La Cañita Beach

We can’t praise the warm hospitality I received here more. The service is so great here. And the food is so delicious that my friends and I all leave with a full stomach. I definitely recommend anyone who come near south beach to try out this restaurant.

We had a wonderful Cuban meal here at La Canita on Ocean Drive this evening! We have owned a condo here on the beach for over 20 years and typically dined at Lario’s (until they closed) but totally excited to try this new option. VERY impressed with the meals we had (chicken and rice and Bbq pork). Wonderfully authentic Cuban cuisine in a really tastefully updated space in this historic building.This recently opened restaurant has a beautiful interior and lovely patio plus a great band that entertained us our entire meal. Service was top-notch. The service staff was very attentive and knowledgeable and really wanted give great service. Manager checked on us to make certain everything was going well and we had great service from Erwin.

We’ve visited all the La Cañita locations so far, and each one has its own unique charm and atmosphere. We absolutely loved this new spot how could we not, right in the heart of Ocean Drive. The food was incredible!! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Definitely try the mushroom croquetas and coconut mojito (My personal favorites). The live music added such a great vibe. The entire team was warm and attentive, but our server Ricky truly went above and beyond with his service and attention to detail. We’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it to both visitors and locals.

We had a great experience at this Cuban restaurant. The food was DELICIOUS and full of authentic flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole visit feel welcoming. The music added a lively touch to the atmosphere and made the meal even more enjoyable. People were dancing and fully embracing the music and positive vibes!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food, good service, and great vibes! We will be going to this restaurant every time we are in the area!

We had lunch there today. It was a delightful experience. Ahmed our server was friendly and helpful. Perfect weather. Delicious food - the calamari app and steamed yuca side stood out among a bunch of great bites. Fun music and vibe.

La Canita is such a great addition to South Beach! The food is great, Cuban food with a Caribbean flair! The drinks are great too! Atmosphere is amazing, they have a live band every night. Servers are well trained, we will be back!

If you made a reservation here, you won't be disappointed. If you stumble upon it, you will find well-prepared, delicious food, refreshing drinks, pleasant + attentive service, and, hopefully, fantastic live music! Enjoy the best views on the street and top-notch people watching!

This place was everything I was looking for. Good food, great drinks, and excellent happy hour drinks - very high quality. The atmosphere is phenomenal, the music is beautiful, and the staff are so personable and kind. I’m all about a vibey place but sometimes I feel like places lose their quality. Not here, everything about La Cañita in Miami Beach has been 10/10, no notes

Nice atmosphere, clean, accessible, and has live music! Great bar for cocktails, listening, and people watching. Loved the music and very friendly staff. The drinks and recommended app were all great. Not too busy. Would definitely do again.

Everything! The food was tasteless, so disappointing. Michelle needs to review the flavors! The music was too loud for dining at 7, could not talk.

Absolutely incredible. Amazing staff. Some of the best food I've had and a location that cant be beat!! And oh my god the live music. Can't wait to come back.
