Google
I always get the LA Burger with cheese and fried egg. The buns are really good and the patty is juicy. I recommend the sweet potato fries. The food comes out very fast. The only thing that needs improvement is the restaurant smelled very strongly like cleaning product or mop water.

Jennifer “jenniedafoodie”

Google
First time trying this place and it’s a great concept of American food meets Korean style. We got the LA burger which had a sunny side up egg. It was so juicy and flavorful, and massive!! Just a bit messy to eat, so make sure to have plenty of napkins nearby. We also got the K-Style curly fries, which were delicious!! It had kimchi and bulgogi on it, which were the perfect toppings. Definitely a place to go to if you’re in the mood for good food!!

Lilliana Black

Google
Continues to be my favorite burger place 😁. I've tried a lot of places. Friendly staff and I can get a sunny side egg here. Best soft bun. So tasty

Google
The food was great! Our burgers were grilled to perfection, just like we ordered. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Benji G

Google
LA Burger was excellent! I really enjoyed the Teriyaki Onion Burger. The wasabi mayo offered just the right amount of kick, and the onions were notably tasty. Their burgers are delicious, and the bun had a soft texture, reminiscent of Hawaiian sweet rolls. Overall, a very satisfying meal.

Google
Wow, wow, wow… I was so impressed with this place! I thought it was just going to be a normal hamburger restaurant. It is my mom‘s favorite hamburger place so she insisted we come here for lunch. Super impressed! I had a bite of her hamburger… Absolutely incredible. The meat was delicious! And I had a salad, which usually falls short at hamburger restaurants. It was fabulous! I will absolutely be coming back here to try other items from their menu. The Korean twist on the menu is so unexpected and adds so much extra flavor and interesting menu items. Yummy!!!

David Glessner

Google
Such a great burger, great twist. Always ask employee recommendations and take those reccs. The K-Town as fantastic! And the K-Style Fries were so good.

Harvey Nguyen

Google
An amazing burger for only $8! This place really puts quality over quantity. I am impressed! I would highly recommend!

Yelp
I have eaten at 3 different LA burger locations. The menu MAY vary slightly from place to place but the food is always the same. Excellent. I have had almost everything on the menu and I can not endorse this location enough. OG, Cali Sunshine, Westcoast - favorites. But try the bulgogi tacos and the cheesesteak. Thank me later.

Yelp
We ate here on a Saturday around noon after flying in to DFW. It is located in a sprawling area of strip malls off an expressway. They have shared parking out front, but connect to multiple other lots, so parking should not be a problem. When you arrive, you queue up at the counter to order from the large wall-mounted menu board. They had a decent variety of burgers and salads. They had other sandwiches as well. I got the 'west coast' burger, which I enjoyed. Their fries were good too. My wife enjoyed her salad. This seemed to be a popular place as there was a steady stream of customers while we were eating. If you want a burger a notch or two above fast food, this is a good choice.

Chris N.

Yelp
The burgers themselves were cooked very well. Bacon was super crispy , but the bun was very dense and the one complaint I have here. Sides of curly fries and onion rings were also cooked very well and had great flavor.

Dom J.

Yelp
Stopped by this place cause I was craving a burger. Pretty good burger spot. Was very nice on the inside and had plenty of seating even had some TVs. I ordered the Rodeo burger, roadhouse burger something like that, but it was new. I thought it was gonna be a smash burger but it was a pretty thick patty. It was flavorful and a good size. Ordered the curly fries as well. Was super fresh and could tell it came right out the grease. Even got a little white claw for a deal. It came out pretty fast and the guy taking orders was a cool dude. I see they have multiple locations (first time I've heard of it) but I'll definitely stop by again. All of it was about $17 which isn't that bad. Def check them out.

Dave W.

Yelp
What a shame. This place has really gone down hill. Their cheesesteak used to be amazing, now it's just Mehhh. Ever since the brothers sold it, it's progressively gotten worse.

