Loved this restaurant. Food was delicious and the service was great. We went there for breakfast and were very happy with our food. The place is clean and well managed.

We had dinner here tonight, little pricey but you get a ton of food, I had the Quesadilla Ranchera, Chili Verde and my husband had a combo plate which came also with soup or salad, he had a taco and enchilada, beans and rice. The tortilla chips served ahead of the meal were kinda stale, but the salsa was delicious. We also had iced tea, they gave a gigantic glass and it was very good.

I enjoyed the Barbacoa dinner with beams, rice, and a salad with homemade Ranch dressing. Everything was delicious. They provided salt, pepper, Chilli flakes and Tapatio hot sauce on the table - none was needed, as the meal, every part of it was perfectly seasoned. Went back for breakfast. Omelet, Chili Verde, tortillas. Spectacular. Our waitress was friendly, polite, and very helpful.

The food was great. The albondiga soup has great flavor! The enchiladas were amazing, along with the beans and rice. My hubby got a burrito which he devoured. The staff is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is nice, lots of frames on the wall and things to look at. It has quite the history. Would definitely recommend!

Casa Garcia never disappoints! Their Menudo is amazing and is arguably the best in the area! I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Had breakfast at La Casa Garcia and it was fantastic! Paula, our server, provided wonderful service — friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food is authentic and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere has such a great local vibe — warm, lively, and full of character. If you come on a Sunday, you’ll definitely run into all the locals. Highly recommend this spot for a true community dining experience!

Delicious food, and amazing service! The environment is very nostalgic as it will trigger childhood memories of being surrounded by family and the aroma of their Iconic menudo! BTW.... the Menudo is so good!! I live out of state and wouldn't mind making a weekend trip just to eat here!!! It's that good!!!

We were invited here for breakfast and looking at the ratings, I was unsure of what to expect. However as we entered, the aroma came wafting through and my expression changed to excited expectation! I ordered the Shrimp and Avocado Omelette thinking that it was probably a popular item as it was at the top of the menu. My wife got the Chile Verde and Eggs. Both dishes were delicious and full of flavor. I was impressed with the serving size, after reading the reviews, I expected something smaller but was happily surprised, I barely finished my breakfast! The same with my wife's dish and she is a picky eater. I also expected the service to be slow as we were part of a large group and that was a complaint of a few reviews. But I was impressed with the speed of the service and the efficiency of getting the food out in a timely manner. I really appreciate the fact that they honor veterans, there are numerous picture of veterans of all branches of service prominently displayed around the room adding to the the family-like atmosphere. I would return here, next time for lunch!!!

We've been here a few times with family and it never disappoints, service is great and plenty of seating for easily 20+ people parties. Now onto the food, we ordered a mix of American and Mexican food lol but wow was it good! Some of our family did the refillable Menudo and I'll be ordering that for sure next time. We love this place, bar area was big and I'm sure if you're craving something, they'll have it on the menu here for you!

The chips were just okay, tasting a bit bland, and the agua fresca was far too sweet for my taste. Service, however, was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself felt clean and bright. Never disappoints. Had the Menudo and 2 shredded Beef Tacos. Like always I never finish my meal, so I ordered 2 more Tacos and brought them home to my husband. I have to say WE LOVE the Garcia Family and the staff.

Honestly, it was easy to understand the low ratings from afar before going here. Not much of a vibe or niche, with Tex-Mex-y fare that seems more of the standard grade Mexican offerings you'd find outside of California and a decor that feels a bit beige. However, having been invited to La Casa Garcia selected for an extended family catch-up, I was forced to walk in with an open mind. Would it be possible to escape with a decent order for the evening? Happy to report that my order of a steak picador ($19.95) definitely made for a salvaged meal. This entree comes with a salad, and a rather sizable one. The main dish itself was everything I hoped for, with beef that was not overcooked, decently portioned, and reasonably flavored thanks to the pool of sauce it swam in. Rice and beans (topped with some cheese) made for a nice round out. In brief, it seems possible to eat perfectly decently here, though I don't find myself rushing back on my own volition with the quality and quantity of Mexican options around north OC

I normally say nothing but positive things but today I placed an order via the phone was told my order was gonna be ready in 10 minutes. I get to the location and they are having issues they said with their computers to be able to take ATM my question is this why did you not tell me that on the phone so I can bring in cash so instead you kept the food which is fine because I didn't pay for it so you wasted food and wasted my time because you did not communicate.

