It's worth it. We were there on a Saturday afternoon, there was a line but it miedo pretty quickly. We waited for around 20 minutes. I got the XL (medium size) and it was a good size. There are like 6 tables outside, not a lot but it moves quickly so you might find where to seat, however you have all the people in line all over you, so we took it, walked 5 minutes in front of the hotel de ville and ate there with a nice view and on a picnic table.

Four stars, mainly because the lady ( with long lashes) at the till seemed quite stressed and spoke in a rather sharp tone, she was angry, frowning and felt unsettling. Aside from that, the sandwich is excellent. The steak is cooked perfectly medium, the fries are properly French and crunchy, and the sauce is absolutely out of this world. The packaging, atmosphere, and overall setup are spot on. This is exactly the kind of quick place you’d happily travel for and queue up to try.

A small and simple menu. We all ordered the classic and it was delicious. Mmm steak, fries and garlic sauce all in a baguette!! The queue is on the path, alongside the road. You queue to order and the wait outside in front of the shop - they call your number once ready. Only 2 allowed to order in the shop at one time. Small selection of seating under the awning, no heaters!

The best baguette I ever had in my life. The source is delicious so is the meat and the french fries. I think the price could be lower but the experience is amazing! Can't wait to come back do Paris and try again

We stopped for a quick lunch and it turned out to be one of our favorite lunches. The baguette was divine. It has some high top tables outside but you eat and leave since it’s busy restaurant. Will definitely return back to Paris just for this haha.

Overhyped TikTok place. It’s basically just a canteen with three tall tables outside right on the pavement. Baguette was semi-cold. It took 1 min to get it after the order which obviously meant everything is just sitting there. Got the normal baguette which was my mistake since it had very little meat inside. So, I ended up with a baguette moist from just sauce and a bunch of cold fries. Anyway, mediocre food and ugly atmosphere.
