L.A. Bistro Canton

Traveling through the area and so glad we stumbled upon this gem! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive. They started us off with some unique bread that looked like muffins but pulled apart to create a pocket, almost like pita bread. I’m not sure what it’s called, but it was slightly sweet and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Steak Hummus—highly recommend! It came as a generous bowl of hummus topped with flavorful steak, accompanied by 5–6 of those amazing bread rolls. Plenty to share and packed with taste. My wife had the Chicken Almond Fettuccine, and she swears it’s the best she’s ever had. I tried a bite of the sauce, and it was incredible—rich, flavorful, and the chicken had just the right amount of crunch. I went with the Chicken Wrap and fries. The wrap was good (not mind-blowing), but honestly, I was so full from the bread and hummus that I didn’t even touch the fries. Overall, we’re so glad we found this place! If you’re in the area, definitely stop by—you won’t be disappointed.

Food is exceptionally great; definitely worth the money. Staff is willing to make modifications and the service is excellent. Although the food is pricy, it is worth the price. We’ve been here many times and the steak is always cooked perfectly. All the sides are great and overall this is the best steak house we have been too. They have a variety of proteins available depending on what you are feeling. Restaurant is great for family time and a romantic date. You can easily host large event as well.

I went here for the first time for my birthday. It was a really nice place. There's plenty of seating and the atmosphere was really relaxing and inviting. The staff are really nice and professional, great customer service. The food was amazing in both appearance and taste. I've never been somewhere and the food comes to your table looking exactly like it did in the menu picture. We had a variety of thier menu items and everyone of them was excellent. Thank you to Moe and the rest of the staff up there. I will definitely be back again 👍🏽

Excellent restraunt and food; the steak was cooked to perfection. Wonderful atmosphere. Our server Abed was amazing. He knew the menu inside out. Super friendly and helpful. He went out of her way to ensure our orders were customized to our preference. Amazing person.

Looks Nice. But Rude, Sketchy, and Unsanitary. Stay Away. The restaurant looks new and nicely decorated. Staff were initially polite, and food portions were generous. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. There was a large dead fly on our table, absolutely disgusting. I tried to overlook it, especially since the restaurant is new, but what followed made that impossible. Our server, Nano, brought us a $90 bill for two people, with no itemization, just a lump-sum total. That alone raised red flags. Still, I left a $10 tip out of courtesy. Shockingly, she returned and demanded more, saying tips must be at least 18%. That’s both inappropriate and unprofessional, especially since the receipt clearly listed tipping as “suggested,” not required. It was also unclear whether gratuity had already been added to the bill. On top of that, a soup we ordered was never brought out, yet I suspect it was still charged. So we were left questioning both the service and the billing transparency. This place may look good on the outside, but the experience was anything but. Between the hygiene issue, pushy service, and questionable billing, I can’t recommend it. Save yourself the trouble, and your money, and eat elsewhere.

Mom and I were out and about and wanted to try a new place. This had been on our list for a while, so we decided to give it a try and we are happy we finally did! We got seated pretty quickly. The staff were all very warm and welcoming. We each got the lemon chicken rice soup to ward off the chill from outside and it was some of the best I've ever had. Both our entrees were huge portion-wise and delicious. Mom had some leftovers of her chicken picatta to take home. Mine was a wrap which I didn't think would keep well with the dressing. We each got a dessert to go as well - no room to eat it in the restaurant after such generous portions. Really great service - the food was not only delicious but game out fast too.

This is our first visit. The service was absolutely amazing. Thanks Nano for your attention to detail and the great recommendations for our mixed group; vegetarians and omnivores . The food was top notch. Very flavorful and excellent presentation. An all around great food experience. We will be back!!

The chicken caesar roll up is to die for compared to any other place in the area; most places it tastes cheap.. I love the customer service i receive here, it's definitely a regulars type of place. I feel this place is a hidden gem for the location and should be your ideal spot to bring family or have a little lunch date. I always get take out here which is done so fast;; my bf loves the steak hummus. I can't wait to try the desserts menu !

