We were heading to the Boca mall so it was convenient to grab lunch here first before our errands. They are located in the Mall -- between Saks and Macy's -- down one of the little side offshoots. There is an entrance from outside the mall, as well.
They were quite busy during lunch hour and most tables were full. Luckily, they had one two-top table open and clean.
There were only two servers waiting on the entire restaurant, but boy did the guy who served us have it together. He greeted us on entry and pointed out the open table. He gave us menus and even paused as he was rushing around to say he'd be right with us. When he came to take our order, he apologized for the wait (which really was not long).
He brought our drinks right away after we ordered. They have a separate take out line by the counter and bakery cases. There were people lined up there, too.
My husband got their salade nicoise which, as typical, has greens topped with tuna, tomatoes, black olives, small potatoes, a hard boiled egg, etc. I think the only thing missing from the "usual" mix were green beans. It was a nice sized salad. It came with a lemon vinaigrette dressing on the side. He liked it a lot.
I ordered their ham quiche and side salad special. The quiche wasn't a wedge, but an individual small round one (with a very tasty pastry crust) filled with creamy eggs and bits of ham. It was similar to a quiche lorraine, but without the gruyere (or Swiss) cheese. The side salad was shredded cuts of romaine lettuce topped with diced red peppers and halved cherry tomatoes. It also came with their lemony vinaigrette dressing. It was very good.
The menu has many choices. They also serve breakfast all day; then there are sandwiches and soups and ... Prices were pretty good, as well.
We had a tasty meal, good service, all at a reasonable cost. We'd definitely come back here again for lunch when next at this mall.
