Located along the main route with a nice sea view, but unfortunately the food quality was disappointing. We ordered fish soup (bouillabaisse), foie gras with asparagus, fish tartare, and a cheese tasting for dessert. The fish soup was nothing special – just a basic broth with a few bread croutons, lacking the richness and variety I would expect from a proper bouillabaisse. The fish tartare was the biggest disappointment: in a seaside town I expected fresh local fish, but it turned out to be salmon, clearly not local. The cheese tasting was equally underwhelming, with three very basic cheeses that could be found in any supermarket. Overall, the dishes felt cheap in quality but came with a high price tag. The experience had all the hallmarks of a tourist trap — relying on location rather than delivering authentic, well-prepared food.

Excellent food and the fixed price menu good value. Service was friendly, even with our poor French, and the dog was welcomed inside. Hope to return.

Super nice experience. Best bouillabaisse I had in years. Also the Loup de mer was excellent. Certainly amongst the top 3 of our 2 weeks tour.

Ordered a large Italian ice cream. It barely reached the top of the cone. When we complained about the size the waitress said - but the whole cone is full of ice cream! 😂

Yelp
So, my husband and I are not particularly fish fans. I do eat fish, including shellfish but he typically only eats shellfish or sushi type raw fish. But, we were in Provence, we like to eat specialities of the local region wherever we go, and bouilliabasse is a specialty of the region. Our hosts highly recommended La Bouillabaisse. You have to order the bouilliabaisse 24 hours in advance, which we didn't know until we got there. And, the restaurant was fully booked for that evening. We also didn't realize that reservations were a must on a weekend evening even in September. We came back for dinner Monday night. By then, we were getting cold feet and wondering if we'd made a mistake in ordering the meal. But, we went through with it and are both glad we did! The broth, not a tomato base as we'd expected, was deliciously seasoned, the fish, a large selection of shellfish and fish, perfectly cooked. Nothing had a "fishiness" smell or taste as all of the ingredients were as fresh as could be and truly delicious! I wouldn't make a general statement that this restaurant is good for children but the staff was helpful and atttentive including to our toddler, who eats a variety of food and enjoyed the bouillabaisse.
