La Bella has been my go to Italian restaurant for years and the food and service were always outstanding. Recently though something has changed. A couple weeks ago I ordered a white pizza with broccoli and it had way more ricotta was used than normal, it overpowered the flavor of the broccoli and the garlic sauce. The wings I ordered with it were good, but had absolutely no spice to them. Last night I ordered chicken parm, which was about a 3rd of the size it normal is and was still $26. I also ordered a meatball parm sub and there was barely any sauce on it and the meatballs were dry, crumbling, and unseasoned. The delivery also missed it's window by almost 20 minutes, and while the driver apologized all of the food was cold. So either he didn't use a warming bag, or the order was forgotten at the restaurant and allowed to get cold instead of being remade. I'm not sure what's been going on lately, but La Bella needs to show up if I'm going to get ordering from here.

Ordered Dine-in and takeout 2 consecutive days as I was staying in the area for a friend and W O W. I tried the frutti Di Mare with spicy sauce and requested more spice and they did not disappoint. The portion, the atmosphere. A masterpiece. The Nutella sundae was MASSIVE I expected a tiny spoonful of ice cream but was given what could be compared to share sizes today. The next day I ordered a Margherita with hot sausage and 😍. Truly divine. The pizza is made with love, care and true skill. As someone from the north jersey/nyc area i was really happy to find a place that captures the essence of what it means to be an ITALIAN RESTAURANT. An absolute must try, please do not sleep on this place. This is now my new favorite Italian restaurant and I will gladly travel 2 hrs north to come here again.

It was great to finally find a local restaurant that doesn't have soggy eggplant parmesean! The ambience even during lunch was great.

Great Italian food nice facilities good service good cocktails spaghetti sauce was delicious 3 Chicken something dishes all delicious can’t remember names 1 brown 1 Cream and 1 white wine sauce So back visiting and had to come back, the salad and house dressing was delicious could have been my meal but then the Bruschetta appeared and disappeared delicious and the entrees Veal Marsala, Chicken Lemon, Rigatoni chicken vodka all super dishes to top the Canola best ever score 10 outa 10

Amazing food. I have dined here with my family for many years by now, it’s on the top of our list to go to when we eat out. Great service. Clean bathroom. Great atmosphere-although years ago they had a pianist and that really added to the atmosphere and they don’t have a pianist anymore but it’s still a great atmosphere. Great for kids, teens, adults, and all sorts of people. We have also gotten pizza delivered as well. Plenty of parking space.

You would THINK that a “pizza place” in a strip mall with a grocery store might be a disappointment. Well guess again !!!! I’m sad that I didn’t remember how good this Italian restaurant is and I haven’t been here in a few years. It’s not in my regular line of travel, but I may have to change that. The place is neat, clean, and well decorated. The food is incredible (although…prepare for a healthy taste of garlic, as it should be with good Italian food) Some of the best gnocchi I’ve ever had, AWESOME garlic knots, and HUGE steamed clams with a big taste too. Our server, ZACK, is a class act !!! Give him a raise.

The food here is absolutely incredible. We asked La Bella if they could deliver to a 14-person gathering - they were incredibly accommodating and it was all seamless. All guests were raving about the food - we got multiple types of pasta and two pizzas. Everyone still talks about how much they enjoyed the meal!

Labella's "Valatie" is amazing. I do not believe it is affiliated or related to any other labella's in our area or elsewhere. This place has it all. Great wine list, great pizza, delicious entrees, great service and huge portions /good value for price point. The in house made "house" salad dressing is the bomb. It's a balsamic something. The cannolis are better than most anywhere and large. I've been on a cannoli kick over the last year or 2 and this was better than any, including from Italian bakeries that I've had recently. The wine list is expansive and at $11 a glass, with a great pour, is reasonable, as is the bottle prices. I've been many times for both eat in and pizza for take out AND attended a catered event here and they really get everything right all the time. See you there!

