Yelp
**2 given because of the quality of food**
I have been a customer of different Boulangerie locations for close to five years, and while pricey, I think they have some great baked goods and food, but I will not be continuing to eat here nor will I recommend it to others. I went this past Sunday with my family, and had to prepare them for what I knew would be slow service and rudeness, but even that didn't cover our experience. To start, there was no one attending the hostess stand regularly, instead a man was running up and down when possible to take names. Twice he would let the person who came in last get seated before parties of the same size who were already there. They did not have anyone cleaning tables, and at one point there were four tables that were dirty, while most staff were standing in a corner and making no effort to clean them and seat the group of at least 15 people waiting.
Finally, when we sat down, the floors were covered in food and dirty napkins, and they did not wipe down the table.
The waitress responsible for our table was busy, and after about 15 minutes waiting another waitress came to take our orders. We never got the orange juice that comes with the breakfast. Once we got our food ( which besides the croissants was just ok) no one came to check on us, ask if we needed a refill or see if something was missing. After about 45 minutes of breakfast, we started to look around to see if the waitress would come back and take a to go order and bring us the check. We waited some more, until I just stared making eye contact and signaling for the check to anyone I saw. At this point more than half the restaurant was empty and looking out the window over a lost cat.
I placed my order and paid the bill, only to wait another 15 minutes for croissants and jar desserts that were already prepared.
While food is good, there are hundreds of other French fusion bakeries in miami of similar price and quality that I would rather go explore than continue to get terrible service here.