Sabina C.

Yelp
So good!!! Came here on Valentine's Day - we made the mistake by not making reservations anywhere. We were starving and drove by LA Burger and I remembered a friend telling me it's her fav so we came by. I don't eat meat and a good veggie pattie is hard to come by ESPECIALLY if it's not an impossible pattie.... Well this place has veggie patties but it's not impossible and I have to say, it is sooooooo good! I had it with the K-Town Burger and I ate more than I needed to and it was worth it. My husband did the Korean Fries w/out the meat and the Bonsai with the veggie patty and he was equally as impressed. Highly recommend! It the perfect Valentines Day meal! Also staff was great!

Teresa A.

Yelp
Delicious! Customer service was great and our food came out quickly! They also let me take some things out of a burger that I am not fond of. Their french fries had a nice crisp to them. Loved the sweet potato fries as I ate some of my friends, I would definitely come here again!

Calvin D.

Yelp
Decided to make a stop to try LA Burger out while I'm in Dallas. They serve burgers, tacos, cheesesteaks, rice bowls and salads. I ordered their psychedelic burger which consists of: mushroom, lettuce, onion, tomato, cheese! I got a side of k style fries (bulgogi fries). I ended up paying more for my fries than my burger! My burger was super tasty when I bit it. I should've asked for super light sauce because it was a little too much for my liking. The buns were very soft and the meat was juicy! I think I could've finished 2 burgers here! The fries were a good side as well! I think this a good place to go with your fam for a reasonable price. 4/5 on my first visit!

Amanda E.

Yelp
This place is amazing! The guy that took our order (Sang) was so nice and helpful. Everything we order was based on his recommendation and DAMN!! Everything was so freaking good and HOT! The only thing I would have liked more is for the food to be spicy only because I personally enjoy some spice in my life lol other than that my family and I definitely enjoyed this place. It wasn't crowded at all but it should be!

Matthew L.

Yelp
I came to LA Burger on a weekday for lunch, and it was pretty empty. The interior is dark, but really clean. I ordered the Cali Sunshine, which comes with bacon, an over easy egg, cheddar cheese, veggies, and their spread. The meat was very tender and juicy. The egg was perfectly over easy, and the bun was slightly sweet and tasted great. I also ordered a side of onion rings, and they were nice and crispy. Overall, I would definitely grab a burger here again.

Michael K.

Yelp
Burgers were excellent! The curly fries k-style absolutely fantastic!! Excellent tacos! I'll be back!

JF C.

Yelp
Amazing food! Philly cheese steak sandwich is a staple that we always get + KTown fries

Eric B.

Yelp
Crave a burger? On occasion I do and this is a great burger joint. A great variety of toppings and more importantly a great taste. A bit of korean influence flair in some burger choices adds to the offerings. Not complicated but satisfies. I really hate the fancy "gourmet" brioche butter bun burgers stacked so high I need a fork and knife to eat. This is just perfect, for me. I also like a nice cold beer with a great burger so this place satusfies. Fairly quiet place to chill with a cozy intimate bar area. Chain but still has a nice hole in the wall vibe. I like! Stars: 1 - Just go on a fast or eat dirt 2- Crazy hungry or someone else paying 3- Not bad and not great 4 - Yummy Yummy 5 - OMG! I ate my fingers too!

Rosie C.

Yelp
Yummmmm burgers! Go! Need to go back again. Juicy lots of fun options. Clean place.

Joseph F.

Yelp
A high quality bun to a burger seems in line with quality of rice to sushi. The buns here are top notch. First timer, tried the Bonsai burger. Great sauce with grilled onions, avocado, touch of wasabi. Patty was a nice medium size -- sometimes craft burgers are "bigger is better" and fall apart/tough to get get bun-to-bun in one bite -- this one had enough meat, nicely cooked, but easy to handle. Would easily go with this choice again, but definitely interested in other options, too, like the El Jefe and K-Town burger. Onion rings were good. Craft soda was a nice option, but still offer traditional bottled sodas. They were out of sweet potato fries/tots. Staff was friendly, patient and very helpful, explained things well in detail to multiple customers. Food was prepared quickly, but still fresh. Visiting from elsewhere, but would definitely grab another burger here when this way again.