4.25 Although we weren't too hungry, it was getting late and we needed to eat. We looked up Italian food options, and while there weren't too many choices in the area, this place's pizza looked really good--so we decided to give it a try. You walk in and the space feels much larger than expected--high ceilings with some familiar décor I've seen in other Italian restaurants, like small statues, vines, and painted scenery. You could also tell that this is a popular local spot, since it seemed like the staff knew several of the guests personally. We ordered a medium Margherita pie and a Penne alla Vodka--both simple and safe choices. The pasta dish came with a side salad (choice of house or Caesar), which was perfect. Note: if you prefer a small amount of dressing, you may want to ask for it on the side. We did make that request, but unfortunately, the server seemed to have forgotten, and our salad came drenched. We didn't mention it, though, because we weren't that hungry and just ate what we could before moving on. That said, the pizza and penne were both excellent. The pizza had that great brick oven flavor, fresh mozzarella, and a robust tomato sauce. The Penne alla Vodka was also flavorful and nicely seasoned. If you're ever in the area and in the mood for Italian food, definitely check this place out.

Last couple times we ordered pizza from LaBella's it wasn't as great as it normally is. Not as crispy not or flavorful.....Tried it out again and got some garlic parm wings. These definitely were neither garlic nor parm,they tasted more like an Italian dressing. They were okay. I wouldn't order them again. The thing that annoyed me most was we got 10 wings in an order which is a nice size and this is the photo of the carrots we got in the order. They were wrapped up really tight in aluminum and this get was what we got. 4 unpeeled really old carrots. Seriously. I think the best idea is to eat dinner at LaBella's versus getting takeout. It is really quite good when you dine in, but the lack of attention to detail is something you can't call out when you're not at the restaurant and you're home already.

Love the food/vibes & staff but had to remove a star for one repetitive crucial reason. I have ordered online from them for football sundays upwards of 7 times now and every. single. time. Without fail the veggie toppings are left off. The first 2 times we considered it a mistake, by 3,4 & 5 i made it a habit to check the pizza before taking a step towards the door and had to ask for our veg toppings. This last time i finally asked if the veg options don't show up online or on the chef receipt and saw with my own eyes they were on both. I have no idea what it is or why it happens but be warned. If you order Sunday and ask for a veg topping on your pizza you will not get it. Either that or we are truly the most unlucky patrons.

Lovely staff and a menu to satisfy anyone. This big, boisterous eatery caters to a local crowd that likes pizza, melted cheese, and sports on TV. But take a good look at the menu. . The orechiette with broccoli rabe is the real deal, with that bitter green served proudly on pasta in an excellent broth. Some decent wines to go with the pasta, too. All in all, they're serving some real Italian food, and betting you'll like it.

As a Hudson native, I've always enjoyed pizza from LA Bella's. Now living in NC I crave NY style pizza more often than not. While visiting last weekend, I made sure to pay a visit. I sat at the bar during a Saturday afternoon & ordered a glass of Montepulciano & a medium pepperoni & sausage. Both were delicious! The service is always on point & the other patrons were friendly. Can't wait to get back up there.

Ciao Bella food and service!! I eat here once a week and it is amazingly good each and every time!! Can't wait to see their new digs once they are built because the present location is a warm, inviting place!

Charming little restaurant in the Hannaford shopping plaza. Started off with the Italian egg rolls. I thought they were ok , a little bland . Ordered the pear salad with house dressing . The salad was delicious and the house dressing was yummy. Kind of reminded me of thousand island meets balsamic vinegar . Next came a traditional medium cheese pie . I thought my hubby went to heaven . It was so good , thin crust and appropriate amount of sauce and cheese . We were a little disappointed in the cannoli with gelato . It was small and the cannoli was dried out. Service was fantastic . As we were leaving , they were preparing for dinner and they have the modern lamps that they put on the tables. Next time I would like to come for dinner and take in the ambiance.

The food here is very good and the wines are reasonably priced. The service is inconsistent. On our most recent visit, we were a large party and ordered a pizza to go in addition to our meals. The waiter never brought that pizza out and we forgot about it until we got home. We called the next day and the waiter who served us was not nice about the situation. He told us to let them know the next time we are there and we could get a credit. It was an ambiguous offer and I will report back when we visit next time to see if they make good on this. I would hate to not recommend this place after having been a supporter for so long.

It's the quality. They do not skimp on quality. The food! The selection. The service. We eat there at least once a week. If you aren't bringing half your meal home, you're over eating! Dinners come with my favorite tossed salad. The soups and salads are terrific. Everything is homemade. The grandma's pizza is addictive. Best cup of coffee in town too.

