A sophisticated restaurant offering an imaginative way of preparing and presenting traditional Spanish cuisine. The cold Tomato Soup & the foie gras were excellent. The Solomillo and the Veal Carretillas were superb. Make sure you don’t miss the Vasca Cheesecake. The waitstaff was helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

We ate inside on a Friday evening. The food and ambience are wonderful. I particularly recommend the Russian Salad. The service could be improved. On arrival our first greeting was “we need the table back by 9:45” and that set the tone for the rest of the meal. Ordinarily we appreciate prompt service, but this was different levels with plates being taken away while you were finishing your last mouthful. Some staff members were friendly, others a little terse I recommend going for the food but hope you have a better service experience than we did

It was a dinner with a tasting menu: appetizers, two soups, fish, meat, and dessert, with a wine pairing for each course. There was really a lot of food, so if you are planning to come for the tasting menu as well, it’s better to arrive very hungry! Overall, everything was at the highest level. The service was excellent — the waiters were extremely friendly. The only thing is that few of the waiters spoke English, and it would have been nice to have an explanation of each dish in English.

An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Every dish at La Bien Aparecida showcases refined technique and deep respect for traditional Spanish flavors. The ingredients are clearly top-quality, and the presentation is elegant without being overdone. The service was attentive yet discreet, and the ambiance struck a perfect balance between modern sophistication and warmth. A true gem in the heart of Madrid – highly recommended for those seeking a memorable and elevated meal. A big Shout Out for Lyn Amore from the kitchen we enjoyed her burrata salad.

❤️Terrina de foie gras de patio ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - a must order - get this and save some of your bread for it - really smooth with a super mild liver taste - intentionally paired Ensalada de burrata fresca ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - my boyfriend loves this one for the freshness - I think it's just ok, like I wouldn't reorder it, but it was super fresh and good Merzula de anzuelo ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ - love the green salsa - the clams were really yummy - super delicate Arroz de almejas ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ - hearty - delicious and flavorful - loved the cream Helado con queso ⭐⭐✨ - not for me - more of a bleu cheese taste l

Excellent food combined with cosy atmosphere is a recipe for good times and long lasting memories. La Bien Aparecida did not disappoint. I was very happy to find this great restaurant, close to where I was staying. Friday night is always challenging to find a table, but hey, these guys accommodated yours truly (others couldn’t). Highly recommended! P.S. The hake with lobster tail was delicious. The freshly baked bread too.

Yelp
The staff and overall ambiance at La Bien Aparecida is so lovely! We tried the tasting menu which came with 7 courses and left us absolutely stuffed. There were some hits and misses but the highlights were the steak tartare, eggplant, and cheesecake dishes. Some of the fish dishes were too salty for our taste and we relied heavily on bread to get us through those courses. If I were to come again, I'd recommend just ordering the items that interest you off of the menu vs. going with the tasting menu.

Yelp
The food was incredible. Truly. We got the tasting, and everything minus the monkfish and the duck (have to keep it real) were delicious and the presentation was beautiful. The big, obvious, and sad downside to this restaurant is the service. It was just bad. Our 7 course tasting was done in a little over an hour (very rushed), we had to pour our own wine the entire night (this is a nice restaurant), and the servers barely told us what we were eating. To be completely transparent, I think it was bc we spoke English. In sum: great food, but service was so bad I wouldn't go again. Bill was 200 Euro for 2 ppl (80 Euro per person + 40 Euro bottle of wine). I think we can have a better experience elsewhere in Madrid. #NoFoodMistakes

Yelp
Stumbled upon this spot while exploring Madrid on a very empty stomach. Great food! What We Ordered: + Croquetas cremosas de huevo cocido y lacón, 5/5 + La "Purrusalda" (láminas de pasta fresca, crema fina de bacalao, velouté suave de ajo), 5/5 (AMAZING!!) + some gnocchi and meatball dish, 4/5 Our server at the bar table was great, explained all the dishes to us. The "purrusalda" is like a piece of stuffed pasta in a light broth, heavenly! Worth trying and revisiting!

Yelp
Overpriced food taste is good but enough from my perspective they are attentive but I feel the anxiety of the people serving the wagyu beef is too sticky the croquettes are good a little bit salty but good, the price vs food need to be fixed I think the restaurant need to improve in a good way. I like the people very caring but they need more effort.

Yelp
overall food was decent. i'd give it just 3.5 if half stars were an option but since there aren't many reviews i'll go with 4. bread basket had several selections. we got the calamari to start which was just ok. too chewy for my liking. the hake with peas was nice, almost in a pea soup as opposed to a side. we got the french toast for dessert which was fine, not quite french toast, almost like a custard/creme brûlée type consistency. i do have to say we did not have a reservation and we're basically sat outside right in front of the cars despite the fact that people with reservations pretty much no-showed and there were plenty of tables in the enclosed seated area next to the street... front of house could learn from that

Yelp
Great food artistically served. Lovely outdoor area. Be sure to try the croquettes. They do have English menus as well.
