La Brasseria Milanese

We weren’t expecting a simple pasta dish to deceive us. The pasta was too soft, and the sauce lacked flavor. The staff was friendly and excellent, but I don’t think I’ll be returning.

La Brasseria is a cozy, welcoming spot that consistently serves very good food. From pizza and pasta to the chicken Milanese, the menu delivers well across brunch, lunch, and dinner. In summer, the outdoor seating adds a lovely touch, making it just as enjoyable for a date night as it is for a relaxed meal with friends. A dependable choice in a busy neighborhood. Quietly rated: worth stopping.

Great location: Marylebone (central London) Great selection of food: had breakfast with eggs Benedict (DELICIOUS) and my other half had panini with eggs and bacon which also was very tasty. Atmosphere 5/5: not loud music which allows you to speak and hear without struggling. Service: easy, gentle and not invasive

Absolutely lovely - couldn't fault it. I had lunch there with my daughter between hospital appointments. We had to alter our arrival time as doctor ran late, but that was no problem. I explained that because I'm old and deaf I'd like a quiet table, they suggested downstairs would be quietest and so it was, with tables nicely spaced out. My daughter had delicious sea bass and I had delicious liver ((Italian restaurants are the only place I really enjoy eating liver). The service was perfect, utterly professional and efficient, but full of Italian warmth and charm. I was in a glow of satisfaction when I left. Thank you La Brasseria.

Came here for a quick easy dinner - can’t go wrong with simple Italian, right? WRONG. Pasta vongolle - very salty. I ate it because I was so hungry and added a load of pepper to try to balance the salt. Next, dessert - what could be more simple and authentically Italian than tiramisu. Wrong again a dish presented well inside cream and chocolate powder etc but inside were two fingers of dry sponge. Super spendy for a quick meal for one. Would never go back.

4.5 stars.. service was great and pretty quick for a large party. Atmosphere was good... Bustling and low enough noise to here everyone speaking! I had a pizza which was well made and just lacked a little flavour in the dough and in the Diavola topping. The dough was the key though... Everyone else's food looked great and sounds of enjoyment we're all around me!

Overall: This review focuses on breakfast. A well presented menu offering a small, well curated list of standard breakfast items you’d expected to find in a brasserie such as this. Service was spot on, food served quickly but it wasn’t that busy to be fair and the portion size was good for the price point. Only disappointment was the £4.50 hash browns which McDonald’s do better at for 99p! Other than that a delightful experience and will return to try the main menu at some point. We recently hosted a corporate dinner for our organisation at La Brasseria for sixteen guests, and it was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The food was outstanding, every course beautifully presented and perfectly balanced, with generous portions. The ambience was spot on: the ideal balance of relaxed and convivial whilst still feeling special and intimate. The service, too, was faultless. The team were attentive without being intrusive, warm, professional, and made everything feel effortless, not always easy for such a large group. Would highly recommend!

Today is my first day in London and we dined at the wonderful restaurant La Brasseria. We ordered the bread basket to share. It consisted of pita like chips, sourdough (maybe) and a yummy black sourdough like bread, along with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. I ordered a Limoncello Spritz for my drink and it was perfect and strong! It was the best one I've ever been served hands down. For dinner I ordered a pizza that had crushed pistachio, pesto, barratta, and tomato basil sauce. The crust was crisp and had a great flavor and texture. The food was divine. My pizza was absolutely amazing and rich. We would've loved outdoor seating because the weather is so beautiful here, but there was no seating available so we dined indoors and it was still comfortable. The service was great. I would definitely dine here again.

The staff, service & food was fantastic! We enjoyed the carpaccio for starters, then had the bone-in Veal Milanese (best we've ever had) with a side of grilled asparagus. The bottle of Barbara de Alba was the icing on the cake! We will be back. Delicious! Thank you.

Took myself on a solo date around Marylebone last week and stopped by La Brasseria for lunch. I did not have a reservation and they quickly sat me outside (it was a lovely day with plenty of sunshine). It is in a great location and the staff is attentive and nice. I had the La Brasseria Salad and the milanese was absolutely incredible! Crispy on the outside, juice on the inside, well seasoned. The salad is simple but very well done. The mustard dressing is strong so if you're not the biggest fan of grainy mustard ask for it on the side and mix it with some vinegar before adding to the salad. The zucchini fries were crispy and a nice change from my traditional salad + fries.

The food is excellent and the place is nice and clean. Very ideal for small group gathering

Stopped at this place in Marylebone the night before going back to the States & it didn't disappoint! I know it is a chain here, but the service was excellent & the food was simple, yet fresh. My mom & I have some food allergies & they were very accommodating & made us something we could eat. The minestrone soup was great & the chicken salad was fresh. They were helpful with all our accommodations & gave us a walk in table. The patio is great for people watching & overall it's an easy place to grab lunch or dinner in the area!

Just visiting London and looking for a good restaurant near our hotel. We found La Brasseria on Yelp and liked that they had gluten free options for pizza and pasta. We tried them one night and the food was great - best gluten free pizza ever. The service was fantastic and the prices were good as well. It has a really good vibe and the staff was fantastic. So good we went back a second time.

We used to frequent this place every week. The last 2 times we were disappointed. One of those times we were actually entertaining friends from overseas. How embarrassing. The service was bad. The food was mediocre. Admittedly both times our fav manager Paolo wasn't there. So perhaps that's the reason? The prices have also gone up! A vitello tonnato starter of about 8 small pieces of veal, with a tiny sauce is over £20, I think.... The grilled chicken salad is just a big bed of cut up lettuce leaves without a sauce and some dry cubed chicken. We are very disappointed

We all had pasta when we ate here, and it was very good. The atmosphere was a little loud, but we still enjoyed it. The service was also good.

Excellent food, service and wine. Lovely spot to dine after the rain. World class lasagna and Linguini a la vongole. The Branzino was a perfect combination of delicate flavors and crisp skin. Highly recommended!!

Nice cute place with both indoor and outdoor seating on the terrace! In the heart of Marylebone on Marylebone High Street. I tried the Miss Marylebone drink which came in a bright red and was really sweet, light and delicious! Does get pretty busy in the evenings so might make sense to make a reservation if you're coming for dinner :)

Ok pasta dish of Cabanara. Service just ok.location is nice. Top 40 music was not so good.

Location is great. Not really suitable for children which was disappointing as we have two children (14 and 11). The pasta was excellent but the pizza was below standard and was not cut which was really annoying. Good wine list but overpriced.