Love the food! People seems friendly and professional. My only complaint: ordered food for delivery, person put food on porch, we never hears them knock (wife heard car door closed so we got up to go to the door which is less then 20 feet from where we were sitting) and when we opened the door we say person driving away. Glad we weren't out and got to the door. We live in the woods and there are tons of wildlife, so it is feasible that it could attract racoon theft.

we ordered online , my boyfriend went to to go pick it up. They said someone gave our order to somebody else so they redid our order. He had to wait literally 45 more minutes for them to re-create the order. not sure why they didn't know what was included in the original order under his name. My boyfriend assuming that the order was correct the second timecame home and it wasn't our order again. What a cluster F. They tried to say that my boyfriend confirmed the order. He wasn't even the one that order he was the one just picking it up under his name. After calling them and explaining the situation, they tried to give us a credit and they tried to blame my boyfriend because he confirmed the order, but he never actually placed the order. He was only the one picking it up..

We have been coming to Labella's for years. We love their food! We were disappointed tonight. The wine was too warm, the salad was warm as if it wasn't refrigerated and the portion size for the chicken parm was what I would consider a lunch portion. We want to go back and we're hoping it was just a Monday night mishap. Hoping this review will allow for this to be better next time!

I was skeptical to try La Bella Valatie as it looked like another generic "Italian" restaurant with subpar food, but after seeing the high ratings I decided to give it a try. Well, I wish I trusted my instincts because the food was terrible. To put into perspective, I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and it was awful. To elaborate, the fettuccine was not homemade and definitely just boxed pasta. Furthermore, there was virtually no Alfredo sauce on the pasta and it tasted like I was eating butter noodles. I'm honestly not sure if there was any sauce at all on the pasta. It's honestly remarkable they charged $23 for such low quality food. You would think you would put some effort into your food, but I guess some restaurants just don't care. When it's all said and done, La Bella Valatie has terrible Italian food and their fettuccine Alfredo is probably the worst I've ever had.

Terrible service. 45 minute wait to be seated for a reservation. Drink order not completely delivered and a member of the party had to chase down the sever. Food order scrambled and delivered a salad when soup was corrected. Checks were scrambled. They apologized and indicated they were slammed. The individual who identified as manager was hopeless. Good was good but service stunk.

Everything I eat in this menu is delicious! The service is great! The ambiance is very cute! I have had 14 different dishes and I love all but one. (I did not like the pork chops, maybe I wasn't in the mood) Great people, reasonable prices... everyone should eat here. Thank you

Have eaten here many, many times and have never been disappointed. A few weeks ago we had a 70th birthday party for my husband for 21 people and again we were not disappointed. As usual the service was fantastic. The people working there are amazing. Out of 21 different meals ordered, not one was wrong. There wasn't one of the guests disappointed in their meals. We've been back since and will continue to go whenever we want a good meal with a great atmosphere and wonderful service. By the way, the portions are big enough, that I always take home enough for a second meal.

Best Pizza we have found in the area! And we tried quite a few ! We love really good pizza! Spoiled after many trips to Italy and living in NYC were kinda picky! La Belle has the best pizza around and the prices are good too! I can't go by without stopping for a pizza to go. The other food all looks amazing and we keep saying we need to go sit down and have a meal but haven't yet- I'm sure we won't be disappointed !! Now I'm going in for my pizza now !!

Celebrated my birthday last night and ordered our favorite meals from this restaurant. I had a blast and enjoyed the food so much. Love the atmosphere, the food and the service. Their quality is amazing and I will go every time! Can't wait to go back!

The first time I went with friends to La Bella I was sure it was a small pizza place, it's in a strip mall with a coors light sign in the window. Imagine my surprise when I walked in to an actual real life restaurant. It's been the place we've been picking up pizza for a while because what I can get delivered is abysmal. It's worth the 40 minute round trip. We've stopped for lunch a few times while running errands. The food was good, it was convenient and enjoyable. This past Friday my daughter, sister and I went to dinner before the Kinderhook tree lighting. My daughter is disable and this was her first time in a restaurant since the shut down. The receipt said that Nate was our waiter and so I want to give him a huge shoutout. He'd waited on my husband and I a few times before and he was wonderful. My daughter was so excited she could barely speak but he took great care of us. We had spaghetti and meatballs, a pizza and a panini. The food was good but the service is what made it exceptional.

Stopped into this local favorite today. Kind of last-minute decision. Was greeted with friendly faces and an energetic atmosphere. Zack and Crew were extremely friendly and polite.

The best pizza within 30 mins we have found ! We live good pizza and this is delish! The restaurant is beautiful and hope to stay and have dinner there but can't get past pick up Pizza!!!

