La Cábala Restaurante

We visited this amazing restaurant in June during Toledo’s Corpus Cristi Feria. We had traveled to Madrid for 4 days prior and visited 5 Michelin restaurants in Madrid, before concluding our trip with La Cabala, our 6th Michelin of that trip. We had the best meal of any of the Michelin restaurants at this superb restaurant. It was a 7-course degustation menu that was delicious, inventive and exhilarating. The amuse bouche alone blew my mind. It was an olive oil tasting with different homemade breads and the server told us- this one with this bread will taste like fried eggs, and sure enough, it did. It’s been 4mo since that meal but it still remains the single best meal I’ve had all year including over 15+ Michelin restaurants this year alone, thus far. Javier the owner & chef is an artist and very passionate about his food. This restaurant is well deserving of a Michelin star and I will not be surprised if it receives one this yr when the awards are announced. It is very, very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of the food and I would highly recommend it as a destination restaurant. The ambiance & decor is elegant and calming, a beautiful space, and the service is superb. It’s as perfect for a romantic meal as it is for a business meal. La Cabala is a high-end restaurant without the high-end prices. Simply put, it’s phenomenal.

A truly wonderful dining experience! The restaurant offers a very pleasant atmosphere where you immediately feel comfortable. The service was excellent – attentive, friendly, and professional. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented and full of flavor. The wine selection was also impressive and complemented the meal perfectly. Conclusion: A fantastic restaurant – highly recommended!

One of the best meals of my life. Genuinely amazing, I shared 3 starters and one main, each one of them was an experience. Service was amazing too, I would 100% recommend. Dessert was good but not outstanding.

We loved our meal here! The food was so flavorful - with unusual, creative combinations. The presentation was perfect and service friendly, helpful and professional. The ambiance was relaxing and elegant. We were so happy we had lunch here on our day trip in Toledo. I agree with all the positive reviews. This place is not to miss if you are looking for an excellent upscale food experience.

A memorable experience at this outstanding restaurant nearby Toledo’s Judería. Every plate was a work of art and also a gift for the palate. From the “Milhojas de Foie” to the Wagyu Oxtail Lasagna you could taste bold, original flavors. Desserts are also a must, specially the Mango Ceviche. You can’t visit Toledo without stopping by!

A Tasty Tuesday at La Cábala! We dropped into La Cábala Restaurante at 2:30pm on a Tuesday—no booking, just hopeful—and Evan kindly found us a table. He, along with Christina and Andre, took great care of us. Friendly, professional, and on point without being overbearing. We chose the traditional menu and loved the journey it took us on. It started with a vibrant beet soup, followed by a beautifully battered zucchini flower, then cod and venison cooked to perfection. And the chocolate dessert? Absolute magic. The modern Spanish cuisine, paired with locally sourced ingredients, really made the meal special. We had a great time and left very satisfied. Well done, Team Cábala! Highly recommend a visit.

my girlfriend and I ate there a few days ago and we were blown away. All the food was amazing, the attention to detail was unrivaled and the staff was magnificent. I wish I lived in Europe so I could there more often. Keep up the excellent work !