Elaine M.

Yelp
Juicy burgers, winning combinations, and freshness on a bun. You cannot go wrong with this place for a unique burger. Super helpful when ordering and we're able to accommodate the picky eaters and the lactose intolerant. They got our order totally correct! Interesting note is that they have different sodas. Interesting flavors and combinations for sure. Recommended to try: K-Town - Korean flavors fused into one. We got it with the fried egg on top, a must. OG - good ole fashion simple burger and just the right basic toppings. Psychedelic - Swiss and mushrooms... my favorite combo and it delivered on taste! Kid's Cheeseburger - comes with fries and drink For the sides: they just add another dimension to any meal.. we love the onion rings, sweet potato fries!!!

Greg B.

Yelp
Be aware that when you call in and order there is only one cashier. That person takes orders from people who come in, delivers to their table, answers the phone (or doesn't because he's busy-wow, how much business is lost there!? That same person is responsible for taking your online order and placing it with the kitchen-or not- again if they are busy with walk ins your online order sits at the front- doesn't get passed to the kitchen. Makes no sense to me. There were people from several delivery people waiting for their orders-again those orders were not placed with the kitchen and they had already arrived...so add 30 minutes to an hour or more to your expectations. Hope your lunch break is flexible. Also, no tea, no lemonade and out of two flavors at the soda fountain. Talking about leaving money on the table...

barry k.

Yelp
Great burgers, fries and unique soft drinks on tap! FRESH, FAST and No Frills dining makes LA Burger you best burger shops in DFW area!

Claire W.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick bite to eat for lunch. It was 1:30pm on a weekday and no other customers were inside. The Kimchi burger is their most popular but I ordered the Holy Smokes. It was tasty, but I think it could have been better with some veggies. I would definitely return.

Jenna P.

Yelp
The cheesesteak was absolutely delicious. Also tried the fries and sweet potato fries which were good. Definitely would eat there again. My one complaint that I hate to even mention was the cleanliness. The numbers for the table were really dirty, the walls right near the booths were dirty with food and definitely needed touch up paint. Just didn't give an overall clean vibe.

Rob L.

Yelp
The restrooms were out of service The drink station was not available The tea was out My goodness how is this place open

Karima A.

Yelp
This will be next go-to place to have an amazing burger!! And the best crispy, seasoned fries!! We ordered the K-Town burger and Bonsai burger! Since we weren't sure about the kimchi, the cashier was kind enough to provide it as a side, instead of on the K-Town burger itself!! Also we ordered the string fries which were seasoned generously! For dessert we wanted to try their signature oreo shake, which turned out to be amazing!! Moreover, they use cardboard straws, so yeah, a good start to go green! They are practicing social distancing, and operating at 25% capacity! Also, if you check-in on yelp, you will get a free fountain drink! I redeemed this and you can see from the pictures that it's a big glass! So enjoy your free drink by checking-in on yelp!

Jay S.

Yelp
Service was straight 3-10 owner just stood there not saying a word till I ask if he could take my order. Prices are not bad but everything is extras Even the onions are extra as well as the sauces Food is a hard 5/10

Nic D.

Yelp
Good quality food ... way better than settling for a Whataburger and definitely better than McDonalds and the other typical fast food crud.

Han C.