This is a lovely little spot off the beaten path in Canton. It's worth looking for. The food is really tasty, and the portions are ginormous. Decor is nicely done. The staff are super attentive. Our waiter was fantastic. It's the kind of place where you'll never have to ask for anything, things will just appear as if by magic. I started with a little seafood soup number. If I'd have known how huge my entree was going to be, I would have skipped it. What a shame that would have been because the soup was delicious. It is a definite hearty type of chowder but with a lemon wedge, green onion, and creme fraiche to liven it up. I'm so glad I had it to heat up today, it's just as tasty. For my main dish, I went with almond chicken. The chicken was perfectly fried with a creamy sauce on top studded with sun-dried tomato. The rice was fluffy, and the veggies were expertly seasoned. I ended up bringing half home. It also reheated tasting amazing. My husband had the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. He really liked the pasta and said his chicken was super tender and juicy. It was a very generous portion, and he took some home too. Everything here was just superb. I can't think of a single complaint. There was a good crowd dining in and a party room full next to the dining room, but it was so peaceful and organized. Try it. I think you'll love it.

As we walked in I was taken with the sparkling decor. We were quickly greeted and seated. Our server was prompt and helpful with the menu. We had a wrap and the Sami Special, both of which were delicious. I also enjoyed a delightful Mango lemonade

Um, interesting. I'm not sure what to say. Tries to be "fine dining" but you're sitting in a slightly upgraded diner. No alcohol. The dishes are mostly in the $18-$35 range, though you could spend $85 on a steak if you wanted to. (Not here, please). All of the dishes I saw were smothered in the same white cream sauce, which tasted like a ton of butter and cream. I'm a little suspicious of all the positive reviews. But who knows, it's not to say it didn't taste good. Just a bit overpriced. My friend loved his, so to each their own!

Very good food and excellent service! A flash of upscale with down to earth prices. We had the chicken piccata and the spaghetti Aglio Olio with grilled chicken!!!

I've passed this place dozens of times! Finally decided to go on a random evening, and I'm glad I did! Everything from the appetizers to the entree was scrumptious! Just yummy to my tummy! Might I also add that the chef in the kitchen knows how to cook meats perfectly! My lamb chops and salmon were cooked to the perfect temperature ! The only thing that needed a little bit more love was the mashed potatoes. Some butter, some salt, some pepper.... something. Just kind of bland. But I put the sauce from the salmon on it so it didn't take away from this great entree. Our waiter was super amazing. He was funny, attentive, and a delight to talk to. We enjoyed his company as well.

The ambiance is pretty cool. Inside is simple and elegant. The outdoor patio is comfortable and wonderful with flowers and open air (see pictures). Service was attentive and over the top welcoming. Al, the owner, personally ensured that our experience was perfect. The food was delicious & fresh. Highly recommended! A hidden gem.

Everything I have ever tried here has been outstanding. Somehow they create just the right blend of sauces, spices and preparation for every dish. Service is fast and friendly. They have an easy-to-use electronic tablet to display the menu so can see a photo and detailed description of every dish. They do not serve alcohol, but they do have interesting drinks and coffee drinks. I normally like a drink with my meal but I'm happy to forego that for food this good.

Came here for the first time with family. I was excited to try the almond chicken dish. We got calamari which I thought was good. Firecracker shrimp should be revamped or renamed because everyone on the table thought it was just lathered with bbq sauce there was nothing spicy or Asian about it. Almond chicken meal was delicious. Chicken parm was good but the pasta was drowning in what looked like vodka sauce or something I took one but and it was just too much to handle. My niece got a dish that was almost very lacking in flavor. The booths need updating as well the cloth where u put ur back r dirty from kids smearing food or whatever on them. Service I thought was good. 3/5 for those reasons.

One of our favorite restaurants! We travel 50 minutes to come eat here! The almond chicken is amazing, such a unique flavor I've never had. The cream of broccoli soup is by far the best I've ever had. Of course the bread you get to start is so good. My boyfriend loves their veggie burger. You have to give this place a try! I'm so glad we stumbled upon it when we went to ikea.

We went to L. A. Bistro Canton today for the first time. Both the food and service were 5 Star quality. Alta had our table she was extremely welcoming, The restaurant is very clean and the food is delicious and healthy. We have found a new favorite restaurant!

This was a place we chose based on location rather than reputation, but it did not disappoint. Service was great (even for our part of seven), and the meals were tasty and filling.

Fresh food. Ample serving sizes. Great service!! Excellent marinated beef on grilled pita! Yummy potato wedges!

