La Cañita Beach

Amazing experience with Gaston. My wife and I loved the live music that drew us to dine in. Gaston was so friendly and recommended the beef empanadas and ropa vieja, which were delicious. The restaurant is cute and not too loud compared to others nearby with a party vibe. La Canita is the perfect spot for a romantic night out and the hostesses are not pushy like others down Ocean Bld. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful Cuban meal here at La Canita on Ocean Drive this evening! We have owned a condo here on the beach for over 20 years and typically dined at Lario’s (until they closed) but totally excited to try this new option. VERY impressed with the meals we had (chicken and rice and Bbq pork). Wonderfully authentic Cuban cuisine in a really tastefully updated space in this historic building.This recently opened restaurant has a beautiful interior and lovely patio plus a great band that entertained us our entire meal. Service was top-notch. The service staff was very attentive and knowledgeable and really wanted give great service. Manager checked on us to make certain everything was going well and we had great service from Erwin.

Had a very nice dinner on a quiet Monday. There was live Cuban music, great, not very loud, and tried mushroom croquetas (delicious) and ropavieja (nice portion), with a cocktail served on a pirate barrel. The service was fast and super friendly, and the price is high, but you're paying Ocean Drive at the end of the day. A nice meal with drinks will soon reach $100 with service and tips.

Only had drinks and snacks here but so good we did it two days following. A great atmosphere, live band and perfect to watch life go by on ocean drive. The staff here are amazingly friendly and attentive. Worth a visit and deserve their rating….added some car picks to show the view😂

Officially my favorite place on Ocean Drive. Came on a day that was cold but my whole mood changed after this meal! Great service, food is tasty, and the band playing is very good! Solid vibes for anytime or to get into a good mood. Recommend: SOPA DE POLLO A MI ESTILO & LECHON ASADO (perfect amount for 2 ppl)

We had lunch there today. It was a delightful experience. Ahmed our server was friendly and helpful. Perfect weather. Delicious food - the calamari app and steamed yuca side stood out among a bunch of great bites. Fun music and vibe.

We can’t praise the warm hospitality I received here more. The service is so great here. And the food is so delicious that my friends and I all leave with a full stomach. I definitely recommend anyone who come near south beach to try out this restaurant.

We’ve visited all the La Cañita locations so far, and each one has its own unique charm and atmosphere. We absolutely loved this new spot how could we not, right in the heart of Ocean Drive. The food was incredible!! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Definitely try the mushroom croquetas and coconut mojito (My personal favorites). The live music added such a great vibe. The entire team was warm and attentive, but our server Ricky truly went above and beyond with his service and attention to detail. We’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it to both visitors and locals.

Nice atmosphere, clean, accessible, and has live music! Great bar for cocktails, listening, and people watching. Loved the music and very friendly staff. The drinks and recommended app were all great. Not too busy. Would definitely do again.

Everything! The food was tasteless, so disappointing. Michelle needs to review the flavors! The music was too loud for dining at 7, could not talk.

Absolutely incredible. Amazing staff. Some of the best food I've had and a location that cant be beat!! And oh my god the live music. Can't wait to come back.