Yelp
Definitely some of the most flavorful burgers I have ever had. I enjoyed the Cali sunshine which had a perfectly cooked, runny egg on top (though you can order your eggs well cooked, if you're into boring things). My parents split the K-town + El Jefe burgers. The burgers came out within ten minutes of ordering - piled high and piping hot. I loved the crispy and crunchy sear on the salted beef. The meat is bordering too salty, but still is not too much. I think the weakest point of the burgers is the bun - the top bun is just way too thick and bready. If it was half as tall, or just as tall as the bottom bun, it'd really be perfect. It's slightly sweet, to balance the saltiness of the meat, yet sturdy enough to hold the burger together. The curly fries were hardly curly though and came out a bit lukewarm, so I would skip those. Stubborn sodas were tasty - especially the root beer. Would definitely visit again!

Jessica A.

Yelp
First time trying LA burger and we'll be back! Food was hot and fresh, came out fast, and the flavors were on point. Try any side K-Town style, you won't regret it. No milkshakes or draft beer when we were in, but the pineapple cream soda was amazing.

Olga M.

Yelp
They have friendly service and it is pretty quick - food is average. They do have yummy sweet potato fries.

Cherly G.

Yelp
Delicious food and Great customer service I had never heard of it but I've tried a couple my favorite would be el jefe 10 out of 10

Jessy J.

Yelp
The burgers were phenomenal tasting. The fries & onion rings weren't great but the meal was filling and not very pricy. Excellent burger place. The staff was quick & friendly. The bathrooms weren't working.

Laurie D.

Yelp
Their burgers are always juicy and big. The restaurant has always been clean when I've been there. The staff is helpful and friendly.

Johana G.

Yelp
Great burger joint in the heart of carrollton. The have amazing choices and most importantly they have two good veggie burgers! As a vegetarian is hard to find a burger joint that has more than one option, place is very nice and great service

Jamie M.

Yelp
I forgot to take a photo but I ordered a take-out and was so happy with the food! It was really good and it wasn't just a regular burger and had their twist to it. I will order or go eat again for sure.

Jeff O.

Yelp
If you're craving a burger but something a little different. They have really good tasty options to choose from.

David H.

Yelp
I was very much surprised at the flavor, texture and overall presentation of the meal. I was not ready for a LA Burger. Being a Texas boy, I just wasn't ready for that much of a noticeable change in burgers. Very probably someone with a broader palate for food probably will love it. I just am not one. It's hard to address LA Burger openly and fairly when I like REAL HAMBURGERS without a West Coast appeal. Give 'em a try for yourself. You could be pleasantly surprised. Good Luck!

Jenna R.

Yelp
I ordered the black bean burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was absolutely delicious but the fires were burnt. My MAIN complaint was the absolutely filthy restaurant. Walls had food and sauce splattered on and tables were not wiped down. What does your kitchen look like if nothing is even cleaned to the public's eyes? Also fix your water dispenser, super annoying especially since you know it's broken.

kristyn m.

Yelp
However many calories are in the OG, it's worth it. So juicy and buttery. Great option for takeout. They're just as delicious.

Raymond L.

Yelp
Wanted to get a dinner before heading out to our next stop and LA Burger looked kinda promising. (Plus we had wanted to go to Mango Mango which was nearby and this was across the street) Came in at around 5pm on a weekday and we were the only ones there. We were, however, not the only ones to order, because they seemed to have a good amount of orders being made for take out/phone orders. I decided on a burger. Pyschedelic - Mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, onion, swiss cheese, mayo (avocado $1 extra) There were other options (that may have looked more promising to be honest, but I was kinda keen on getting a burger haha) It took about 10-15 minutes for the food to come out. I had gotten fries along with burger and the fries were well made (and good that they were hot too haha). The burger however was just alright. Nothing really stood out for the burger, and for about $7.50, the price didn't really justify the taste. They did not hold back on the avocado (thanks haha). Definitely had juice in it since there was a good amount coming out from the meat. I think choosing their other Korean-fusion food would have been a better choice, but the burger I had was just alright.

Nick K.

Yelp
Recently visited this LA Burger location on a Saturday evening, with one of my daughters. 1. Food: Both of use were impressed with our tasty burgers. Good selection of burger options on the menu. Fries were ok, small quantity in the portion. 2. Service : Professional and courteous 3. Location: Average interior for this class of casual dining restaurant .

