"For a decade, chef Diego Hernandez earned accolades for his daily tasting menus at the acclaimed Valle de Guadalupe restaurant Corazon de Tierra, including a spot on Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants. Now he just wants to jam. La Bête Noir is the place to chill, drink, and enjoy a menu of rotating bar bites made with local ingredients. The motto here is, ironically, “keep Ensenada boring.” Inhale powerful, ferocious background tunes from Miles Davis’s revolutionary Bitches Brew album while sipping on inspired cocktails created by Alexandra Pucaru and snacking on local yellowfin tuna crudo with harissa, rich spider crab salad, or beef tongue spiced with Yemeni hot sauce. Jonathan and Andrea are the best!!!! Professional bartender (Andrea is an award winning mixologist in fact), waitstaff and managers. Extremely upscale bar along with a few others. Come check it out!! Classy Dress to impress if you're up for it. A lot of young people. Fantastic DJ on Saturday starting at 10pm. Fantastic sound system. All around Great vibes. Very friendly. Must go check out this nightlife area. Bodega de Santo Tomás.

Good experience with unique foods and drinks. The oysters were really good, the octopus pizza was surprisingly good to, and the drink selection was decent. They played vinyl records the whole time with different variety and tempo old school music. The vibe was good for a Monday.

Google
super hip spot with the best food in ensenada (that i’ve had). they also have DJ’s at ngiht, check their instagram for the schedule. ordered the fried partridge and it was fried to perfection with the meat still moist & super tender. the pumpkin purée it came with and the cocktails weren’t to my taste but i’d definitely come back to try more of the menu.

Great decor but prices were through the roof. They opened one hour later than listed on Google; not sure if owner can edit that to avoid inconveniences? Prices were not just expensive for Mexico but expensive for the U.S. Part of the fun of visiting Mexico is you get a bang for your buck. I understand that some people are ok with that and that's great! It's just not for me or anyone who loves getting a bang for their buck.

This bad review goes directly to the floor manager of this place. Long story short we needed the manger to help out to solve a misunderstanding with our sever (who was actually pretty nice) but instead he made the situation really ugly. I was so shocked by his attitude. Mexico is known for their friendly and great people; this man was AWFUL AND SUPER RUDE.
