La Baratte

"A small brick house in a residential neighbourhood has been home to this family-run eatery for four generations. The stylish, contemporary dining room opens onto a pretty garden and teak decked terrace. The chef impressively crafts enticing dishes, such as sautéed snails in a light frothy garlic and parsley emulsion and a bacon-flavoured cake. The after-dinner marshmallow treats are almost too pretty to eat!" - Michelin Inspector

We've been there a few days ago for the first time. Globally very good. The courses were fine, I had a piece of veal as a main course that was a bit small though, and we couldn't find the point of the popcorn as an apetizer, a bit tasteless from our standpoint. But we are quite demanding 😃. Don't hesitate if you are looking for fine food it's the right place, and service is very nice. To top it all, this is the only restaurant I've been to so far where you can taste the champagne before having it served.

I was looking for a true French restaurant. The hotel suggested La Baratte, and they weren't wrong. The reception was excellent. Atmosphere was great. The service was better than expected. I had the duck liver which was good quality and perfectly cooked and their calf specialty was truly amazing. The chef did impress me in fact. Thanks for the exceptional meal and service.

A nice and cosy restaurant Service could be better. It started out with a very warm welcome, but as we were sat down at our table, directly in the middle of everyone else, we waited for at least 15 minutes before a waiter/waitress came to us. This was inspite that they were serving the other tables around us several times, which kinda made it feel like they were ignoring ours and also made it a bit awkward to us. We were served by different waiters this evening and there are definitely some language barriers, when only one waitress completely understands English. Other than that: food was great.

Excellent restaurant !!! Wonderful service and tasty dishes, this is a place where French cuisine is taken at its highest level. Cuisine gastronomique with good portions for real people, cocktail adn dishes were just amazing 10/10. One starter on the house, to finish one cookie, meringue and guimauve to enjoy witj your coffe. A lovely place to try which is open on sunday. I recommend it 1000%

Yelp
Although away from the main city, the restaurant was amazing. Serving traditional northern France food, it also provides the friendly-yet-formal service expected in the region. The canard in cheese sauce was absolutely fabulous. Although I wasn't thrilled with the creme brûlée (it was a touch overdone), the little extra foods given for free (including amazing bread, a gout de maison and gourmet marshmallows) more than made up for that. We went for a business lunch and had an amazing time!