Absolutely love the atmosphere here! We celebrated my birthday last night too- it's definitely one of the most upscale Italian restaurants in the area close to Schodack Landing. The candles, assortment of wine and delicious entrees are incredible. The Margarita and Grandmother pizzas are my favorite! I also loved the Shrimp salad! So good! The prices are a little high, but worth it! Best pizza in town and upstate! Would love to come back again!

we order from la bella because they deliver to us but after this I'm thinking we'll try something else. this pie was ordered as "extra well done" and should definitely be on them. awful.

We have eaten here in the past and I thought it was good. Love the house salad dressing. But tonight we got takeout and it was all downright delicious. Plain cheese pizza was so tasty. Pasta Fagioli is the real deal. So flavorful. Highly recommend that. Eggplant parm was also delicious. Everything we ordered was just what we wanted. Love this place.

Great food - both dine in or take out. Service is always prompt and appropriate, even when it's busy (often the case!) Large portions of Italian favorites. Dining room is nice enough for special occasions- real table clothes etc. Concrete floors creat a bit more noise during busy times that can be hard for those with hearing issues. It is however wheel chair friendly!

Good pizza with good service. One of the few places that offer a real thick Sicilian. I like their everything, traditional pizza best. The Italian food is good also but a little pricey.

Food is delicious as always. The owner stands behind his business and if anything goes wrong he fixes and amends.

I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could. My husband and I have been eating here for years and the service and food are both excellent! I should have written a review years ago to show my support because they deserve it.

Very good pizza, fairly priced, is professionally and accurately served consistently by lovely staff people. Hot Italian subs and squash blossoms are also vg!

I used to absolutely love this place. All the food is outstanding. The pizza was 5 stars..until they recently CHANGED it. Why in God's name is the pizza now paper thin? Ever hear the saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"? Please bring back the crust that made you famous !

Wonderful service and dinner for 23 following a golf outing at Winding Brook. Rodrigo was our waiter and he did an awesome job with our orders. He followed up with us and was very pleasant to work with. It was a Saturday night and even though there were people waiting, we never felt like we were being rushed. All staff was very pleasant. Definitely recommend LaBellas in Valatie in the Hannaford Plaza.

Once again, our LaBella's visit was outstanding! We celebrate our siblings' birthdays here, and each time, we are totally satisfied with the food and service. We ordered off the lunch menu from pasta fagoil, sandwiches to pasta dishes, and the food was plentiful besides very enjoyable ( delicious). Zach did an outstanding job taking care of us (as he Always does) . I brought in a cake, which he sliced and served us. Half of us had leftovers to bring home as we couldn't eat all of our meal. I also ordered a meat calzone and kids spaghetti & meatball to go, which every drop of both items were eaten. Valatie La Bella's deserves every success that comes their way!

The place was deadass Le-Flame Although feeling like an outsider the ambiance was great. Felt like I was in Nonna backyard where she grows grapes for wine and cooks for a minimum of 13 people a Sunday night. After ordering the calamari I knew in my heart it was as fresh as opening up a brand new pair of Nike air force 1. The chicken Parm immaculate... There has to be a guy in the back makin the mozz fresh. The basil on the chicken tasted like it was Tuscan grown with a dabble of New York tap water. All in alll the chicken Parm was as good as can be. After the meal I asked myself, would I take a trip from the Bronx to eat here again? Probably not but I would definitely stop on my way Canada aka the 6 .... If you need a great Italian meal in the middle of no where. Pop out and pull up to La Bella's Pizzeria & Restaurants

Not consistent . Ordered a pizza for takeout, same as two weeks ago. This time the pizza dough was totally dead, and tasted like cardboard. The toppings were good as before, but the lack of any rise to the dough made it inedible. I'll try 4 guys next time.

I've eaten here several times and the food and service have always been good. Last Saturday afternoon I called and ordered three pies to be delivered at a specific time that evening. The pizzas arrived hot and exactly on time. They were exceptionally good. We were 8 people and everyone loved the pizza but even better, I got to offer my friends a food they never had or heard of before: Italian Eggroll. Delicious. Thanks La Bella!