John A.

Yelp
Just to update. The burgers/food are still great. There was no tap beer available and they seemed to have shut their taps down. The bottled beer they offered was bottled and only a few brands. This location may not be doing well due to the pandemic.

Krs M.

Yelp
I had the k style burger with a veggie patty and sweet potato fries. Loved the sweet potato fries, they were on point. The burger was good too, not a bad balance of flavors. But I've also had better burgers soo.. it's good but won't be going back always.

Will F.

Yelp
I was looking forward to eating here due to the positive reviews. Ordered the burger; no problem. Ordered onion rings; 'sorry, we're out'. Ordered a beer; 'sorry, we're out'. I was told that the only beers on hand were in the cooler cabinet. Not much of a selection and no dark beers on hand. Got my order brought to the table, fairly promptly. Burger, fries, ketchup; no silverware... sigh. I hope they do better the next time I stop in. But how will I know when they are fully stocked? The Korean flavor combos look cool; but I don't understand the need for salon-style disco blaring in the dining room. I hope they do better next time.

Kevin W.

Yelp
This place has some outstanding reviews; yet, I was unprepared for the amazing flavors. I ordered the BBQ Kimichi nachos. AMAZING! The nachos are huge and pretty thick. The entree comes with a side of queso. The bbq is sweet and they put a lot of it on the nachos. I will definitely visit this place again when I am in the area.

Lindsay L.

Yelp
I came here along time ago so this is my second time here. It's good. Nice workers. I got a salad my only issue is that the chicken was dry but overall it was good. My bf got a pork rice bowl. They ran out of sauce so he was given siracha. And we got fries k style.

Carl F.

Yelp
Great food with a Korean flavor. Love the tacos and burgers and chimchy fries. Small dining area , but very friendly staff.

Krystal T.

Yelp
Delicious! Very creative with their burgers. Korean fused with American burgers. I had the marinated mushrooms burger with house dressing, I believe. The buns were nice, buttery, and crisp. The ingredients tasted very fresh and it seems like the buns were made locally or in house. I must ask next time I visit. Next time, I will try the kimchi burger! Doesn't that sound exciting!

Michael Z.

Yelp
Slow service. Food is ok , but a little expensive for the price. Store is a little crowded and dark

Temina C.

Yelp
Good food. The place seemed very dark but clean. You go up to the counter to order your meals. I got the chicken rice bowl. It was very flavorful however it didn't have a lot of chicken. Overall it was still really good! Service was great as well.. Would come back and maybe go to a different location.

Katie V.

Yelp
Came here back in February 2018 & tried korean tacos for the first time. I'm not much of a tacos or burrito person but it was pretty good. Thought I would just have one but ended up eating two. My cousin & friends ordered some burgers. I can't remember exactly the meat they ordered but do have pictures. Maybe someone can guess. Haha. The restaurant had a good feel to it & workers were nice as well. I would give it a world again if I see one that is in a state I visit.

Anye S.

Yelp
I've been a long time fan of LA Burger from their original Irving location, but this location is often more convenient for me now. The food is just as good as the other location. The K-Town w/o jalapenos is pretty much my holy grail burger at this point, and what's not to love about the K-fries (well, except during a pandemic, they aren't the best pick for takeout as they get soggy.) For those not in the know, K-fries have (IIRC, its been a few months) bulgogi, kimchi, spicy sauce and other goodness on them. The full order is huge -- get the small side size portion and there's still plenty to split with your honey. COVID situation: The sign on the door didn't say so, but they will bring your order to your car if you request it. Thank goodness, because last time we went there were gaggles of stupid people without masks going in and I was not about to risk my life and that of my family following them inside. For awhile they had a K-nachos...I hope when the pandemic is over they bring it back. I liked those even better than the K-fries, but they may have been a short-term or seasonal thing.