I was excited to dine in here as the previous pickup order was good. When I tried to reserve a table, they said they take reservations only for 6 and above. When we walked in we were told there was a 25 minute wait & we were seated shortly after 5 minutes. They did make us wait to be seated even when they had empty tables. Nice ambience. Restaurant was clean. Outdoor seating looks good with indoor plants and lights. This is more like Italian and Mediterranean flair. Comfortable seating both in dining and seating area. No alcohol served. Their menu is on a tablet. Ordered : Almond Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo pasta and Firecracker chicken Almond Chicken was served on a rice bed with sautéed veggies and cream sauce. Chicken was tender and coated with light breading. It was perfectly prepared. But the rice was extremely bland, it could have been little more flavorful. Fettuccine Alfredo Pasta was decent. For starters they give a basket of warm pita pockets with butter. All the entries comes with home or Cesar salad. Caesar salad was good. Waitress was rarely available and only occasionally checked to see if we needed anything. Slow service. Overall I feel a bit high priced for what you get.

I'm hoping it's as good as the one in Dearborn. I've been going to the one in Dearborn for decades. It's also close to my office, before the pandemic. Are usually tend to like their spicy chicken or their chicken Caesar roll up with their seasoned potato wedges and house salad. They are open until 10pm on Saturdays. It's almost double the size of the one in Dearborn and there appears to be a little pergola patio on the side as well. I like the music playing in the background, a cool French rendition of dream a little dream of me. Some great bossa nova music too, O Barquinho and others. They are definitely short staffed. Took us a while to get seated. A woman was on her lunch break and seated us. Brianna is waiting on us today. She's sweet. We ordered a chicken Caesar roll up with a house salad and potato wedges and a cup of chicken lemon rice soup and a chicken portabella with the sriracha chicken meat in it. The pita pockets were piping hot, good, not a sweet as I am used to. The house salad is a bit different from what I remember, it's much bigger too. It's still a good salad and I like the added Parmesan to the house salad now. Ended up with a cup instead of bowl. The chicken lemon rice soup was scalding hot, it's nice and hearty and has some nice white chicken meat pieces in it too. Good flavor. The chicken Caesar is good as always. The chicken rollup with the sriracha chicken was good, nice kick to it. Bill was $24.38. Such a deal for all of the food you get here.

We were in Detroit to do some shopping and found this place on Yelp. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! The food was outstanding and the service was even better! Mocmoud provided the best service we have had in a very long time, going over and above on everything (on a scale of 1 to 10 he was a 13!) L.A. Bistro is definitely a restaurant we hope to come back to in the future!!

First time going here last night and was THOROUGHLY blown away at the service, the food, and good atmosphere! I've NEVER been to a restaurant that ran like a well oiled machine; this one right here is THAT DEAL! Our food was on the table 5-10 minutes after ordering. They were johnny-on-the-spot with service as well. I ordered the portobello risotto and it was delish! My friend ordered the chicken parm and was delish as well! Kudos to the owners on a job well done! This is a must try if you want a good dinner experience!

My mom and I ordered delivery from here and, based on the reviews, I admit I had high expectations and they were totally met! We were in the mood for serious comfort food so I got the Linguine Frutti Di Mare ("shrimp, scallops and mussels tossed with linguine noodles in lemon garlic cream sauce") and my mom get the Chicken Portobello Rice Bowl ("grilled chicken, sautéed portobello mushroom, green pepper and onion, served over a bed of warm basmati rice topped with jack and cheddar cheese, pesto ranch, and our house salad") and holy cow-- the portions were HUGE. We both easily got two meals out of our dishes (I reheated mine on the stove top in a pot and it was just as I had it the first day. My mom's was massive. I think she could have gotten 3 meals from it, to be honest. And it was just $13! My pasta was a little pricier but the seafood kicked it up a few notches on the price point. But it was worth it as the seafood was perfectly cooked and very fresh. We also ordered some hummus to keep on hand for the next few days for a snack and it was delicious. Creamy and perfectly seasoned. We'll definitely be adding it to the regular rotation, though next time we may do pick up since it's actually pretty down close to my mom's house. That said, delivery was a breeze and a convenient option as well since you can order directly through Yelp.

Loved the service and the almond chicken was great. You are able to sit down I. A timely fashion and the servers are there for your every need. My son loved it too.