We order from here pretty regularly and also dine in and it is usually good. Tonight we ordered for delivery and it took over and hour and half to get the food. We don't mind waiting and expect it, what I did not expect was one burnt pizza ,2 pizzas that were cold and like cardboard and 2 dozen soggy wings for a 100.00 When i called to voice our concern the person who answered did offer to pick up the order and make new food and send it. While it was a nice offer had we took it , we would have been over 3 hours from start to finish... not what you want when ypu have 6 hungry people who were anxiously waiting on the first order. When I explained this the person on the phone was like, sorry we will try and do better next time. Honestly I do not know if there will be a next time, I was disappointed that there was no other option given, and not that I was expecting much, but to spend 100 on pizzas and wings and have it show up in the condition that it did ,to not even offer up a free pie next time we order....unfortunately it puts in perspective the importance they put on customer satisfaction and retention. I would say if you call for a delivery and they tell you it will be more than 45 min for delivery either cancel or be prepared for cold soggy food.

Really good pizza, and in an area that's sorely lacking for other decent pizza options. I ordered a large pie with mushrooms (fresh, not canned!) and hot sausage. The sausage was crumbled, which I prefer, but both toppings were applied a little sparsely. The crust was very thin and a little on the plain side, but it had that nice touch of chewiness that I always appreciate. Although it was crisp on the edges, the middle of the pie got a little too soft and thin. The sauce was generously applied and had a slightly salty taste without too much other seasoning. The cheese was a perfect thin, melted layer holding everything together. I enjoyed this pizza quite a bit. The execution of the crust in the middle of the pie wasn't perfect, but perhaps slightly more cooking time or toppings with a little less grease would make the difference.

I was traveling through New York and ordered delivery from here. I called before the delivery time started( I think it was 3:19. Delivery starts at 4 pm). But I was able to order still and got my meal delivered around 4:30. I'm very happy with the service I received. I got the pizza Bella Cacciatore I asked for extra cheese which seemed like I barely got any cheese instead. Pizza was so so. It was something different than what I would usually order. But let me tell you..... this pasta "Rigatoni la Bella" was literally the best thing I have ever ate. I was so amazed at the taste. It was so delicious. It came with salad and garlic bread. Yummmm. I would definitely be stopping here again just for the pasta and maybe to explore the menu.

I love this local eatery. Per my original one line review. I'd like to update that :-) The service can be a bit slow if you are there during peak dinner rush. Ok the food, well I only order a few items from the menu. Chicken Scarpariello, its by far my favorite dish on the menu, I'll order it every chance I get. Its a chopped (I think) chicken breast with penne pasta, red peppers, spinach, jalapeño and in a white wine sauce. Its got a bit of a bite, but its ooh so good. I usually ask them to kick mine up a notch, but it maybe fine for most of the mere mortals out there. The take out vs dine in portions are quite different, the take out come with a salad, garlic bread and its quite larger than dine in. The salad is what my wife and oldest daughter usually get with the house dressing. I've had their pizza, but I prefer the margarita pizza to a regular cheese pie. I love the margarita pizza when I'm in the mood its awesome. I keep going back, because the food is the best in my little town when I don't want to drive to albany or east greeenbush. Keep up the good work!!

We had a gr8 time with our friends here. Down to earth. Waitress was helpful. And the food was just what we planned for. Chianti, martini and pelligrino! Sicilian Cheese Grandma Pizza and Large pizza (1/2 mushroom) and salad!! Of course some of the folks had to get the tiramisu!! It all was perfect to celebrate the girls getting together!! Thank you for helping us to bond even more (if that's possible!)

We order here just about every week! Food is always consistently good. They developed an organized plan for take out during the pandemic to keep their patrons safe!

Fantastic Owners and Simply the BEST Pizza. Sometimes you just need some Pizza for the family after a hectic day. Their Hot Buffalo Chicken Buffalo and Rustica Pizza are superb! My boys loved it! Can't say enough about the kind owners too! Looking forward to going out to dinner there sometime soon because it is a great place for a family meal as well! 5 Stars! You will not be disappointed.

Consistently excellent food, fantastic service, cold beer and clean bathrooms. If you want to go Fri night get a reservation or wait 45 min. Their house salad dressing is out of this world.

Excellent specialty pizzas! Their service is always professional and friendly. Nice atmosphere. Right now it's contact free curbside pickup, efficiently carried out. Can't wait until they can reopen!

An incredible Italian restaurant. Felice is so friendly and drives to show each customer appreciation for their business. The food is second to none My favorite eggplant and formaggio pie.

This place was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious the staff more than accommodating. We live in Guilderland but will definitely be making a trip back. Soo happy we found this hidden gem. Thank you for the hospitality with our rowdy baseball team.
