The 20 Best Restaurants & Bars In Singapore 2024

"There aren’t that many Italian restaurants in Singapore that cure their own meat, make their own pasta, or invent their own type of pizza dough. Come to think of it, there aren’t that many Italian restaurants that do that anywhere. But La Bottega, in Joo Chiat, does all of the above and more. The menu has several standouts, but ordering their “Newpolitan”-style pizza (which has more pillowy dough, extra crispy bottom, and a literal patent pending) with their housemade sausage and the pappardelle with guinea fowl is non-negotiable. There are a few different options when it comes to seating, but you’ll want to be in their alfresco space, a quaint garden complete with vintage iron benches and cascading ivy. Get a group together, make a reservation, and order everything that ends in a vowel. " - anthony eu

Very interesting and rustic place in Joo Chiat. Great pizza with the nice dough, the burrata was the big surprise, complex layers of flavour with the accompanying seasonings. So good.... Staff was very welcoming, we were served by super friendly Drex. Keep up the good work!

We had chips, pasta and pizza. They were all served fresh. Waiting time was good for short conversations before food starts streaming in. The atmosphere is really romantic and light on a Tues evening. Drex and Sam were really helpful and kind too! We enjoyed the meal, music and service. We will be back.

Need to reserve in advance, glad we chose this cosy space for a celebration. Love the cosy vibe, and great recommendations and service from Sky and Belle. They were interactive and they listen first to understand before giving us food recommendations. We enjoyed immensely, food quality and standard is superb. We will definitely return 💯

The anchovy pizza was delicious, bread was soft and mildly chewy, anchovy was fresh and tender. The pasta has a home made taste and texture to it, it warms my spirit. Very attentive service by Rex and Sam. We sat in the non ac area, weather was humid and a tad hot so this compromised the enjoyment of the food a little. It's a good restaurant that serves excellent food. Recommend!

truly one of the best, if not the best pizza we’ve had in Singapore. The flavours are not fully conventional, all with some twist, yet everything gels so well together and the flavours are so harmonious yet special. The pizza crust was really good too. We had 2 Neapolitan style pizzas, and 1 crunch pizza. I preferred the Neapolitan crust actually. The crab meat pasta deserves a special mention - this might be my favourite crab meat pasta in sg!!! So so generous with the crab meat and so addictive. The calamari starters was really good too and so fresh! I’ll be back :)

We had the most enchanting dining experience at this cozy Italian restaurant! The moment I stepped in, I felt transported to Italy. 🤩 The warm lighting, rustic decor, and inviting aroma of freshly baked bread created a magical ambience. The service was impeccable – our table A1 was assigned with a humble server who was attentive and knowledgeable. The real stars were the dishes! The Mortadella Parmigiana Reggiano DOUBLE CRUNCH ($24) was love at first bite! The crispy crust, savoury mortadella, and melted Parmigiano Reggiano cheese combined in perfect harmony.😋😋😋 We also enjoyed the freshly baked Anchovy Pizza ($28), which was boldly flavoured with salty anchovies that added a depth to the dish. Ended the night with the Tonnarelli granchio ($34). Divine! The sweetness of the plump 🦀crab meat paired beautifully with the light, garlicky sauce, leaving us craving more.😋😋😋 For a brief moment, I was lost in Italy, surrounded by the warmth and hospitality of this delightful restaurant. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic Italian experience. Reservations highly needed. 🤩🤩🤩

After staying in Italy for two years, I find it difficult to pay up to $70 for a whole pizza. So as much La Bottega is famous for pizza, we went for an antipasto and pasta. Antipasto was average. Nothing overwhelming. Pasta - we got the nduja one and the sausage one. Anything with nduja cannot go wrong so yes it was yummy, portion can be a little more to be honest. Sausage pasta tasted more like minced meat, sausage can be seasoned a bit more. But overall was yummy.. not sure if it is 100% worth the price point.

This is my second time coming here and I would have to say my dining experience is extremely uplifted due to a wonderful waiter! Sky was super patient and know the menu well which gave us the best recommendation! He also let us know during courses when will the pizza be ready -> well manage of customers expectation. He also provided us condiments for the pizza which the previous waiter didn't even state the availability of condiments when I came here the first time. Must try the vinegar with olive oil condiment because the vinegar is sweet unlike the usual one. Sky deserves a 5-star service award.

Yelp
Best Pizza in Singapore!!! Worth every penny. Excellent service and food. Don't need to travel to Naples really.

Yelp
Very original Italian restaurant. The pasta taste good. But a little expensive. Drinks are quite normal.

Yelp
At $139++ for a 6 course meal, my expectations were high. However, was quite disappointed as servings for each meal was just "adequate". Quality of food was good but honestly, I was expecting better. Shout out for the service quality and the nice, rustic ambiance. Overall dining experience was pleasant but don't think I'll be back.
