Ecuadorian food is good but the dishes are very complexed made up of multiple steps and ingredients, meaning that you have to know how to prepare the dish because each dish is uniquely prepared, which is not so simple and one can easily mess it up or not prepare it properly.
This is my family's go to restaurant for Ecuadorian food because it's the closest Ecuadorian food to us in Brooklyn, the food is acceptable and tastes fresh but not what I am used to. The flavor is lacking a bit, the restaurant is always empty, 2 or 3 customers in the dining area, but consistent.
Ecuadorian food is not very popular, Ecuadorians have some of the best food in Latin America but they are not as popular as Peruvian or Colombian food.
The prices here are decent. Service is good, I would recommend that you visit this restaurant on early Saturday and Sunday's when they make special dishes off the menu only available Saturday's and Sundays.
