La Boella

We were passing by and as the proprety is not far form the highway ideal for 1 night stay on the way home.|We mentionned them by phone our time of arrival 30 minutes before the official check in at 15 h and there would be no problem.||We arrived and the receptionist said the room was not ready we had to wait for 10 minutes.... ok, but this minutes became 30 min without any apology or drink to compensate the wait. After asking why it was so long ....?? the room was ready |Bad start of our stay.||The surroundings and gardens are very nice, the swimming pool nice but full of leaves from the trees.||As you can see this hotel has nice rooms, nice garden but not enough staff to maintain the standard.||The dinner and breakfast are nice, but try to sit in the main room and not near the kitchen as staff tends to make a lot of noise arranging the plates.||We are sure that this hotel and restaurant is in use for weddings and events so make sure when booking it is not in a weekend as it could be that your sleep quality will be low due to noise of the festivities.

Everything was exceptional. We were checked in early with no fuss, enjoyed the gorgeous pool area all afternoon and had a massage downstairs. Dinner and breakfast were both great and the steak was incredible! 10/10 for a quiet and relaxing special occasion.

Very luxurious. Got upgraded for free because they were having a slow day. Great attention to detail. Very beautiful property. Staff was kind. Breakfast was delicious. We stayed here while visiting Taragonna. Did need to drive to main city but they were able to provide recommendations for parking

Fabulous buildings with beautiful surroundings and interior decoration of a very high standard. Due to low occupancy, we were given an upgrade to a room with a balcony. Staff are really friendly and helpful which made the experience even better. |We booked our stay to include the gastronomic experience with a tasting menu. Unfortunately, due to the low occupancy rate, we were two of only seven people in the restaurant. Because of this, the courses on the tasting menu were delivered very quickly which detracted from the experience a little. Some of the courses also need a little more thought to get the flavour combinations right. |The overall experience at Mas La Boella is superb. We are already planning a return trip in the near future to see how they have developed their offering.

Fabulous! Our stay was one of our favorite nights of our trip. The grounds are just beautiful, we had an incredible meal, and the room is has everything you need and more ! The staff was so helpful with areas in the region to visit once we had to change our trip and we just had a great time! Must stay, we truly enjoyed our time here !

Did not feel like a 5 star it was more 3 or 4 maximum. |Rooms not that clean ; too many flies and mosquitos they don’t spray the hotel - had many spiders next to our bed . I understand it’s a countryside hotel but still some hygiene 5 star standard is important. Food is average . Value for money is not great. More staff are needed inside the hotel to be adequate to your star ratings .

Lovely property that exceeded our expectations. In particular we would like to single out the friendly, accommodating front desk staff and the quality of the Michelin rated restaurant. Best meal that we had while visiting Spain.|Well appointed, quite comfortable room with lovely garden views. Great base for touring the area.