A group of us (20-25) had dinner here this past Saturday night. While the staff and atmosphere was pleasant, several of ordered the 'Mex/Pizza". The size was impressive and price reasonable but it was the most tasteless, terrible Mexican food I've had in decades. The meat (ground hamburger) was mushy and it was about as bland as mashed potatoes. No freshly made salsa on the tables, and even after pouring what was available and adding salt, it was still awful!!! Several of us at my table ordered this and not one of us ate more than1/4-1/3 of it. It was a total waste of money! Perhaps other items are palatable but do NOT recommend this item!

This is a go-to when we are in Disney and our recent pick-up order hit the spot after the long drive from Norcal. The five-lb burrito (plus a few extra burritos for the Cali burrito lovers in the group) served our group of 7 for two meals! The extra touches (napkins, side of guac and salsas, etc.) were noticeable and we appreciated the prompt service and great prices. It's always clean and efficient as well.

La Casa Garcia they treat you like family. Best menudo in town! We ordered Chilaquiles, Chorizo and eggs, pancakes, and of course the all you can eat Menudo, We were greeted by the Garcia Family welcome her wherever we are in town. The Barbacoa is also delicious.

This was the closest to the Mexican food I'm used to eating back home. I'm from McAllen, Texas. The menudo and the chorizo and egg plate was made like the restaurants back in the valley. Thanks, I was in the mood for this type of breakfast and It was only a four minute walk from the Hyatt regency.

Trying a new restaurant. It's 4pm and still lunch half price specials are great! I started with an appetizer. Shrimp ceviche. Great portion and only $7. Then for the main course, I chose beef fajitas. I was expecting a small potion and plate. I was wrong. The portions are big ! Highly recommended! The food is fresh, super tasty and delicious! Highly recommended. I just learned that they've been in business for 40 YEARS! That tells you a whole lot! My score for this place is 15 out of 15 ! My experience was AMAZINGLY! Thank you! I will be back.

If you're looking for good Mexican food, you might want to look elsewhere. The place was somewhat busy, so I had a bit of hope when we sat down for lunch. The lunch menu was a decent size, and the prices weren't too bad. But that's where the positives ended. I ordered the lunch fajitas, which were served on a regular plate, not the sizzling platter you'd expect. This might be because it was a lunch portion but still was a bummer. The beans were warm, that is being generous and the rice was completely forgettable. The servers were cool, very informative and even allowed the ones who wanted menudo a sample Here was why i will never come back, i am always open to giving a second chance.... buuutttt they charge EXTRA for a second basket of chips! i would understand if the chips were amazing but they were basic chips.

Very good Mexican food. Attentive service. Food came out very promptly and piping hot. Salsas were delicious. Foods spiced just right. Tortillas soft and warm.

This place is horrible. The Shrimp was hard and not even good enough for bait. The Salsa was watered down and no flavor. I did show the shrimp to the host. The Taco was ok and the beans were ok and rice bad. Go around the corner to Deltaco and save 40.00

This is my go to for menudo. I moved out of the area so I was happy to be visiting to grab some. I noticed it wasn't as busy as it has been before but the service was still good and same for the food.

The food was pretty good, I got the chelas chile I got the red and green salsa. The only issue/complaint I have is the coffee was super water down and friend's soda was also water down.

Service was ok. It was pretty busy at lunch time but my menudo came quickly and it was good. I ordered 3 asada burritos To go and the kids loved them. Prices are fair and portions too. Very casual clean restaurant.

The service was incredible, our waiter was extremely sweet and kept checking in on me and my husband in such a positive mood. The food was delicious, a bank worth your buck! This carne asada plate was $24 and I've never received this much meat for the price. The ambiance was a bit empty but the food came out faster, while there was a live guitarist going around tables offering to play songs! I don't leave many reviews, but this place is absolutely worth it.