Amazing people, and even more amazing food. I'm Italian, traveling from Florida and this is far out the most authentic and clean place I've ever been to. Try out the chicken parmigiana sub it is to die for.

We took our daughter there yesterday for lunch to celebrate her birthday. Food was delicious and service was great. I definitely recommend L.A. Bistro.

Excellent food. From the steaming hot bread for starters, the lightly fried and crispy calamari for appetizers to the entree almond chicken was excellent. We had four other dishes and they were great. No way you can walk away hungry. Deserts were delicious as well. The service provided was exceptional. Our server did not miss a thing. I haven't had service this good at high end restaurants. We will be coming back again, to bad it is so far from home.

From the moment I walked in the door I was impressed. The whole restaurant was nice and very clean. The decor is very modern and classy looking. The service was great! The food was great from the way it tasted to the presentation. I loved everything from my appetizer, salad, and main course. Everything was delicious! The staff wore gloves and masks to keep within the covid 19 health standards which I appreciated. I'll definitely go back to try something else. It's far from me but it would be worth the drive. You should check it out too.

This spot has been opened in our neighborhood for about teo years. I didnt ever think to go here dor whatever reason, well that was a mistake. My husband and i came for a date night and was astonished. The owner was amazing cane ober and personally asked if we had been there, ran down all of the amazing choices on the menu and was very informative. We had the lobster bruschetta and omg!! Soooooo delish. For dinner we ordered the rice bowl and crab salad warp; both super delicious. The decor is beautiful and it looks very contemporary inside and ot seems to be very clean. This is our new favorite spot.

Hubby and I visited this location for an early dinner (1:30 pm) on Valentine's Day. We were seated and handed small tablets to browse the menu. Our waitress came over quickly with a small basket of pita bread and she asked us if we knew how to use the tablets (they were easy to use). I decided on a chicken rice bowl which came with a salad in the same bowl (see pic). Although I liked the salad and the rice with chicken, I'm not sure I enjoyed them both in the same bowl. Some of my salad was mixed in with the chicken and rice (I don't mind mixed food but salad and hot food?). The chicken was tender and had good flavor. I wasn't thrilled with the salad dressing on the salad. I liked this dish but I would definitely try something different next time. Hubby ordered the chicken Parmesan. He loved the chicken. So tender and flavorful. I tried it too and I thought it was the best I've ever had. Hubby said the spaghetti and sauce were also very good! He would definitely get this dish again!! The pita bread was delish! We asked for more and our waitress didn't hesitate. Yum!!! So warm and delish with butter. We will visit this location again. It was nice decorated and bright from all the windows.

Today was our first time here, and we LOVED it! We shared the chicken portobello rice bowl. Our friends ordered a delicious salad and chicken wrap. Every meal comes with amazing pita bread ( olive and balsamic vinegar) Service was EXCELLENT and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant . The restaurant is also clean, modern, and would be a perfect place for a banquet or get together.

Veggies seasoned wonderfully. Husband had chicken cacciatore and loved it. Kids enjoyed a cheese pizza. Restaurant was very clean, nice ambiance. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend!

Amazing food great service and great quantity of food best place to eat if your trying to eat last minute

One of my favorite restaurants in Canton. Service is spot on. Love the staff here.. been here few times everytime. I have been happy with the service and the friendliness. Very helpful. Plenty of vegetarian options with unique menu items. Off the beat from the regular Italian or the Mediterranean. It's more of a hybrid of both. So far my favorite items. Veggie burger - house made - excellent. Made with Lentils and veggies, Served on a pita kind of bun(softer) again hybrid of a bun and a pita. Spaghetti Aglio Olio - Amazing.. Noodle pasta, very flavorful. Other dishes like eggplant Parmesan, Ravioli Di Portobello are good but same as you would get from any good Italian restaurant. But still prepared really well. This place has never disappointed me. Plenty of parking right in front..

I hate that the got rid of providing a salad with your meal. I know the other locations still do and seems if your spending $24 dollars on dinner that wouldn't have to up sell you a salad. Disappointed charging same price and removed soup or salad option.

Great food and excellent service. Waitstaff was attentive and not obtrusive. Food was brought to the table quickly and customizing the menu items was accomplished without any issue. Highly recommend.

