We had the 8-course tasting menu with 5 glasses of wine, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, striking a perfect balance between elegance and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. We never found ourselves waiting for a wine refill – the service was attentive without ever being intrusive. Each wine pairing was thoughtfully selected and complemented the locally inspired dishes beautifully. The space itself was lovely, with a unique personal touch: the paintings on the walls were made by the chef’s mother, adding both charm and character. Every course was a visual delight – each dish felt like a small piece of art on the plate. All in all, a memorable evening that truly celebrated local flavors, artistry, and hospitality.

During my Bari vacation, I went to La Bul Ristorante on a recommendation and had a wonderful dining experience. La Bul, distinguished by its simplicity, friendly atmosphere, and elegance, was truly an extraordinary experience for me. The decor is understated but with lovely touches. It was especially meaningful that the artwork on the walls was the work of the chef's mother. I opted for the menu, which focused on traditional Puglia cuisine. Both the appetizers and the main course were excellent. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. The drink pairings were also excellent, and the sommelier was very talented and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Extraordinary restaurant in Bari and a great dining experience. It’s in the City centre and easy to reach. The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere - it’s more like sitting in a very tastefully furnished living room, although some of the nice looking chairs could be hard to sit on on a full evening 🙂 The food is excellent, we had the fish based menu and enjoyed every course. Staff is super attentive and very knowledgeable. Wine menu is great with excellent whites and a very skilled sommelier. This is a strong recommendation.

I had dinner in this restaurant month ago. We chosed for eight course chef’s menu, and it was delicious. Started with some bites with caviar and nice selection of local bread. Every course came as a surprise, there were first three courses of raw fish dishes, then perfectly cooked risotto in fish sauce, then pasta with red prawns and truffle, duck with foie gras and steak, ended with light tiramisu dessert. The atmosphere was nice, we dined in the garden, interior gave vibe of old soul’s presence in the restaurant. Service was excellent, waiter and sommelier were attentive and took good care of us. I truly recommend this place.

We had a great dinner with three friends. It was a calm Wednesday evening but didn’t bother. Food was awesome, wines combined nicely and the service very good and comfortable.

I had a great evening at La Bul in Bari, Italy, opting for the chef's surprise tasting menu. The food, while very good, lacked that wow factor—creative and fresh, yet missing the mark on creating lasting memories. The wine selection, featuring many local options, was a strong point, but the service, while pleasant, didn't quite reach the level of excellence found in comparable fine dining establishments.

This discovery was such a surprise!!! Amazing food and wines served by a professional and competent staff! A must in Bari! Can’t wait to return !!