They need to accept credit card payments without an additional fee. Food is good but they need to move into the 21st century

Took some friends to dinner Tuesday evening Seems like the service was rushed A place was not busy at all. I ordered my favorite mojarra frita. Not very good. Was not happy about meal and service. Most likely will not be returning. Didn't even take pictures

New to the area and heard this place has been here a long time and decided to try it out with my team! Great food and staff, love the pictures and all the history on the walls! Definitely recommend and will be back. Great fajitas!! :)

I've lived just down the street from this restaurant for 25 years. I loved it in the beginning and called it over the years when I thought it missed its mark. Today, I went Christmas shopping and decided to give it my business. I was stressed out and dejected over how much we (as a community) have been pushed away from each other. I'm a 5th generation Californian, and I love (and appreciate) my country. Having a quick lunch turned into an introspection of how important patriotism actually is. The food was amazing. The reminder of how important patriotism is made me cry. I can't say enough good things about the food, the vibe, or customer service. A solid 10!

The food is delicious and the flan and fried ice cream dessert is good. The waiters are friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is a little too crowded during breakfast and dinner but if you go late an hour before closing it's nice.

I've lived in this part of Anaheim for 5 yrs & didn't know about this hidden gem This place has phenomenal food, the customer service is amazing. They were very nice as well. A great place to take a date for some good Mexican food!! Prices are fair.

We went in with a large group and the hostesses looked kind of in welcoming. The service over all was ok not the best. The food was fairly good but the thing is that they kept bringing us chips and salsa that no one asked for then charged us 3.50 x9 for the chips our bill was over 600.00 so I think the chips should have been on the house. I won't ever go back and I will caution my friends

We ordered their breakfast burritos for our office (we have over 200 people). Veronica is their catering manager and she was very good. She accommodated our requests. The burritos were delivered hot, that's a huge deal when you order that many! Big bonus was they are delicious! We will definitely be ordering from them again!

Food is mid, but watch out they charge for everything! Chips that aren't even fresh and to use your bank card to pay is $1.50 on top of the automatic 20% gratuity for a party of 7. Overall don't recommend this place!

You'd think with all of the reviews they would consider better customer service and better quality food. We got here at 11 & are barely leaving. They took forever for everything. What really pissed me off today is they don't take $100 dollar bills knowing damn right everybody's bill is going to be more than $50. Then go & charge you for using your card, way to screw you over.

I used to eat here each time I came to Anaheim to visit my aunt who has since moved away for her retirement. The service is inconsistent. But when you get a good server they are excellent because they were trained for this job by simply growing up in a Mexican family. It is embedded in the culture to take care of guests the minute they enter your home and many of the staff do that here. The food is also inconsistent but still above average. The plates are big and savory. You just have to be careful to ask a lot of questions if you are vegetarian. Overall I will always have fond memories of eating here with my aunt and I hope to still be able to dine here on future visits to Southern California.

I really wish I liked this place better. I come to the area regularly and it is located very strategically and within walking distance to my hotel but not super impressed with the overall quality and taste of the food. I have been there at least 3 to 4 times and I always feel like maybe I shouldn't be going there, but there's not much else in the area I'm not super impressed with their chips and salsa or guacamole, which I have ordered at least a couple of times The only thing I really enjoyed this place was the Barbacoa tacos Also had Carne Sada ones and it was pretty decent but nothing spectacular.

I generally Love to eat here but today was a bust. I asked for all rice no beans... and was given beans. I asked for more chips and salsa (makes eating the beans easier for me) and they never came back to my table and talked at another table with a large family that they seemed to know instead. Super dissapointing to say the least.

My husband decided to try this place for breakfast this morning. He ordered abodigas and two other items. The abodigas were raw and the quality of the other items were disgusting. Veronica , a staff member of the restaurant gave me Attitude and stated that that's how the abodigas are suppose to look... worst experience I've ever had. 0/10 Food poisoning was served today.

I've been going here for years to eat menudo on a Saturday and I could not complain , but yesterday my entire family went to eat, and everyone of us got sick from the food. Not only did we eat my menudo , we've had tacos , enchiladas rice, beans, and we didn't finish our food and spent over $70 on our meal to come home and feel ill. Not good

My husband came home today after surgery and I've got the flu that's kicking my a$$ so making dinner is out of the question tonight. I called in an order for 2 of the albondigas soups! Tender and tasty meatballs, comes with tortillas, chopped onions and cilantro with lemon and a side of rice too. Thank you La Casa Garcia for saving the day!

I came here for a late lunch /early dinner as my hotel room was still being made. I came here on recommendation by friends who come here all the time when they are in town working at Anaheim Angels stadium. I had no complaints. I had a vegetarian dish and everything tasted fine, menu prices are very reasonable. Its also casual and staff are responsive