Food was really great (buffalo chicken wrap with some of the best fries I've ever had). Taking off one star because the server (older gentleman with an accent) almost ruined a perfect lunch with my BFF. Way to aggressive pushing the pop (we said no, okay? could *not* take no for an answer) and then he wanted to chat with us a long time. He was nice enough, but I wanted him to leave so we could have our lunch and talk.

This is my favorite restaurant in Canton. The menu is huge - and has something for everyone. My favorites are the Almond Chicken and the Firecracker Shrimp for dinner. They bring out delicious bread to start. The service has always been impeccable - and it has one of the most "fancy yet friendly" atmospheres in the area. I highly recommend L.A. Bistro in Canton - and it's good for big groups as well!

Everything was closest to perfection. The food was great. The atmosphere was good. And of course the company was great. It was surprising to fine a halal Italian place but you could tell that it's popular by quickly it filled up for dinner. They have a nice size banquet room for special occasion. Met mo, abd,and the owner. Very nice and helpful and accommodating. Need to go back for dessert and lemonade.

The three of us dined in for lunch at LA Bistro. Based on the Yelp reviews, we decided to give this place a try. Dine in wasn't busy and we were seated right away. Menus are tablets, so hi-tech! Water (with crushed ice!) and warm bread was brought out to our table immediately. Thank goodness because we were famished (and thirsty)! We ordered the Mediterranean chicken roll up - it came with a "side" salad (house or Caesar) and seasoned wedge fries. The side salad was big enough for the three of us to split! The fries were delicious and the wrap was tasty! We also go the portobello mushroom rice bowl. We were impressed by the generous amount of mushrooms and veggies! Very filling and good flavor. We also ordered the veggie pizza. The pizza looked very good and full of toppings but super soggy. The bottom was soaked and the pizza lacked flavor. Service was good. From what I could tell, all booths have an outlet! I would go back but only if a friend wanted to try it.

Very good food and service. Just know they don't serve alcohol. Apparently it's the second generation owner from a family. We drove maybe 20 miles. It was worth it.

We saw a show at The Village Theater and were looking for a place with outdoor seating after the show. We found this on Yelp, and what a gem it turned out to be! The patio is beautifully decorated, we loved the music they were playing, and the food was outstanding! Service was also great! We were really glad to find this place!

My kids and I absolutely loved everything. The food was amazing and delicious. The staff was super friendly. My favorite is their bbq chicken pizza and their Caesar salad. I will definitely be back again. I definitely recommend this place if your in the canton area!

As far Mediterranean food goes, I have to say that this place is really solid. First of all, I have to say that this place is clean, organized, and stylish. The servers are really attentive, quick, and friendly. As soon as I was done with a plate, someone would come by to take it away. When we ran out of bread, we were almost immediately asked if we wanted more. I ordered the Portabello Steak dish, and it was delish! The flavors are vibrant, without being over seasoned. Not too salty, and the steak wasn't overly chewy. In fact, the steak was nice and tender. The only complaint I have is the amount of dressing in the salad, but that might just be a personal preference, as I'm not really much of a dressing guy. Also, this place knows how to feed you. I'm the type of guy who eats ginormous portions, and this place more than deliver on that front. I haven't had a good Mediterranean place since I moved here from California, (other than Casablanca), and I'm really glad I found this place. I almost lost hope in ever finding a good Mediterranean place again.

Family Business that treats you like family when you dine in or take out. Delicious food, ample servings, outstanding service EVERY time. Family Favs: Portobello Chicken Bowls, Lemon Soup, Mouthwatering Pizza, Fire-cracked Shrimp, Chicken Tenders!!!!

My husband and I arrived at 4:30 pm. Right away in the foyer is a display case. I keyed in it on the desserts, which looked delicious. We were seated right away. The head chef, Mo, was out on the floor waiting on tables. We had the pleasure of him to wait on us. He easily helped us decide on our food orders, since he was so knowledgeable of each dish. We had our drinks and bread served quickly. I ordered the Spaghetti Aglio Olio. A dish with spaghetti noodles, Portobello mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, green pepper, chopped garlic, and pesto tossed in a sauce of olive oil and garlic, topped with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil. It was absolutely delicious! Everything blended so well together and the garlic was enough to know it was there but not overpowering at all. I took leftovers home because the portion was large. I ordered the Red Velvet Cheesecake to take home. It was a very good two layer cake, but I wished it had four or more thinner cake layers so you could taste more of the cheesecake filling which was between the layers.
